Good morning, I had lunch there last week. The location is stunning, the veranda with lemon trees is exceptional for an aperitif. The staff is qualified and the quality/price ratio is excellent, considering we are in Capri.

A very scenic restaurant serving Neapolitan Caprese cuisine.
The dishes are beautifully crafted, with excellent appetizers and delicious first courses!
The staff is very friendly and professional, and the location is stunning.
Prices are average for Caprese.

Unfortunately, this is not the Paolino we first visited seven years ago. The charm and the concentrated atmosphere of Capri that used to envelop you are gone. The dedicated dessert room is gone, the antipasti room is gone, and the original lemon-infused dishes have disappeared from the menu, yet the number of tables has doubled. Perhaps, if this had been our first time at Paolino, we would have been just as enchanted as we were back then. But time has not made this restaurant better, sadly.

Beautiful place with lemon trees creating such a unique atmosphere. It’s super Instagram-worthy and definitely worth visiting for the set up.
I was expecting some live music (as Instagram is full of videos with dances and music) and maybe a bit of dancing, but we arrived around 22:30 PM and only caught the very last song. That was a bit surprising, especially since dinners in Italy usually start pretty late. Also we were there on Friday night
The food was okay, but nothing really stood out in terms of flavor. It felt like the quality of an average restaurant, while the prices were much higher than average. the Paolino bun (if I’m remembering the name correctly) was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal.
