09/10/2025: Baccanti in Matera is a beautiful restaurant set inside the historic caves, which creates a truly unique and atmospheric setting. The food was excellent, carefully prepared, full of flavor, and presented with great attention to detail. The wine list is also very well curated, with many interesting choices that pair perfectly with the dishes. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was affected by the seating arrangements. The restaurant does not seem to pay much attention to how tables are placed in the room. We were seated right next to the toilets and beside a very loud group, which made it hard to fully enjoy the wonderful food and atmosphere. For such a high-level restaurant, more consideration for guest comfort and ambiance would make a big difference.

05/10/2025: AVOID! The worst meal we had in the whole of our Puglia and Matera holiday. The floor around our table had not been swept. Unfriendly welcome, arrogant staff and generally tasteless food, especially for vegetarians. The supposedly warm starters were cold, and I wasn’t given the chance to taste the wine before it was poured. There are so very many better eating options in the town than this place.

15/10/2025: Very nice little restaurant, the lemon spritz was very refreshing. The pizza was fabulous, and the bruschetta was our favorite! We tried a small slice of tart, which was also delicious. Very good service. If you're passing through Matera, this restaurant is worth a stop.

01/10/2025: Delicious food, featuring dishes that rediscover traditional cuisine, explained by the owner, a very knowledgeable and courteous gentleman. I recommend it to everyone, whether celiac or not. If you're passing through Matera, you can't miss it.

22/10/2025: Its a very lovely place if you are looking for easy food. He’s got locally grown food and wine, simple dishes but very tasty. Its an easygoing atmosphere and he asks for easygoing guest who are looking for a feeling like being at home. The owner seems a little introvert and nerdy but has a very lovely and shy character, aiming to accommodate his guests at its best abilities. Ask for the house red which is made by him. It is absolutely delicious.

19/09/2025: Nice place right in the center, excellent food, nothing to complain about. I'd give it 5 stars only if... I'd give it 5 stars if I'd found a girl at the counter who knew how to make coffee or her job of welcoming customers, and not a model. We arrived and asked two questions to eat and sit down... like talking to a well-dressed mannequin... We found ourselves with a beautiful girl, perhaps too beautiful for her place; in fact, as mentioned, she should have a different job. Things weren't any better with her colleague who was waiting tables; she looked like her sister; maybe a little more smile wouldn't have gone amiss. The situation was saved by their colleague, who did the job for both of them (luckily). If it were up to them, the place would already be closed.

25/08/2025: Excellent pizza, light and easy to digest, perfectly cooked, fast service. Excellent value. They seated us at 11 pm without any problems. I Pitagorici is located on the main street of Bernalda, very easy to get to.

03/10/2025: Excellent food, cooked with genuine ingredients. Courtesy and professionalism are always the hallmarks of everyone who works at Invidia Pizzeria. The atmosphere is spacious and welcoming. The takeout service is very prompt. Highly recommended.

24/09/2025: When we came we weren't expecting anything special but it was amazing! We asked for a salad to be made for us, even though it wasn't on the menu, and it was really good! The pizzas were amazing and the gluten-free dough was amazing!

We chose Grand Hotel Villa Cirigliano for our wedding, living in Tuscany, and it wasn't a "dream" but a stunning and wonderful REALITY. Certainly for all couples, the wedding venue is perfect, and every location and reception hall is unique in its beauty, like Villa Cirigliano. But what made the difference for us were the people, the human connection, the sensitivity, the feeling of being at home, among family, and then the preparation, the great professionalism, the kindness, the utmost availability. Here we truly found everything and more! From the first meeting with the director, Paolo Falcone, it was a sure choice, meeting the very sweet Maria Teresa, the host Franco, his daughter Anna, and all their impeccable staff. They were a great guide for us, super available to answer any of our questions, requests, or concerns. "We felt at peace throughout the entire preparations, but that day was truly perfect, thanks to their presence, their preparation, and the immense affection they gave us, carrying out impeccable organization even in places we hadn't expected." Maître d' Pino Toscano pampered us at every moment with his supreme efficiency, ensuring that nothing was missing for us or our guests, with a rare serenity. And last but not least, the renowned Chef Mario De Muro, who behind the scenes conducted a symphony of dishes, carefully chosen for us, that not only delighted the eye, but above all delighted and enchanted everyone's palate, without ever weighing us down, despite their abundance and deliciousness! A huge thank you to all the staff and the wonderful people who made our day unforgettable, special, a day to remember with smiles and love. We recommend them to all future spouses. They truly are a guarantee! They conveyed a sense of security, tranquility, professionalism, and thorough preparation from the first meeting, and it continued to the very end! Other very important pluses for us were the perfect distribution of the areas, starting with the welcome in the beautifully manicured Magnolia Garden for the outdoor aperitif, followed by the spacious and perfectly lit indoor dining/dinner room, and concluding with the cake cutting, entertainment, and dancing in the third area with a spectacular, colorful pool and more. Having rooms available on the first floor for all our guests who came from far away, and the bridal suite, was a wonderful confirmation of our choice.
