16/08/2025: Twelve euros of arrogance! In two days, I spent €250 at this restaurant. Not a small amount, I'd say! At my second lunch, however, two shrimp were missing from the raw fish platter. At the cashier, I politely pointed out that the two shrimp had never arrived, and therefore I was charged an additional €12. I expected a "sorry, I'll take care of it right away." But no: the owner decided my word wasn't enough. Evidently, for them, a customer who pays handsomely can also pretend they've been robbed of two shrimp. So, no immediate refund: first, I had to go through the security footage. I had to return two hours later, just enough time for the lady to finish watching the footage, to hear me say that yes, I was right, and that the two shrimp had never arrived. Only then, with great generosity, did they refund me my €12. Now, let's be clear: it's not about the €12, but the way it was done. After spending hundreds of euros, being treated like a potential scammer for such a trivial matter is grotesque. Clearly, they're not serving the customer here: they're monitoring them. It's a shame they don't even have a shred of respect and professionalism. 1 star. Highly discouraged!

10/08/2025: We just spent a week on this beach... what can I say... very kind staff... both the guys on the beach, the shuttle captain and the waiters... delicious food and all fresh caught that day... we will definitely be back

17/08/2025: First dinner of our trip here, on the recommendation of friends who had been there a year earlier. The gentleman was very kind, finding us a seat inside given the rather cool weather! The appetizer didn't really win me over, but the scialatielli allo scoglio made up for it; they were delicious. The price was average, we spent around 90 euros.

06/08/2025: Ettore's pizza is excellent, light, well-cooked, and made with excellent ingredients. The service may be a little slow, but eating pizza shouldn't be a rush. Super prices, with tables available inside and outside without a service charge.

21/08/2025: A charming place, and that's all I have to say about the fond memory. The fish menu seemed to be fine and standard, although when I got home I felt quite ill eating a simple spaghetti with clams, where the only flavor was lemon. As for the fried food, it's fine. As for the meat, we ordered 1 kg of T-bone for around €80. The poor slice of meat wasn't cooked, but brutally cooked. It was left whole because it was inedible. Poor service, rude staff. Shocked that a slice of stewed meat was cooked for a child, an endless wait. I don't recommend it ❤️

19/08/2025: A quality restaurant nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful towns in Cilento, Castellabate. Local products and raw materials in general treated with respect and cooked to perfection. The raw fish was phenomenal, the fish was incredibly fresh. The first courses were also exceptional, such as the spaghetti with clams and lemon, an explosion of flavor. The ravioli alla Luciano were also delicious, a must. The scialatielli were excellent. I noticed the chef's skill, especially in cooking the freshly caught fish. In fact, we tried a grilled sea bream, which many people overcook, drying it out and making the meat too dry. Ours, however, was moist and perfectly tender. The house Fiano was good. The desserts were excellent. The staff were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The owner was very elegant, helpful, and attentive. In short, we had a truly wonderful time; we truly enjoyed the dinner and it was a good value. We will definitely be back.

06/08/2025: Per la seconda volta in una settimana abbiamo cenato con la mia famiglia allo Sparviero e consiglio vivamente questo ristorante per i seguenti motivi: 1)Location centralissima e fronte mare. 2)Il personale soprattutto la manager che si occupa delle prenotazioni e il sig.Mario sono 2 PERLE RARE!! Veri professionisti del settore gentili,veloci,discreti,ottimi conoscitori di vini (ci hanno consigliato un prosecco eccellente) 3)Risotti alla pescatore tra i più buoni che abbia mai mangiato in quanto perfetti nella cottura,porzioni abbondantissime,e pesce freschissimo.A seguire fritture di calamari eccellenti arrivate in tempi brevi. Siamo solo stati sfortunati con i dolci in quanto essendo VERAMENTE di produzione propria a km.zero siamo riusciti a degustare soltanto la caprese all’arancio e la sbriciolata in quanto gli altri dolci erano esauriti. A questo punto Trovo sia inutile menzionare il prezzo perché dove c’è qualità,professionalità,massima attenzione al cliente(cosa molto rara al giorno d’oggi)il prezzo a mio avviso è relativo! Continuate così !!! Alla prossima.

19/06/2025: Da provare assolutamente, per me è eccellente in tutto: nella qualità dei prodotti, la preparazione, il servizio, l'accoglienza e la gentilezza di tutti, della proprietaria in maniera particolare! Un'infinità varietà di prodotti, dal più semplice al più innovativo! Consigliatissimo!!!

07/09/2025: A pub away from the chaos of the city center, with a medieval atmosphere, a great selection of music, and very efficient and fast staff. The food was excellent, the meat super tender, and the sandwiches were beautifully filled. I haven't had such a good sandwich in a long time. We also tried the fritto misto, which was excellent. A wide selection of both beers and sandwiches. Overall, satisfied.

17/08/2025: Super fast service, even on a Saturday night with a full house. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Everything was perfect.

03/09/2025: Extremely poor quality, the seafood is frozen, but it's not specified on the menu (the waiter claims it isn't). The charcuterie board was extremely basic, with a mussels peppered with pepper, which was utterly disgusting, with dried-out, frozen mussels that were INEDIBLE. The seafood scialatielli was truly awful, frozen, and of truly low quality. Finally, the trofie with zucchini and sausage was completely tasteless. A tourist restaurant to avoid.

02/09/2025: The three of us had a portion of rice salad with octopus and shrimp that was inedible, and two seafood scialatielli, a cola, and two half glasses of white wine. I asked for the bill, and the owner didn't want us to [PAY] [for the risotto]. So, two scialatielli, two half glasses of white wine, and a can of cola, €60. I won't be returning.

03/09/2025: A bad experience is an understatement. The staff was friendly, but completely understaffed for the number of guests. I repeatedly asked the owner about the wines, but he initially seemed lost, then told me, "You can find everything on the wine list." We decided to order a fish of about 1 kg, and it arrived already cleaned in mini portions... I asked to see it and also for the head to be brought to the table so I could at least see it, but they said nothing. I'm shocked by this superficiality. It's unfortunate that I had this bad experience, especially since the bill was 60 euros each.

31/08/2025: Beautiful location. Shame about the service and food... A long wait for food; the waitresses were inattentive, and the food was nothing special...

12/08/2025: Great cafe with lovely staff. The English-speaking lady was so lovely and remembered our order each day. Gluten free options and lovely coffee!

12/08/2025: Great cafe on the main strip. Service is friendly and fast, they have lactose and gluten free options. One girl in particular who spoke English to help us, was extremely helpful and lovely to chat to. We went back here each day.
