Be careful when you order, ask how long it will take first... for a sandwich for 5 of us we waited almost 2 hours, I'm not kidding... and it wasn't even high season.

Every time I pass through or come to Camigliatello, it's one of my first choices for a bite to eat. They also have a covered dining area, so in the winter it's great for those who want a more sheltered spot. In the summer, they have tables on the main street square, and it's wonderful to stop and eat outdoors in the wonderful, fresh, clean Sila air.

I've been to this place more than once and can confirm that it's a must-visit if you're in Camigliatello. Whether you grab a quick sandwich on the street or sit down at the restaurant a little further down, the quality never disappoints. What makes this place special: • The food: Everything is truly delicious. From the incredibly crispy sandwiches (the one with meat, potatoes, and onions is a masterpiece of flavor that I ate just yesterday) to the restaurant dishes. The meat is always tender, and the flavors are authentic, local. • The welcome: The staff is a great asset. They are incredibly kind and courteous, making you feel welcome. Even the lady who prepares the sandwiches, despite being very busy with her work, was kind and professional. Why return: It's rare to find a place where both the street food and the table service maintain such a high standard. It's definitely worth a stop, even if just for a quick stop. If you want to eat well and experience true Silan hospitality, you're in the right place.

It's now a must-visit. From the aperitifs to the appetizers, pasta, main courses, side dishes, and desserts, they're the envy of even the finest Michelin-starred restaurants. And it's not just Chef Barbieri who says so, it's anyone who's had a say in the art they bring to the table. The owner, Roberto, is a man with a heart of gold, helpful and always smiling. The staff is just as good as he is. With you, Camigliatello has taken on a whole new edge.

I had seen Bruno Barbieri who was here and was showing off the dishes he was eating. So as soon as I happened to be in Calabria, I wanted to go here to eat. Breaded porcini mushrooms and something super delicious, the stuffed guinea fowl, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms are spectacular, a beautiful wine cellar, even the important ones. We couldn't finish the second course, we were full. The only thing was that we paid 17 euros for two grappas and a développement which was just a taste. For two we spent 150 euros which is not a small amount. But there's nothing to complain about the food, the food is good.
