21/06/2025: We asked if we could sit down just to drink two beers since it was a pub, so we ordered two simple medium beers (one of which was badly poured) too bad that two covers were added to the bill. I remind the operators that the cover charge is a fixed rate, often applied per person, which covers the costs of service, table linens, cutlery, glasses and, in some cases, bread. It is not linked to the food consumed, but rather to the use of the elements necessary to consume the meal and the table setting. The "service" of the beers did not include ANY of this, not even coasters. We did not reply to the bill since we will never return and we will certainly not recommend it to our friends and relatives who often vacation in Villapiana.

20/08/2025: Beautiful place, on Lake Cecita. The owner is very kind and welcoming, as are the staff. Congratulations! I'll definitely be back. I recommend the pasta alla pecoraia and the grilled meat (very good).

16/08/2025: We had lunch on Ferragosto (August 15th) at this farm and were speechless. The name says it all: the view is indescribable and worth the trip alone. I particularly enjoyed the food, cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, with music and entertainment, and the staff is extremely professional and friendly.

06/07/2025: Divinely eaten, appetizers with local products, Calabrian fusilli with sauce, baked lamb, eggplant rolls and roasted peppers. Delicious food, welcoming host, amazing cook. Even the house red was pleasant. An experience to repeat... definitely!

21/08/2025: One of the most horrible places I've ever been to, with an arrogant owner who treats his employees like slaves. While you're waiting for a pizza, they come by with bags of flour and boxes of peeled tomatoes. They boast about having a Neapolitan pizza chef (excellent). The pizza arrives quickly. It should be noted that the place only had 3 or 4 seats, and then I discover that two of the pizzas I ordered are missing mozzarella. I check the menu and see that mozzarella isn't listed (seafood pizza). I try to eat it and immediately realize that my doubt was valid. How will the toppings stay on the pizza without mozzarella? Well, I thought that was the only problem, but then comes the surprise!!! A nice amount of chopped mussel skins in the toppings, truly disgusting!! I wonder if the pizza chef is really the owner, have they ever eaten a real pizza? As a good Bari native, I really wondered if this is the job? The place is quite run-down, the dishes are wrong, I order French fries and they arrive in the oven, ok, it doesn't matter, they're healthier. After a while, more fries arrive, this time fried. Turning to the waiter, I point out that the only portion of fries I ordered had already arrived, wrong because they were baked but it was fine anyway, he leaves them anyway, I tell him ok, it doesn't matter, leave them alone, we eat them anyway, after ten minutes, we had already eaten some French fries anyway, he comes back and takes away the plate. Gentlemen, the worst in life never ends. I don't recommend the place.

03/08/2025: I ate here for lunch with my wife and my 2 children, we had a great time, the atmosphere of an osteria and really good food, we had 4 bruschetta and potatoes with black pepper as an appetizer, my wife a Campania pizza with a really good dough and ingredients, I had a porcello sandwich that was presented with the typical Calabrian sausage, mushrooms, lots of nice stringy mozzarella and spicy ketchup, the children we shared a seafood risotto which they devoured... prices perhaps slightly high but the food really good therefore good value for money, the only flaw is the portions between one and the other took quite a while to arrive

21/06/2025: Average place, good pizza. The problem is the service. Only one person, also physically unfit, who goes back and forth between the kitchen and about twenty tables. Biblical waiting times. Bring a crossword puzzle. I'll add that no one in the place smiles, even a fake one. It almost seems like those who come in for dinner...are a pain in the ass. ....last but not least....a cumulative receipt...where you don't understand what you paid for and why. NEVER AGAIN

25/05/2025: Beautiful and welcoming structure but not suitable for contemporary receptions due to the lack of separate spaces. Today's experience was truly negative both for the rude noise and for the inability of the managers to limit it in favor of the other guests; furthermore we also had to endure the same menu as the contemporary reception. Added to all this are the not very polite responses of the owner who instead of apologizing for the chaos, at the end greeted us by telling us that this "is not a place for us"

25/05/2025: Il locale è carino, ma purtroppo è carente su molti aspetti. Abbiamo pranzato in compagnia ma non abbiamo potuto scambiare una parola con gli altri commensali, perchè il locale era adibito praticamente a discoteca Karaoke, per un folto gruppo di bambini con genitori al seguito. Niente da dire sui bambini, ma se scelgo un ristorante mi piacerebbe mangiare e conversare a decibel accettabili, altrimenti me ne sarei andato a mangiare un panino in discoteca. Strutture di questo genere che vogliono avere anche l'animazione con tanto di casse acustiche a manetta, dovrebbero avere locali preposti o per lo meno non accettare altre prenotazioni di persone ignare. Ma la cosa più offensiva è stata la risposta del gestore, che invece di scusarsi ci ha risposto che il posto non era per noi. Questa risposta da sola, varrebbe la recensione. Per quanto al cibo, niente di particolare a dire il vero, ma in questo contesto era il male peggiore. Naturalmente, non mi sento di consigliare questo posto, per lo meno a chi ha intenzione di pranzare in un ambiente accogliente anche dal punto di vista sonoro.
