Gran Casale delle Gravine In Matera

This restaurant is located in the countryside between Matera and Ginosa. A beautifully renovated farmhouse with a well-kept garden and ample parking. We were here for Easter Monday. The menu was extensive (two appetizers, two first courses, a second course, fruit, dessert, and lemon sorbet). A welcome drink was offered upon arrival. During lunch, the waiters stopped by several times for second helpings, and drinks were plentiful. The dancing space was a bit small, but fortunately only a few people got up to join in. The entertainment was engaging.

The service is excellent; they are attentive to the different needs of the guests, friendly and very helpful, and the service is fast. The food is consumed first with the eyes (the plating is meticulously prepared) and then it is truly, very good. Impeccable organization. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my sixtieth birthday in December, on the recommendation of a friend of mine who had already been, everything was great, lots of fun, the lunch was delicious, everyone was satisfied, the waiters were very helpful, Nicola the owner recommended a very satisfying menu, I highly recommend it, book well in advance, otherwise the dates you are looking for are already taken.
