17/09/2025: A perfect kitchen with dishes executed to perfection

04/09/2025: This restaurant has a brightly lit, spacious indoor room - several tables were occupied by Italian families - and a long warmly lit outdoor courtyard decorated with suspended paper parasols. The food was fine. We had two pasta dishes, which were nice - my Paccieri was seriously chewy, which I didn't mind - followed by deep fried battered calamari and prawns (fried fish of the day) and grilled squid. The fried fish was fresh. The squid was rubbery and dry - it was a good jaw workout. We had two mixed salads on the side, which were not great compared to other salads I've had in Sapri. The service was prompt and efficient. The meal was fine overall: it seemed expensive for fairly standard food but I guess you pay a premium for the spacious seating, the soft music and the floating parasols.

14/10/2025: Beautiful place, very friendly staff, excellent food, excellent wine. Nothing to complain about. Convenient to get to given its proximity to the highway.

30/09/2025: the best gluten free pastry I ever had. We visited Salerno month ago and Arienzo is the one place we always recall. Great pastry, huge selection, great donuts with crema, and really appreciated croissants with pistachio cream 😊 and staff was very friendly. Definitely worth visiting.

20/07/2025: Locale con tavolini praticamente attaccati gli uni agli altri. Se prendete un calice di vino, questo deve avvenire al tavolo. Loro invece portano via i calici e li riportano pieni. Ma chi mi dice che il vino è quello scelto? E poi di solito il vino si fa assaggiare. Abbiamo preso due antipasti passibili e due risotti di mare che erano con del brodo. Non erano stati tirati bene. Non erano cattivi ma neppure un granché. Diciamo che è un ristorante molto turistico per grandi numeri.

19/10/2025: What can I say? We are in the midst of the history of Salerno's pastry shop. The staff is helpful, kind and friendly, the products are of the highest quality at excellent prices. The flagship products are the artisanal ice creams and semifreddos.

07/09/2025: We had a great time. The place is beautiful, the sea is stunning, the property could use some renovation, but its location retains its charm. The entertainment was fantastic, we had a great time. My only complaint was the food; the food was good, but the side dishes were really poor for my taste. A buffet would have been nice, and I don't think they would have failed. Otherwise, everything was perfect, especially considering the price.

07/09/2025: I'd like to point out that we're still in the period of our stay (August 31 - September 7), but I personally feel compelled to write this review to be truthful. I read comments of contempt, gratuitous nastiness, and much, much more, but drawing OBJECTIVE conclusions, I deduce how poor the people (fortunately not all) are, both materially and spiritually. The property is surrounded by nature with a sea view, 10 minutes from the partner beach, with a shuttle service included with a wide range of schedules, both morning and afternoon, and pets are allowed. Entertainment available for adults and children (Jolly Animation), made up of competent, fun, polite, helpful, and inclusive young people, led by Sofia, capable of handling even the most delicate topics with extreme care during their evening shows. Three meals a day, starting with breakfast, which includes: a variety of jams, honey, milk, coffee, biscuits, cured meats, cheeses, fresh croissants, freshly prepared desserts, etc. Lunch and dinner, as in all fully packaged resorts, are freely chosen by the guest from two or more options. The kitchen and dining room staff, in my personal experience, have been completely available and accommodating to any request. With kindness, courtesy, and extreme professionalism, they are accompanying us during this holiday season, without making us feel in need of anything. Chef Marcello, a delightful person, has stood out from the start for his approach, and nothing less can be said for the kitchen staff, the reception staff, the dining room staff, and the cleaning service. I've seen people complain about everything mentioned so far, even the transportation service, considering the vehicles obsolete and dilapidated. Let's speak objectively: an average of €450/470 per person, for 7 days (late August/early September), in total relaxation and with every comfort, but what do you expect with these prices? The food reflects the value for money you'd expect with this package; the facility is basic but welcoming. Anyone who says otherwise is only being spiteful and punitive. Expecting the Hilton, but on a smaller budget, only harms these truly deserving people. We'll definitely be back; it's already nostalgic. With love: Luigi and Orsula ❤️

24/09/2025: We had dinner here. Great location and very friendly service. Very good food, we were offered a free welcome drink, a "amusegöl" (a traditional Turkish delight), and pastries for dessert. The food was very good quality, praise to the chef. The owner chatted with us for a long time; she was very nice and helpful. We will come back and stay there again.

23/10/2025: We were drawn to the unique experience of dining inside a barrel, the only positive aspect, but unfortunately, given the adverse weather, we couldn't enjoy it. The staff wasn't at all welcoming and at times seemed almost pleased to be answering your questions. The pizzas we ordered arrived promptly (a plus), but they weren't very well-finished: mine looked like a mixed bag of ingredients. It wasn't possible to order a lactose-free pizza because they lacked the ingredient, so I had to order a "pizza" without mozzarella and with ingredients piled on top. We won't be returning.
