05/04/2026: A historic pizzeria in Vomero, and a historic pizzeria for me. I grew up with Gorizia pizza, ever since I was a child, I used to go with my father to get pizzas and watch the current owner's father prepare them. Quality pizza, excellent fried foods, and that family atmosphere that brings back happy memories of my childhood and my past. Recommended place for those who haven't yet visited.

07/05/2026: Let's start with the price: a simple Margherita costs €10. The quality of the pizzas: among the poorest I've ever tasted. Rubbery dough, flavorless ingredients, everything that makes a true Neapolitan pizza feel like it's missing here. Even the water isn't worth it; the flavor is awful and heavy. The impression was of a tourist-baiting pizzeria, of which only the name remains. And thank goodness they invented the Margherita here... now only the sign remains, but otherwise it's not worth it. The service... nonexistent, distracted, inattentive, arrogant waiters... a terrible experience because in Naples you expect a smile and a cheerful atmosphere, and to feel at home; here they've forgotten that, unlike other restaurants where smiles and courtesy reign supreme.

Every detail was taken care of with love and refinement, from the wonderful tables adorned with rosemary on the napkins, which added an elegant and fragrant touch, to the welcoming and familiar atmosphere that made us feel truly special. A special thanks goes to the restaurant manager, always available, attentive, and professional, able to accommodate every need with great kindness. And a heartfelt thank you to the owner, a wonderful, sweet, and incredibly kind person, who welcomed us with a smile and made our day unforgettable. Excellent food, impeccable organization, and so much passion in everything they do. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to celebrate an important event in an elegant and warm venue.

26/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, having skipped lunch and were looking for a place that would offer a quick but tasty late-afternoon meal. The welcome was excellent, the typical local dishes were delicious, and the food was truly delicious. The place is modern, clean, and welcoming.

30/05/2026: A small Italian kitchen under a suburban rail station outside of Napoli...this place is like Jiro dreams of sushi if Jiro was Italian and his son was hostile to English speakers. You do need some basic Italian to get through a meal here (which I do not have, so I would up with basically the dunce meal...no pasta, 3 delicious meatballs and the best salted and mashed broccoli i've had since I was a kid). I would have liked to try the bolognese and talked to the father and son duo about how the neighborhood changed and what their retirement plans look like, but it wasn't in the cards. I did get a pat on the shoulder at one point towards the end of the meal as I sopped up the tomato sauce with bread, a warm enough acknowledgement that, if I work on my Italiano and find myself back in this corner of Napoli, I'm welcome back to try again. And based on the quality and flavor of what I did have, there's a solid chance I try to make that happen.

03/05/2026: Excellent pizza, carefully prepared and expertly crafted dough: you can taste the true passion behind every dish. Unfortunately, last night we couldn't finish it—we were already full from lunch—and we asked for a box to take it home. We noticed that the owner, who is also the pizza chef, and his son were a little disappointed... and I understand why: when you put your heart into what you do, you see someone who doesn't finish their plate, and it makes an impression. But I want them to know it wasn't the pizza's fault—it was our fault! 😄 In fact, we enjoyed the one we took home afterwards, and even cold it was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the dedication you can see and taste in every bite. 🍕

11/04/2026: I've been coming here for almost a year and the pizzas are very heavy, I tried the pizza with truffle, a very heavy pizza and the combinations create a lot of acidity, even the Margherita is "full" of oil, the atmosphere is not bad, but very cramped, especially when it's very crowded.

30/12/2025: Was closed, not sure if permanently or just for holiday or season.

14/11/2025: I don't know if it was bankruptcy or if they're on vacation. I know I wasted time walking to the place only to find a closed door with no warning.
