From Paolino it is 10/10. My favorite restaurant on the Island of Capri. Da Paolino is not just a restaurant, it is an experience!!! Its tables are located under a wonderful lemon tree garden! The "roof" of the restaurants are the lemon trees, with a view of the sky between the lemons. The most beautiful thing! The restaurant's dishes are wonderful, in a kitchen that has been passed down from father to son for a few years. This lemon grove oasis in Capri is a show-stopper for sure when visiting the island. Recommended by our island friend, Vincenzo we just had to give it a try. The ambience and setting are idyllic for Capri as you sit amongst the olive trees on candle-lit tables. We happened to walk by before service started and the training for the evening was taking place. I love seeing that. The staff was attentive, polite and professional. As other reviewers have said, the dessert bar is a real treat. Be aware that there is a charge per plate so if you over-stuff your dessert plate with the choices it might be a hefty add-on. It's o.k. it is worth it. I tried the tiramisu and Torta Caprese (named for the island) We also enjoyed lemon ravioli too and bufalo mozzarella appetizers. Capri is an expensive island to visit so don't be surprised at your bill, it's an island and many food items have to travel. It is definitely worth it here. We didn't see any celebrities but enjoyed watching others snap as many pictures as they could. I would also recommend dressing up a little bit, casual shorts and beach attire did not seem to be anywhere we looked.

Though hard to find, you’ll take a bit of a walk to get here, the food and atmosphere are FANTASTIC - we really enjoyed the meal within the orchard!

Excellent. A magnificent place, absolutely worth trying if you visit Capri. Everything of the highest level, really compliments.

Ci sono stato due volte, prima per un evento aziendale, poi ho voluto tornarci con mia moglie. Cibo ottimo. Squisite la tartare di tonno rosso e la pezzogna all’acqua pazza. Ma anche tutto il resto è notevole compresi i dolci. Gentilissimi Paolino e Michela che ci hanno fatto sentire ospiti graditi e ci hanno raccontato la loro storia. Prezzi da stella Michelin, ma lo è anche la qualità. Servizio perfetto. Il posto è poi splendido, sotto una foltissima pergola carica di limoni.
