16/03/2025: Small restaurant found by chance while we were walking just before dinner. Everything was delicious, the quality of the raw materials was truly impeccable, authentic flavors and the right portions. Friendly and competent staff, furthermore the fillet with Aglianico and black cherry was among the best things I have ever eaten. We made shoes as much as we could! Highly recommended to taste the true flavors of this historically wonderful land!

A refined, welcoming and very pleasant place also thanks to the friendliness of the owner and the staff, who with kindness and friendliness made the dinner even more pleasant.
Highly recommended for anyone
06/03/2025: We went to 900 Taccardi for the first time, and what can I say, a unique experience, good food.
Very relaxing place and soft music.
The owner welcomed us in a kind way and finally gave us a pack of pasta produced by his ancient pasta factory, with a lot of history in his family.
Advised.
We will return with pleasure!

18/03/2025: Best meal of our Italian trip. We arrived in Matera early evening on a Wednesday in March, a day when many restaurants are closed. Osteria San Francesco is a small family-run place, with a calm, modern, relaxing vibe. Excellent local dishes, which you can watch the chef prepare. We were the only guests in the restaurant that night. Lovely service, excellent value. I'd love to go back!

Friendly and professional staff
15/02/2025: Very beautiful and refined location. Tastefully furnished and welcoming. We eat very well. The chef's starter, the spaghetti all'assassina, the butter and sage ravioli with black truffle and the shank are excellent.

Lots of parking but always occupied by residents who live in the area.
Food: appetizers failed, I didn't like the fried foods they offer, burnt and dry. Decent first courses. Excellent desserts.
In short, no too many demands
