08/02/2025: nuova gestione dopo più di 30 anni di onorata carriera. Inevitabile fare il paragone. Si sono mantenuti i piatti della tradizione, cilentana rivisitati magari nell' impiattamento, ma con materie prime ancora di buona qualità . Nota negativa per il costo sensibilmente aumentato ma, d'altronde, c'era da aspettarsi che in qualche modo si dovesse recuperare l'investimento del rinnovo locale che ora appare più fresco e giovane. Si va dai 20 euro dell' antipasto della casa passando per i 12/15 dei primi per finire ai 18/20 dei secondi. Prezzo che potrebbe anche essere accettato se non fosse per le porzioni davvero misere proposte, tanto da fare pensare ad un difetto di comunicazione che ha portato il cameriere ad ordinare solo mezza porzione di tagliata. La porzione portata a tavola si aggirava sui 150 g per un costo di 18 euro, che porta la carne ad cica 200 euro al kg. Un po' troppo! Da che il nuovo nome del locale che passa da "la chioccia d'oro" al più giusto "il vitello d'oro". Credo che se affrontato il problema delle porzioni misere il locale abbia il suo perché e possa onorare e tramandare la lunga carriera alle spalle

24/03/2025: Andate al trove c' è molto di meglio dopo aver frequentato per anni questo locale e finché c' era il padre andava tutto bene ora ci siamo stati per pranzo esperienza da dimenticare, prezzo non giusto, l' unica cosa sicura è che non ci torneremo mai più, scappate via!!!!!!!!!!

28/12/2024: We ate a pizza, excellent light dough and the pizzas are very special. The owner recommended a trio of pancakes made with pizza dough as an appetizer. They were extraordinary, we also took the croquettes. Very good, stringy and hot. The owner is very welcoming. He started chatting with us, a very nice guy in a kind way who makes you feel at home.

19/03/2025: I liked that this restaurant was open during the day. Not a usual thing in this area. There is a very nice wood burning fireplace in the dining area. Staff are very friendly and inviting. The pasta was delicious. Tiramisu not so much. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended!

20/03/2025: Very nice external location clashes with the service a bit poor and above all with the kitchen really not up to par. We ate very salty dishes, to the point that most of us left what we ordered. A shame for the potential of the place

They pay particular attention to customers which is also evident from the distance between the umbrellas, leaving more than enough space to enjoy the beach without fear of annoying the neighbours... Care never found in other beaches... Structure a little ' dated.. But still highly recommended.

21/03/2025: Unfortunately I had to cancel this stay at the last minute because my flight left early the next morning. Within no time the booking was cancelled by them free of charge. Now that's what I call service!

17/01/2025: I had been to this place a few years ago and tonight I decide to go back. It has changed management, now it is called "Va.mo.s". Two skimpy sandwiches (maybe the ones at Mc are bigger), a bottle of water and two side dishes of chips cost us a whopping €40. Welcoming environment and very kind staff, however I don't think I will return due to skyrocketing prices.

03/12/2024: I discovered this place following a friend's suggestion and I was pleasantly surprised by the goodness of the pizza and panuozzo. Good raw materials and generous portions. And the price... really fair So, to spend an evening with friends and eat a good pizza without spending a fortune, this is the right place!
