20/07/2025: It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).

13/07/2025: I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!

If you are looking for an authentic experience, with typical dishes in a welcoming and familiar environment, here the service is impeccable. A special thanks goes to the cook, a lady who, at the end of the meal, takes the time to come into the room to personally ask if everything went well — simply perfect!

In the charming village of Cirigliano, nestled among the hills of Matera, the restaurant-pizzeria Il Mulino turned out to be a real discovery, a place where the Lucanian culinary tradition is expressed with authenticity and passion. From the first moment, you are welcomed by a warm and familiar atmosphere, typical of the trattorias of the past, where the smile and courtesy of the owners make you feel immediately at home. The environment, well-kept and welcoming, is the perfect prelude to a gastronomic experience that celebrates the genuine flavors of the territory. We had the pleasure of tasting different courses, and each of them told a story of very fresh ingredients and recipes handed down with love. The appetizers, a triumph of local products, from cheeses to cured meats, tantalized the palate in a sublime way. The first courses, with homemade pasta, are a tribute to grandma's cooking, rich in flavor and prepared with skill. The pizza also deserves a special mention: a light and digestible dough, cooked to perfection and seasoned with top quality ingredients. 07/09/2025: I should preface this by saying that I speak as a professional in the industry. As for the food, it was all excellent and the flavors well-balanced. The flaw that ultimately ruined everything was the slow and inaccurate service. 1 I booked and didn't find a table ready, so a makeshift table was prepared on the spot. 2 Our order came 30 minutes after we sat down, and no one came over to ask if we wanted a bottle of water. 3 After our order was taken, the appetizers arrived almost immediately (and it's understandable that they're already prepared, of course, since they require preparation), but the problem was that they arrived before the drinks and bread (the bread never arrived even though the waiter told me he'd get it). 4 The food was excellent, as mentioned above. 5 We ordered a dessert, two coffees, a grappa, and a liqueur, clearly asking if they could bring everything together. However, the dessert arrived first, followed by just one coffee, and then the liqueur and grappa. Having said that, I recommend going to those who want to eat well because the cuisine is truly excellent with contrasting flavors and exceptional tradition, but don't even consider the service because otherwise you'll want to get up and leave.

07/09/2025: If I had 1,000 stars, I think I would have used them all! The warmth of the restaurant, the tasty and authentic food, and the extreme kindness and professionalism of the staff make this place special. 31/05/2025: We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance while looking for a place for lunch that wasn't in the tourist area. And luckily we found it. Rustic place, typical trattoria atmosphere, impeccable service. Umberto is a fantastic person who really knows what it means to seduce the customer by the throat. Fantastic pasta, excellent meats, good wine by the glass. We ate so well at lunch that we went back for dinner since we were in Matera only one day. Next time we'll come back

Il cliente è davvero messo al primo posto e viene attenzionato e coccolato per accompagnarlo attraverso un’esperienza impareggiabile. Questo ristorante è davvero una perla rara.

31/07/2025: Una cena perfetta. Pesce ottimo e servizio impeccabile. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal primo istante sino alla fine della nostra cena. Peccato solo non sia ubicato a Bergamo! Professionalità al top e un'empatia purtroppo ormai sempre più rara nella ristorazione.

17/08/2025: Excellent! A magical place in Matera, nestled among the Sassi. A fairly large terrace overlooking the old town. They have a beautiful private museum carved into the rock; a visit is highly recommended. Very good food with local recipes and dishes. Excellent service. Fair prices.

28/08/2025: Everything was good, except the wait was very long. Two hours for a pizza.

25/08/2025: Excellent pizza, light and easy to digest, perfectly cooked, fast service. Excellent value. They seated us at 11 pm without any problems. I Pitagorici is located on the main street of Bernalda, very easy to get to.

01/07/2025: The pizza is very good but only one person serving the public, managing orders and the cash register is not good. It creates unnecessary waiting. The place is small but clean. It works mostly for take-away or to eat something quickly

21/08/2025: This is the second year we've chosen this farmhouse for our holidays, and we can only confirm our overwhelmingly positive experience. The apartments are always very clean and well-maintained, and the welcome is truly special: Ilaria and her parents are extraordinary people, kind and always available. A place that exudes warmth and genuine hospitality.

19/08/2025: We booked for 12:45, went in, and ordered. At 1:23, it was a complete waste of time. Having small children, we asked if they would at least bring us bread, and in response, they told us that they start lunch at 1:00! After showing that it had been a while, they replied that they would start lunch all at once! In the end, we left at 3:00 without having finished lunch, with the full price paid! Not even a discount! The food takes a back seat after this attitude!
