Upon arrival you're taken aback for a moment because it feels like you're arriving in an old neighborhood bar, but don't worry, just a few steps away there is a small staircase that leads up to the old cellar. The interior space in its simplicity is very beautiful. But the beauty is outside with a large tree-lined and well-kept lawn, here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Let's go to the menu, with good proposals for starters, first and second courses, both fish and meat, and the thin and very digestible pizza cannot be missing. Prices are normal, the staff is kind and attentive. To review the desserts, not the best and nothing from the house. Recommended for spending an evening in the fresh air and with good food.

20/08/2024: I booked in July for the Geolier concert on August 18th 2024, Mr. Antonio, owner of the structure, was very kind straight away and communicated to us various availability of rooms for our needs. Exceptional hotel with a fantastic view, close to the sea and I want to underline the obsessive cleanliness every day we stayed. The staff throughout the facility are super helpful and always with a smile. Strategic position to reach Diamante. We will definitely return for a next occasion.

30/07/2024: Restaurant in the mountains above 1000 meters for a cool summer evening, ample parking, quality service and equally good menus. I recommend it both for events and for an evening with friends.

23/08/2024: An exquisite pizza, not in the Neapolitan or Roman tradition: Calabrian, tasty and beautifully cooked, leavened even better (no discomfort the following night). The place is beautiful, serves wonderful desserts and ice creams. Sila, wonderful, adds the rest. Experience to try.

26/08/2024: Excellent place in the center of Scalea, they cook excellent traditional Sicilian dishes. We had a wonderful time and ate really well, everything was delicious from the starter to the dessert but the waiting times were really exaggerated, the evening we went there was only one waiter for so many people and we were lucky to have gone on a day during which many people had already returned from holidays

25/08/2024: IF YOU WANT TO EAT REAL GRANITA, YOU MUST GO TO "VULARIE SICILIANE"!! I am Sicilian, being on holiday in Scalea, while I was walking I came across this bar/tavern. I won't deny that I started out with very, very low expectations. My husband and I thought "it can never be as good as Sicilian granita". We sit down, the waitress arrives (a nice and polite girl), we take 1 ricotta and pistachio granita, 1 prickly pear and mandarin granita, 2 croissants, a small natural bottle of water. Well what can I say, at the first spoonful we were literally enraptured. Just one word. Fantastic. We didn't expect such a good granita in Scalea. We will certainly return again and again until the end of our stay in Scalea. The price is excellent (€12.50), the employees are really kind, the area is central, you can decide whether to stay inside with the air conditioning or enjoy the outdoor tables.

23/08/2024: Locale grande e organizzato proprietario gentilissimo e attento buoni gli antipasti pronti in pochi minuti abbiamo provato uno di terra e uno di mare top anche i primi e i secondi buonissimi con porzioni abbondanti mitico il cameriere che chiamano nonno maligno con lo scherzo della tazzina sicuramente torneremo

05/09/2024: A tradition that we repeat every year after a camping trip in the mountains is to end with a drink of Zibibbo. A total disappointment, Zibibbo of very poor quality and super watered down. We have known Cantinella for decades and Zibibbo was exceptional in its time.

04/08/2024: Enchanting place located in the greenery and a few km from Sila. Exquisite cuisine: from starters to desserts, plentiful and all first choice. Typical Calabrian cuisine, from ricotta to cured meats, raw ham, capicollo, soppressata, to pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, to meat cooked to perfection etc...etc...Friendly staff and very polite owner. Highly recommended..

21/07/2024: DON'T GO THERE!! please do yourself and humanity a favor and go elsewhere, the cuisine is disgusting with meat overcooked and hard like potatoes (which by the way had a hair on them) everything was disgusting the worst thing was the water and maybe maybe the fried meatballs which were hard to do badly and maybe the ricotta which was obviously hot. Staff either deaf or who pretended to be so that what I believe was the owner, in addition to being obnoxious and bitchy, responded badly to some of us for no reason, there is no physical or online menu, dogs cannot enter and there is field. This was made even more infuriating by a baby who cried for 2 hours. So terrible cuisine, equally terrible service, environment and management, I beg you to choose something else
