03/09/2025: A great bistro. Fantastic food - fresh, full of flavours. Dish was simple but tasted like from upper level. Delicious! Great staff, professional and helpful. Nice view, quite and calm surrounds. My reccomendation!

21/08/2025: Who still wonders if Italy is truly THE country of gastronomy? And if we had to find a restaurant to judge, it would be Il Cantuccio without batting an eyelid! The antipasti are worthy of a taste orgy! The veal cheeks, the pork medallions, the gnocchi and even the rib steak were all sublime! A suspended moment that I will never forget!

02/09/2025: Hello, I'm thrilled to visit this elegant, renovated, family-run café. When I come to Lagonegro with my family, I love the gelato, which my children adore, as does my husband. New, innovative flavors reflect the creativity of the owner, Mr. Andrea, who is always friendly, personable, and cheerful, like his entire family. We have many cafés in Rome; in Lagonegro, a café in the city center is well-decorated, bright, and pleasant, and also offers excellent breakfasts with a variety of croissants. Excellent service, great atmosphere. 10/10

06/09/2025: I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The staff are friendly and professional, and the dishes are traditional Lucanian. Vegetables, meat, and wine are locally sourced. Both the first and second courses are excellent, and the veal, in particular, is so good and flavorful, cooked simply with rosemary. The desserts are excellent, what more could I ask for? Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: The most friendly and lovely people I encountered in my trip. Rocky, his wife and his friend Antonio help us tremendously to organized our trip, this is a nice retro hotel with a nice pool which we didn’t use because we left early in the morning, just bring your car as it’s outside de city center.

22/07/2025: Non capita spesso che aprano solo per te una sala ristorante e ti facciano sentire a casa come ha fatto Giusi, sommelier dell'olio, proponendoti piatti locali e piatti che utilizzano prodotti locali fantasticamente rielaborati. Abbiamo preso le inebrianti tagliatelle al pesto di olive e mandorle (prima di essere degustate, vanno apprezzate all'olfatto), un ottimo roast beef, una commovente torta "fatta in casa" con crema e more e siamo rimasti a chiacchierare sul terrazzo che affaccia sui tetti del centro storico di Colobraro come vecchi amici con Giusi e il suo staff sorseggiando liquore al bergamotto. Grazie dell'esperienza Giusi, grazie per la visita al Museo dell'olio, con la promessa di rivederci presto.

We spent a special weekend with lunch and an overnight stay, plus a fun horseback trek with the impeccable guidance of instructor Franco and his special horses! Thank you, Anna and Franco, for this experience that we will definitely repeat! Highly recommended.

28/08/2025: Delicious pizza 😍 I love the one with creamy potatoes and sausage! Nice place... unfortunately, however, the last time I was there they made us sit outside. We ate and then asked for something else but they made it clear to us in a very unkind way that it wasn't possible as they had to seat other people waiting (a family)... they had probably booked but had forgotten.... We didn't like this behavior at all... in fact, we won't be back again! The only shame is that we liked the pizza... As for the rest, we will definitely find better elsewhere!

27/08/2025: Some dishes were quite well done, while others could definitely be improved. The biggest problem was the arrival of the orders. There were practically no seven of us to eat at once.

16/08/2025: The food wasn't exceptional, the menu could be improved, and the prices were high. €45,000 per person for an appetizer and a main course was a bit excessive.

27/08/2025: Ordered without a menu, big mistake, I took 2 first courses suggested by the waitress and when I asked to know how many portions there were she said one, I took a second course with two pieces of sausage, one sweet and one spicy, salad, a bottle of water, 1/4 white wine, dessert, paid 46.00 if I had ordered from the menu it would have been much less!

17/08/2025: I decided to celebrate my birthday with a seafood dinner. Despite being far from the sea, the fish was delicious, incredibly fresh, and cooked to perfection. I've since returned, and the meat menu and pizza are equally as good. The prices are fair, especially considering the quality. I absolutely recommend it.
