10/01/2026: The food was divine. I'm vegan, and they easily found tasty alternatives (which is definitely not a given). The best baked onions I've ever had. My daughter had the lamb, and she's still talking about it a week later. When I got the bill, I had to double-check because I thought there was a mistake and they'd forgotten to include half the meal. Instead, it was €63 for three of us, and we were incredibly full. I don't even order pizza here. It's a shame it's so far from home.

I recommend the truffle cappelletti served with a trolley of freshly sliced ​​truffles on top, along with meats, venison, and sliced ​​steaks, and finally, the truffle pudding. Fine wines. 15/02/2026: A truly enjoyable Sunday lunch for two. We started with an excellent mixed cold and au gratin appetizer, all very fresh and beautifully presented. For our first course, we chose tagliolini with lobster: a generous, flavorful, and perfectly cooked dish. This was followed by a light, crispy, and not at all greasy fritto misto. Fast and friendly service, a modern and elegant venue. We'll definitely be back!

07/02/2026: I was looking for a place to get some excellent takeout pasta, and Vecchia Lama didn't disappoint. I ordered tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (€10), macaroni with white ragù (€9), and fried porcini mushrooms (€9), and I really couldn't say which I liked better. The handmade pasta, Apennine mushrooms, and locally raised pork ragù made the meal truly exceptional. I can't rate the service, but the owner was very kind. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the portions could have been a little larger for the price. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the authentic Tuscan-Emilian Apennines' zero-mile produce.

29/01/2026: Looking for pizza during a trip to Riccione, we stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant. A relaxed and refined atmosphere, friendly and helpful service, and truly delicious food. A place we'll happily return to—see you soon!

18/03/2026: Excellent raw materials, and the quality was clearly evident. The cured meats were served on a plate and were generally good; the culatello, in particular, was truly excellent. The prosciutto crudo was high-quality, but a large portion of the slice was made up of fat: out of a width of about five fingers, three were practically nothing but fat, which made it a bit heavy after a while. The cheese selection was very good. I wasn't entirely convinced by the Russian salad, however: I expected a stronger flavor, while the sauce that held it all together was a bit overwhelming after a while. As for the tortelli piacentini, I expected a more intense flavor, despite the added cheese, and they were probably also slightly overcooked, as they tended to fall apart even when picked up with a fork. The desserts, on the other hand, were excellent: the zuppa inglese was very good, rich in Alchermes as per tradition. The sbrisolona was also good; the zabaglione wasn't entirely my cup of tea, but it was still enjoyable.

15/03/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant. I had high expectations. But unfortunately, it was disappointing. There were 4 of us, we ordered a shared appetizer, and basically a plate arrived with: 4 slices of coppa. 4 of salami. 4 of pancetta, it looked like plastic, a small bowl of giardiniera and Russian salad = €60. Two dishes with grilled venison that required a magnifying glass for €28 CAD. Good tagliatelle. And good fried brain. And finally, the dessert, "zuppa inglese", was sickening for my taste. In the end, you either drink normal coffee or don't drink it because decaffeinated coffee doesn't exist, nor barley or anything else. I'm sorry, but the quality/price ratio is just not there.

The place offers the opportunity to interact with gentle animals and friendly people. The accommodations have kitchens if you prefer, they welcome motorhomes, and there are camping facilities. Mountain cuisine with fresh pasta is available. Enjoying wine amidst such beauty is a truly delightful experience. Thank you so much Mr. Mauro, we loved Ca di Sole and I will certainly recommend it to everyone!

14/03/2026: It was a surprise to find such a nice place serving top quality food. The place is run by the family. Chef and owner is Bulgarian and a very friendly person. They have good knowledge of wines. I guess the selection they have is good too but I couldn't try as I was driving. Portions are large. Would want to visit again if I am around.

17/01/2026: If, like me, you're only in Bologna for one night, come to dinner at Vecchia Bottega and fill up on delicious food, excellent wine, and lovely people! Not knowing what to choose, I ventured a request, which was greeted with a smile. I came for the tagliatelle, and then I ordered a platter, two first courses, and dessert. Everything was excellent, like home-made, but even better because the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Even though I was alone, I felt like I was part of the whole place. The tiramisu is special. My week of Italian vacation ends beautifully and sweetly!

14/03/2026: You have to walk there as it's located right in the center of town. You wouldn't find this place by chance without directions. Google Maps helped me with this. A small tavern under the porticoes with a few tables outside. Reservations are highly recommended. This delicatessen is so small that, when you call, they ask you which lunch hour you want: 12:00 or 2:00 PM. But these small inconveniences are compensated by the excellent products served with such passion by the owners and their family. The quality, though served in a rustic, unpretentious manner, comes at a slightly higher price. But they know how to do it. I appreciated everything, and especially the coffee served at the end in a moka pot. Things from another era.
