27/08/2025: We've been trying to book for 3 years...we've succeeded now, what can I say, excellent dishes, good prices...we'll definitely be back, we'll book in June 🤣🤣

24/08/2025: Today we finally ate at this restaurant. It's very difficult to find a table because it's always packed. Beautiful location near the sea. The staff is very friendly. The food is good quality and well-prepared. Lunch was seafood-based. I especially recommend the seafood paccheri. We had a variety of appetizers and two first courses. The portions were so generous that we couldn't finish the second course. I recommend trying this restaurant. Book at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

08/10/2025: We were very happy that we stumbled into this restaurant, and that it was open during the siesta time . Very friendly, great atmosphere, the food was very very good. What I love the most- the burger was without the bun. Great!!!! And fried potatoes were absolutely delicious

A wide selection of high-quality products, from breakfast to aperitifs, is available. The aperitif, in particular, is truly fantastic: rich, beautifully presented, and made with select ingredients. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the best.

25/11/2025: A typical seaside hotel. The interior is showing its age, although some of the room finishes are appreciable. The staff is very young and helpful; perhaps lacking in attention, but certainly pleasant, and any small shortcomings are readily forgiven. The breakfast isn't particularly extensive, but the products are high-quality. The price, finally, is reasonably reasonable, especially considering the service received.

17/10/2025: Highly recommended. Excellent local Matera cuisine served in generous portions. The staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant is elegant, with cloth-lined tables. The terrace overlooking the Sassi is actually a window, but considering the reasonable prices, it's a restaurant worth trying.

30/11/2025: If you want a croissant, you have to go to Carlucci's. They offer pistachio, Nutella, cream, cream and black cherry, and more. They also offer delicious gelato, and you should definitely try their pastries. For mid-morning, try the croissant with cream...top

12/07/2025: Probably since 1005 BC, the local grocery store has been visited by people from the Czech lands. 😁😁 This significant event is enhanced by the fact that we arrived on a Czech horse - a Škoda KAMIQ. We thank you for the kind service at the checkout and we promise to cook the purchased pasta at home and eat it with pleasure.

21/09/2025: Every time we go to Basilicata, it's a regular stop, and it never disappoints. The restaurant's highlight is the spade (spade). Each one is better than the last, though for my personal taste, the bombette (a kind of fried pork shoulder) is the best. The antipasto, gli sfizi di Nonnandò, consists of five typical Lucanian specialties, which vary from time to time, and are cooked just like grandma used to make. Everything is excellent, even the desserts, and the staff is always quick and attentive, even when the place is full. We can't wait to return, although unfortunately we'll have to wait until next year.

21/10/2025: The view of Matera is very pretty, and at night it's magical. Access is good, but the place is very large, making it impersonal and a bit noisy. The food is good but lacks refinement.

20/10/2025: We dined here as part of the Matera walking tour, and found it to be a very pleasant place with excellent quality dishes. The tour of the cellars was interesting, and compliments to all the staff. Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: Siamo stati alla Latteria dietro consiglio e…gran consiglio!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Taglieri, spaghetti san giovannino, guanciale di vitello, tagliata, formaggio alla piastra. Tutto buonissimo. Se andate a Matera alla Latteria non sbagliate.

03/11/2025: The pizza was perfect. Many other things looked good too. A salad for €10 with EU-produced, tasteless blend of olive oil from a hotspot for olive oils? Salt from a large salt shaker that belongs in the kitchen, not on the table. Vinegar that also belongs in the kitchen. If I'm going to have a salad, it should have decent ingredients or not at all. Good olive oil, good vinegar, and usually clean salt and pepper shakers. So, the price-performance ratio isn't right for anything other than pizza. I won't be going back. Sorry.
