05/05/2026: We visited Il Peperoncino Pizzeria da Asporto and were very satisfied!
There were three of us and we ordered three pizzas: Salsiccia Fresca, Golosa, and Diavola. All the pizzas were very good, with well-made dough and fresh ingredients. The flavor was rich and well-balanced.
For drinks, we had two 0.33-cl Peroni beers and a 0.33-cl can of Coca-Cola. Everything was served cold and quickly.
The wait time was about 10 minutes, really quick. Even though it's a takeout pizzeria, we ate there—the atmosphere was simple but pleasant.
The total bill was €27, a great price for the quality and quantity.
Recommended!

02/05/2026: A unique and sophisticated experience. Impeccable service. I just arrived in Calabria and I'm already very happy with the local cuisine. This Osteria is definitely worth a visit! I will definitely return. I ate a panna cotta fit for the gods, very unique with a sweet paprika powder topping, sensational!

02/06/2026: During a visit to Scalea, we stopped at the L'Ancora beach restaurant. I tried a first course, paccheri with shrimp and pistachios, which was truly excellent. The fried calamari, however, wasn't particularly satisfying. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and quick with their service. The prices were fair, in line with the quality offered and the sea-view location. Overall, a positive experience.

08/02/2026: We were at La Perla del Tirreno and had a truly excellent experience. Everything was delicious, from the freshest seafood dishes to the meticulous presentation. I truly appreciated the kindness of the owner and the maître d', who were always attentive and helpful.
A major plus: the owner immediately took steps to accommodate my husband, who has a fish allergy, by preparing a truly excellent slice of meat. Furthermore, the restaurant is well-equipped to accommodate celiacs, with great attention to detail and professionalism.
Fresh seafood, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service, all overlooking the sea.
We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2025: We stayed at Villa Brazzano and were absolutely thrilled! The property is stunning, meticulously maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for relaxing in touch with nature.
The breakfast is excellent, with fresh fruit and a good variety of products to suit all tastes.
The staff was always kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home.
A charming place that we highly recommend.

18/11/2025: Gio’s Pub is one of our favourite places to go whenever we’re in Scalea. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the food is exactly what you want from a good pub meal. Nothing pretentious, just hearty, filling dishes that taste amazing. It’s a great spot for all ages and has a lovely, easygoing vibe.
We’ve eaten both inside and outside. The outdoor area can be a little dark in the evenings with not the best lighting, but it doesn’t take anything away from the ambience or the quality of the food. If anything, it adds to the charm.
This time I had the truffle burger with chips and it was absolutely divine. Packed full of flavour and cooked perfectly.
Overall, Gio’s Pub is a must visit in Scalea. Friendly people, great food and a brilliant atmosphere every time. Five stars without a doubt.
