01/04/2025: I had dinner with friends on March 27, 2025, everything was delicious from the appetizer to the fruit, not only in the home-made preparation of the food but above all in the excellent and genuine quality of the products (typically local). Excellent service, friendly staff and a welcoming place. In short, if you love eating well, visit Cirigliano, a characteristic village in the province of Matera and stop to eat at the "Il Mulino" restaurant

25/03/2025: We discovered this fantastic restaurant on Saturday for lunch with friends.........A combination of refinement, raw materials and preparation by the chef and the wisdom in the narration of the courses and in the wine recommendations by Salvatore make the experience and the place unique in the area. Quality and tradition come together in a marriage of harmonies for the palate that evokes the past and tradition of Lucania, allowing you to immerse yourself in a journey (tasting exceptional appetizers) of superlative food and wine. An experience to try and I recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

09/03/2025: Ho festeggiato gli 80 anni di mio suocero, location davvero carina, pulita e ben curata. Cibo spettacolare, ottima cantina dei vini e personale molto molto disponibile e preparato. Sottolineo la qualità dei prodotti e dei sapori per nulla pasticciati. Complimenti davvero e soprattutto grazie per aver reso speciale una giornata che lo era già di suo. Grazie!

03/02/2025: Spartan, essential tavern, it seems to have gone back in time. It is located a few meters from the heart of the Sassi, near Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Typically and genuinely Matera menu, delicious bread balls, as are the first courses and the stew with potatoes, a good dessert of the day. Very kind staff. Excellent quality/price ratio. One of the surprises of our stay in the city. Compliments. Highly recommended

03/02/2025: Osteria spartana, essenziale, sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo. Si trova a pochi metri dal cuore dei sassi, vicino alla piazza Vittorio Veneto. Menù tipicamente e genuinamente materano, polpette di pane buonissime, altrettanto i primi e lo spezzatino con patate, dolce del giorno buono. Personale gentilissimo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Una delle sorprese del nostro soggiorno in città. Complimenti. Consigliatissimo

10/12/2024: Siamo stati accolti con sorriso e cordialità da Pasquale in questa masseria, un tempo un forte aragonese e poi un monastero. Ci ha dato un sacco di consigli e ci ha fatto molto piacere! La struttura è molto affascinante, la camera molto ampia e ben arredata, unico consiglio svecchiare il bagno e rendere la colazione a buffet in modo tale da evitare eventuali sprechi. Consigliato, a pochi km da Matera, nel bel mezzo delle colline lucane!

14/11/2024: Struttura bellissima e pressoché unica nel suo genere, junior suite super accogliente. Staff disponibilissimo per ogni richiesta ed esaustivo nei suggerimenti. Grandissimo punto a favore per la colazione, abbondante e assortita, con prodotti fatti in casa e materia prima a km 0.

07/01/2025: Small and welcoming place, staff, friendly and kind! The starters were good, the meatballs were the only thing we didn't like as they were cold and the sauce was frozen! The starters were tasty!

02/09/2024: For those who want to enjoy good food and an amazing atmosphere overlooking the sea! It stands out for the quality of the fresh products, the hospitality and kindness of Alessandro, the owner, always attentive to the customer's needs and available for any request. We chose a seafood appetizer (with cold samples) and two first courses. The appetizer is rich in dishes: octopus (exquisite), mussels, swordfish, local pilchard and many other delicacies, all delicious, accompanied by a good white wine recommended by Alessandro. And then the first ones... One more enjoyable than the other! A classic seafood dish and cuttlefish ink with burrata and red prawn tartare... DIVINE!!! The prices are very honest. Definitely recommended place!

03/01/2025: I have no words to describe the evening spent here. I am writing on behalf of three people: myself and two friends. We were welcomed in a masterful way, Luigi and Sisina opened the restaurant for us even if we were alone. They fed and entertained us all evening. I heartily recommend the recipes with bran peppers. It is now rare to find places like this, where catering is seen as a profession that is a source of pride. Highly recommended to anyone who will have it lucky to enjoy this place before it (alas) closes soon.

27/10/2024: Sempre riscontrato gentilezza e professionalità in questo bar peccato per uno spiacevole episodio di scortesia,presunzione,ed arroganza con evidente mancanza di professionalità da parte di una dipendente! Giusto non "perdersi per €1.30"detto con spavalderia alla cassa piena di gente ... Ma anche giusto da parte del cliente non finire con il mal di pancia per colpa di un espressino con latte andato a male !
