14/07/2025: We spent a truly unforgettable evening at this restaurant overlooking the beach. The location is simply enchanting: tables near the sea, with the full moon reflecting on the water, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar; we immediately felt at home. It was a pleasure to chat with the owner and his wife, wonderful people who exude passion and care in every detail of their work. The food was excellent: beautifully presented dishes, authentic flavors, and generous portions. Each course was served with attention and kindness, and we particularly appreciated the helpfulness and warmth with which even our dog was welcomed. We highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking good food, sincere hospitality, and a breathtaking setting. We will definitely be back!

13/05/2025: During a weekend in Accettura and the surrounding area, we stopped for dinner at this inn. Even though the restaurant was closed, the owner welcomed us with great courtesy and availability. The experience was simply extraordinary. We started with a rich local appetizer: artisanal cured meats, fresh dairy products, pickles and the inevitable crusco pepper. Next, a first course typical of the Accettura tradition: fresh pasta with pepper sauce, tasty and authentic. As a second course, a mixed grill with sausage, goat and lamb: tender meat, well cooked and full of flavor. We concluded with two ricotta-based desserts, accompanied by a bottle of excellent Aglianico. All at a really reasonable price. If you are in the area, I highly recommend contacting the restaurant and booking. It is really worth it!

20/07/2025: It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).

13/07/2025: I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!

25/06/2025: We were passing through, unfortunately it was a negative experience. A decent first course, but the second course based on mixed fish, prawns, cuttlefish etc., despite having assured me of freshness, we found everything on the plate defrosted, tasteless and dated.... inedible. We preferred to pay and not order anything else. We were probably unlucky since others have written good reviews.

Happened for a wedding dinner, I was able to appreciate the originality of this long For the food and service which were excessive and excellent, we must thank the spouses for the excellent choice of the menu. I don't know if they are renovating

31/05/2025: We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance while looking for a place for lunch that wasn't in the tourist area. And luckily we found it. Rustic place, typical trattoria atmosphere, impeccable service. Umberto is a fantastic person who really knows what it means to seduce the customer by the throat. Fantastic pasta, excellent meats, good wine by the glass. We ate so well at lunch that we went back for dinner since we were in Matera only one day. Next time we'll come back

01/07/2025: The pizza is very good but only one person serving the public, managing orders and the cash register is not good. It creates unnecessary waiting. The place is small but clean. It works mostly for take-away or to eat something quickly

06/07/2025: I ordered a birthday cake for my 40th birthday and I found the staff to be very helpful and kind, a tasty and personalized cake with rum soak, orange cream and covered in dark chocolate, I was able to order it 2 days before collection. Excellent value for money. Recommended for those who want to make a good impression on their guests.
