The grill includes 3 pieces of meat (3!), without side dishes for €12. The appetizer is served in tiny bowls, the ones into which you pour the olives or peanuts for the aperitif so to speak, and costs €12. 2 of us had to request 2 and the chef was visibly annoyed when we requested a second starter. Total price of dinner €67 and we left the table with a semi-empty stomach. Not recommended.
31/07/2024: Very welcoming restaurant and friendly staff. In the town of Scotellaro, Infantino and the masks you can think of having a pleasant break after having immersed yourself in this rich tradition and culture.

13/07/2024: I have known Capatosta for many years and it is among mine
favorite gastronomic destinations for land foods. Tonight, however, I didn't find the flavor of the dishes I knew. Friendly staff, even if, to ask for another drink and finally the bill, I had to get up from the table: an uninspiring solution. At the end of dinner, relax on deckchairs by the pool. I didn't notice any cats
01/07/2024: Good food and service. Unfortunately we will not return due to the presence of a cat wandering around the tables waiting for customers to "pass" him something to eat; considering the prices, which are not exactly farmhouse prices, I wouldn't have expected it, too bad!

30/08/2024: It was my first time in Matera with my family and our friends. We stayed in this structure where our room, at the time, was a house inhabited by a family, carved out of stones. The residence is truly very beautiful and with attention to the smallest details in which all the rooms are carved out of the stones overlooking a small village. The breakfast is excellent where you can find both sweet and savory options. I want to thank the owner for her kindness and professionalism. Thanks, see you next time!!!
24/08/2024: We had a room with a huge smell. I think it was moisture, the mold is also present in the bathroom. The shower did not give much water. The reception was not very accessible, so we did not even bother to discuss it for 2 nights. The sheets smelled really bad and were full of stains. The towels had the same smell and some had holes.
At breakfast the first time I got a burnt coffee (??), the salami and cheese had a strange taste.
Besides that nasty experience, the location is great. Personally, I feel like we paid €100 too much at €170/night.
