And what can I say - it was an amazing lunch😍We started with their signature starter dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta with vongole was excellent, the meat was incredibly tender, and the combination of flavors and textures was just outstanding. Bravo! The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere inside was very pleasant. We highly recommend visiting this place👌

12/07/2025: We ordered a mixed antipasto, which we thoroughly enjoyed for its variety and visual impact (the eye also deserves its share). The first courses also delighted our palates. The fusilli, Cruschi peppers, fried breadcrumbs, pancetta, and creamed caciocavallo cheese; the mixed pasta of conchiglioni rigati and cinnamon ricotta calzones with a cherry tomato sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, pezzente sausage with caciocavallo flakes; and the buffalo mozzarella-filled ravioli with a cherry tomato, basil, and caciocavallo cheese sauce were truly unique and delicious.

11/07/2025: The atmosphere was very warm, and we were served promptly without a reservation. The experience is made easier if you're fluent in Italian. The dishes were beautifully presented and exquisite, especially the pasta. We recommend the Verbo wine, which was a very good choice suggested by another traveler!

20/06/2025: Unfortunately, about half of the dishes didn’t taste good. The place and service were up to standard. If you’re particular about food taste, I wouldn’t recommend it. However, if you’re more focused on the overall dining experience, it’s not a bad option — all the dishes were beautifully presented. Good for pictures. Camera eat first ! 😉 About the taste: This restaurant seems to like adding grainy elements to their dishes, such as charcoal powder, crispy minced garlic, and some black breadcrumb-like ingredient. Overall, you often get a mouthful of hard, gritty bits — which feels quite unpleasant. But since you’re in Matera — famously known as the “City of Stone” — maybe it’s all part of the experience. Perhaps they just wanted you to taste the stones too. Also, for some reason, one or two of the dishes were overly greasy, making them taste very heavy and cloying.

09/06/2025: Underwhelming. We had the 7 course with wine pairings. If you go do the 5 course as 7 is a little much. I don't know how anyone could do the 10 course. The wine pairings were good, service was very good but I thought the food mediocre and even bizarre in some ways. Maybe they are trying too hard to be creative and unique. It was by far the most expensive meal we had during our two weeks in Puglia and honestly not even close to one of the best.

17/06/2025: I give 2 stars because the location is very nice and the owner's son tries to make everything work... but my 30th birthday party was a disaster. Starting with the practically non-existent service: one waitress in particular who huffs and puffs and they don't even serve drinks. Dinner started with the appetizer at 10:30 pm🙈 the order of the courses was completely changed without even warning me, the food was good overall, but for the rest we are not at all up to par. They all seem improvised and placed there randomly. The chocolate fountain that didn't work and so they brought heated chocolate from the kitchen and put it in; grumpy and really unprofessional owner. The icing on the cake: DJ (recommended by the place) of unique incompetence. TO AVOID!

20/06/2025: A perfect meal in Matera, with excellent service and spectacular food. We had shepherd's egg, melanzane alla parmiggiana, and a typical Matera salad. Then we had ravioli stuffed with burrata. Everything was delicious. An excellent choice in Matera.

12/06/2025: A nice surprise. We were looking for a restaurant with a view, but we finally opted for this one, and we did well. The veal cheek was succulent. The bacala too, and the orecchiette were delicious. The desserts were very good, especially the ricotta with honey and almonds. In short, stop here, it's fantastic!
