06/04/2025: Enchanting place immersed in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy (Irsina) a stone's throw from the historic center. Friendly, friendly and helpful staff. High quality food and drinks, with very careful and careful artisanal preparation. Warm and welcoming environment with attached private room. Recommended are the pastiera in the variant of the Lucana recipe, the Foglia with Chantilly cream and pieces of cooked apple and the classic nuns' tit in all its flavours. On the savory side I recommend the toasts but the piadinas are also not to be underestimated. The toast is well prepared with the right mix of cheese and ham. Both sweet and savory, every little flavor of the ingredients is appreciated. Perhaps five stars will be exaggerated... But personally they are all worth it because it is rare to find friendliness, competence, quality and hospitality in one place.

30/12/2024: After the visit to the living nativity scene, since it was dinner time, we found ourselves in front of the pizzeria and went in, the welcoming and kind owners made us sit down, we took the pizza menu which included an appetizer with cold cuts and cheeses, a pizza, a drink, sweet or coffee at €18 everything was excellent

Fantastic food, unbeatable price (the fixed menu for €18.00 is incredible for what it offers: appetizer, first course of your choice, dessert with drink/wine included!), really kind staff and excellent service, especially the super kind and proactive waiter! The portions are super abundant and above all delicious, I highly recommend it!

19/04/2025: This is undoubtedly the best rotisserie in Policoro and beyond. The quality of the products is very high. The prices are slightly higher than average, but absolutely justified by the quality and care with which they are made. A special applause for the scrocchiarelle, truly irresistible! 14/04/2025: Bellissima masseria fortificata , la più antica della Lucania . Stanza Junior Suite ampia, con un bagno comodissimo e dotato di un simpatico sistema di luci soffuse e cangianti . Tutto da 10 e lode: location, colazione dalla qualità e quantità straordinarie. Ma sopra ogni cosa la gentilezza e l'accoglienza della Proprietà . Il titolare ci è venuto incontro nel parcheggio , accogliendoci nel vero senso della parola . Il soggiorno presso la Masseria Torre Spagnola non è solo un soggiorno, è un'esperienza.... Pochi km da Matera città, vicino al bellissimo Belvedere Murgia Timone (andateci poco prima del tramonto, in modo da trovarvi lì al calare della sera per vedere lo spettacolo di Matera come fosse un presepe illuminato ...) . Ottimo anche il rapporto prezzo-qualità . Consigliatissimo

14/06/2025: already from the outside this place inspires a lot of trust and in fact upon entering you can perceive the familiarity and kindness of the owner. every dish on the menu is extremely inviting and I would have liked to try practically everything but everything I tasted exceeded expectations. here the pistachio is truly and fully felt. I recommend this place not only for the food itself but also for the environment and the treatment that you don't find everywhere🫶🏻

12/07/2025: Very nice place, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. But the highlight is, of course, the meat: delicious, tender, and plentiful. Excellent value for money. I recommend it to everyone and will be back soon.

12/07/2025: The host recommended us to this tavern, which is only 1 minute away from our residence. The price is very cheap, and it seems like a place where locals would eat. The type of food is a bit like a canteen, but it is already prepared and you can get it directly after ordering; it is not like a restaurant where you order and slowly make the food. The taste is still okay. If you want to pursue a better value for money option, if you want to go to a more refined restaurant, this is not it.
