08/06/2026: I was recommended this place by a dear friend, and it was a great choice! We were immediately struck by the location, a spectacular setting with a breathtaking view (they provide binoculars for a better view, including the Swabian castle of Rocca Imperiale). Giusy, the owner, welcomed us, one of the restaurant's strengths: kind, helpful, she recommends and explains every dish perfectly, making you feel right at home. Excellent quality food, excellent value. I recommend the appetizers to try the local delicacies, not to be missed are the frizzuli and orecchiette. The dessert with millefoglie, cream, and black cherries is sensational too! We returned a few nights later. What can I say? Absolutely worth a try!

07/06/2026: Being in Basilicata or Calabria and not stopping at Le Lamie restaurant in Rotondella is a sin worthy of at least a little penance! Missing out Giusi's hospitality, her infectious friendliness, the carefully prepared traditional specialties, and the breathtaking view from the picturesque arches could become one of those regrets that rear their ugly heads at the most unexpected moments. I've been there, and I can say with conviction: if I were to pass through those parts again, I'd already plan to return. In fact, let's just say it's almost mandatory!

11/04/2026: After a walk in the nearby woods, we stopped for lunch at PODUS, and we couldn't have made a better choice! We opted for a selection of appetizers, all delicious, from the homemade cured meats and cheeses to the hot dishes. We could have finished lunch with appetizers, but we wanted to try at least one of the daily specials, so we chose cavatelli with crusco peppers, sausage, and caciocavallo cheese. This, too, was a very good dish, well-balanced and flavorful. Our lunch concluded with two desserts: ricotta cake with almonds and rum-infused raisins, and cream puffs filled with custard. Both were worthy, but I've rarely found a ricotta cake this fragrant and delicate! Superb service, with friendly and helpful staff, who, above all, were attentive to every need. Plus, the menu changes daily...one more reason for us to return soon. It was truly a wonderful discovery :)

09/06/2026: The menu was good, as was the quality/price ratio. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, although there were some errors in serving the dishes... when bringing the appetizers, some dishes were served to another table. Room for improvement.

24/05/2026: Refined and tasty dishes!! Le Gourmet is a small restaurant in the heart of Corleto Perticara. The dining room is small, the service is attentive to every detail, and the staff is very welcoming and professional. It's best to make a reservation because it's always busy. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes; I recommend the carefully prepared seafood dishes. Recommended restaurant.

17/06/2026: Traveling around Lagonegro for work, this was my second visit to this restaurant! First of all, the waiter was truly excellent. He gave advice and made me feel at ease, which is not a given, considering most of the other waiters always seemed to do you a favor. They were very approachable and attentive to everything! Then, the food was delicious. Everything from the menu always arrived impeccably, a feast for the eyes and the palate. Excellent value for money!

15/06/2026: Nice restaurant, the staff is attentive and quickly approaches me to ask if I'd like to eat. Everything is set with white cotton tablecloths, including the napkins. The oil and spices are clean, and the bread is fresh. The seafood salad was very good and not too large. Since I'm traveling by bicycle, I would have liked wine and beer, but I shouldn't consume alcohol. They also have non-alcoholic beer! It's not great, well, it's non-alcoholic, but still better than no beer at all 😜. I also have a plate of carbohydrate-rich pasta. Also delicious. I would go here again.

The space is divided into two L-shaped rooms; the larger one is crowded, while the other is significantly better, except for the table near the internal door, which definitely needs to be eliminated. A bit overpriced, especially for wine: a glass costs €10-15...

10/05/2026: We came from Mexico, arriving in Matera hungry and without a reservation (many places in Italy require one). We went in here and it was fantastic. Even though I come from the American continent where we eat a lot of meat, I can assure you that I ate the best meat of my life at this restaurant—so much so that I ordered seconds!

17/06/2026: The hotel's location is very convenient, as it's close to the highway exit. It's in a quiet, peaceful area, perfect for a post-travel rest. The service is impeccable, with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is excellent, with a good selection of menu items and excellent food. The rooms are clean, not overly large, and furnished in a practical and functional way. Highly recommended.
