14/02/2026: The place is really hidden and it was hard to get to, but it was nice inside. One of the waiters who served us was nice, but the otherone was very rude. The food took ages to arrive and although it was tasty, it wasn't worth the price for the quantity or quality. I left here very angry, late, and hungry. A disaster!
14/02/2026: On the menu, the dish I chose was described as featuring vegetables with different textures due to the cooking process. Despite the high price, I decided to order it—a terrible decision. I received five steamed lettuce leaves, which I had to repeatedly ask the waiter for oil and salt to give them any flavor. He forgot, and I ended up eating them plain. The "sharing" dishes are listed as such on the menu, but then they charge double. It's ridiculous. Horrible.

18/02/2026: Nice strong coffee, delicious desserts, helpful staff and seating overlooking the square. For 2 coffees and 2 desserts for 10 € in the center of such a city, I think it's beautiful.

The food was okay, but nothing outstanding, but the staff definitely put us off! Very unfriendly and arrogant; I've rarely encountered such unfriendly staff.

Fennel pie appetizer was simply delicious in every way! Full of taste along with a cheese pie to complement it.
Square spaghetti was so different and delicious- we savored every bit! Cavatelli with.cod and tomatoes was superb and savory! Just a great delicious experience !

20/08/2025: A truly lovely place with friendly and welcoming staff.
My wife and I were there for three nights and had the pleasure of experiencing three different musical evenings, all united by the fun everyone had. The cocktails and beers were good, with a wide selection, but the team, Francesco in particular, made the difference.
See you next time and we'll also try the food, since we always arrived after dinner.

Definitely recommended!

15/01/2026: I celebrated my sixtieth birthday in December, on the recommendation of a friend of mine who had already been, everything was great, lots of fun, the lunch was delicious, everyone was satisfied, the waiters were very helpful, Nicola the owner recommended a very satisfying menu, I highly recommend it, book well in advance, otherwise the dates you are looking for are already taken.

18/01/2026: I travel often in the area, and Scanzano often offers coffee shops near the entrances. I stopped by chance and found excellent coffee and delicious croissants, even having a honey dispenser instead of sugar at the counter. Well done...

07/01/2026: Highly recommended, lunch on January 5th was excellent. I highly recommend it. They didn't give us a menu with prices, but we had no unpleasant surprises; the quality of the food and service was excellent for the price. Thanks to the owner for the orecchiette pasta made for our baby, they were truly delicious. The ravioli with creamed peppers were delicious, and the cod was delicious, with a very balanced flavor and fennel sauce. Go there, it's top-notch cuisine!
28/12/2025: I'd love to tell you how the food is, but we couldn't even get in...even though the place was completely empty, the owner was getting ready to smoke a cigarette, and the waiters were all folded...it was completely booked!
You wouldn't think they have a welcoming attitude!

25/02/2026: The location is great, but that's about it.
We ordered two paninis, but only one arrived. When we asked the staff why the second one hadn't come, the young employee mistakenly thought we wanted to order two more, indicating problems with both order taking and communication.
Even more incomprehensible is that, despite it being February, the off-season, and with only about three tables occupied, we still waited almost 30 minutes for our food. The efficiency was truly disappointing.
As for the food itself, the paninis were just average, nothing special. Overall, a poor experience; I wouldn't recommend it.

24/05/2025: Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto, angolino delizioso e piatti tipici, tutto molto buono. Servizio impeccabile e silenzioso, peccato...credevo ci fosse più vista da seduti...ma basta affacciarsi che la splendida Matera appare in tutta la sua bellezza.
