14/03/2026: Very good pizzas, we had a buffalo mozzarella and a half stuffed with cooked ham, buffalo mozzarella and parmesan I'll write the name (Ncoppa a chiazza) and the other half pizza topped with boiled potatoes and cruschi peppers (A casiola) I assure you they were super, if you pass by Polla this is the right pizzeria.

01/05/2026: Friendly owner and nice location. We stopped in the morning to buy some local products, which are quite expensive. When we got home, we were in for a nasty surprise... out of four products, two were a month out of date! I was really disappointed because they weren't cheap and I had to give them away... Be careful!!!

How can you respond to a customer calling to make a reservation: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me?"... I was perplexed and asked him to repeat the question to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, and he repeated: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me." It's a real shame if this place offers so much. I hope it's not the owner who responds like that, but an employee, and that this review of mine can be helpful. I'd love to be able to eat the things a dear friend of mine told me about.

06/05/2026: Lack of transparency regarding surcharges!! I wanted to have a quiet evening on Friday, April 24, 2026, but the experience turned out to be unpleasant when it came to the bill. The menu was clear: a half-meter of Margherita for €12. It then indicated that a surcharge applies for other flavors. So far, so normal, except that the word "surcharge" is interpreted in a somewhat creative way. Going from a base price of €12 to prices like €28 for adding two toppings isn't a surcharge; it's more than double the original price for choosing, again, a half-meter of pizza (instead of Margherita), three flavors: a third Margherita, a third sausage and broccoli rabe, and a third potatoes and pancetta. This seems like an unjustified exaggeration and, frankly, disrespectful to customers who trust what they read on the menu. The pizza is good as always. If you want a tip: ask for the exact price of each individual change, because the final surprise could ruin your dinner. The bill read: 2 cover charges €4.00; 2 large Fishers €14.00; 1 still water €2.00; 2 crocs, fritters, and arancini €10.00 1/2 meter mixed €28. Total €58.00

What's truly astonishing is the attitude: rudeness and arrogance at unjustifiable levels, especially considering the place was practically empty—there were three of us. So it's not a question of stress or volume management, but rather a lack of basic courtesy and respect for the customer. A cold welcome is already a sign, but here it goes further: rude responses, an annoyed tone, and a constant feeling of being "in the way." An experience that, more than ruining an evening, calls into question the professionalism of those who work with the public, to the detriment of an entire team.
