31/12/2025: Excellent food! The service too, aside from the wine served directly by the glass. I'm not sure what I drank, but overall my blend wasn't bad... the pure Aglianico, on the other hand, was a 5--! I'd definitely go back! The chef is truly talented!

27/10/2025: The restaurant is located in the busy Piazza del Sedile, and we stopped for dinner by chance. The somewhat retro style of the place might please some vintage fans. There were two of us and we ordered a pizza and a second course: the pizza arrived with only some of the requested ingredients, while the second course, listed on the menu as "roasted suckling pig with roast sugo" (roasted pork with roast sugo), consisted of two thin slices of pork with an unidentifiable sauce drizzled with balsamic vinegar (it all seemed to have been reheated in the microwave). After asking about the missing ingredients on the pizza, they were brought to us on a separate plate just after the meal was over. Furthermore, despite there being two of us dining, the dishes were brought to us 15 minutes apart, as they had to be eaten "separately" to prevent them from getting cold. Unfortunately, we don't recommend it.

10/03/2026: We dined here on Sunday evening and the experience was impeccable. When simplicity meets quality, the result is guaranteed. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional and you can taste it in every dish. The setting is well-kept and spotlessly clean, but the real plus is the staff: cheerful, friendly, and truly welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

27/08/2025: Ordered without a menu, big mistake, I took 2 first courses suggested by the waitress and when I asked to know how many portions there were she said one, I took a second course with two pieces of sausage, one sweet and one spicy, salad, a bottle of water, 1/4 white wine, dessert, paid 46.00 if I had ordered from the menu it would have been much less!

09/03/2026: Excellent gluten-free lunch in the heart of Matera. We tried the carbonara classica. It was creamy, rich, with crispy guanciale and pecorino. Added a consommé di pescato full of flavor, and finished with a chocolate fondant topped with crushed nuts, served on a slate board. All dishes were very tasty. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with cozy Italian décor and a nice wine selection; tried a local red wine similar to Primitivo. The service felt genuinely caring, like a friendly family business. Most of the menu is available gluten-free, cooked on a separate cooking line in the kitchen.

28/12/2025: While visiting the town of Tricarico, we decided to book a table at this restaurant, ideal for both aperitifs and long lunches and dinners. The professional service matches the expertly prepared dishes served. There's a strong focus on regional recipes and local products; the area is renowned for its cured meats. Congratulations on your decision to serve your guests so well.

27/12/2025: Excellent first courses, unique and beautifully plated, and a well-balanced Aglianico wine. All at a very fair price. An experience worth repeating.

29/11/2025: Excellent gelato shop, made with quality ingredients in rich, flavorful flavors. This is the bar on Viale Roma, which has always been there for decades. The breakfast pastries are also excellent.

18/01/2026: We weren't able to order from this establishment because it was closing time when we passed by, but the courtesy and willingness shown in supporting us/tolerating us by waiting for us outside of opening hours for the Giant Bench stamp were enormous. ‼ ‼ ‼ Certainly poured into their daily work... ❗🏍❗🏍❗🏍 Thank you so much ‼👌🏼❗👍🏼❗

17/02/2026: Sunday, February 15. Beautiful, typical local restaurant. Large dining room, perhaps too crowded, very noisy. The fireplace gave off a pungent smoky smell, but the owner managed to fix it. The dishes were delicious, from appetizers to first courses. One complaint was that the cruski peppers were cold and rubbery, sticking to your teeth. The wait was long, 40 minutes. The sausage between the first and second courses was too salty, but the salad was good. For dessert... the Carnival chiacchiere were rubbery and I think they were fried in lard. Kudos to the waiters, who were excellent and quick, and listened to requests and fulfilled them. A 10 out of 10 for the waiters.

08/02/2026: Came for a nice dinner at 8pm and we were met outside by a nice waiter with a wonderful mustache! He brought us inside and we were given a nice table for 2. Amazing cave-like atmosphere. We had 3 people taking care of us. A beautiful lady (could be owner) explained the wines and we order a nice dry red from her recommendation. Another waiter opened and poured our vino and it was perfect. Then our mustached friend took our order. Started with a nice buffalo margarita pizza - cooked to perfection and delicious! Main course - papparadelle (a bit more narrow than usual) ai fungi porcini- amazing and tasty!!! Also had chittarra ai ricci spaghetti (square) with fresh clams and a sauce that was out of this world!! Finished off with a nice pistachio gelato! All in all a first class A-rated experience!! Molte Bene!! Gratzie!!!!!

13/10/2025: We were a group of 8 people this weekend for the festival in Spinoso, both for lunch and dinner, a beautiful place with lots of greenery, a welcoming place, truly excellent service, the lady who served us was very kind and accommodating in many situations, we returned for dinner because the cuisine is truly excellent, there is an embarrassment of choice between starters, first and second courses, everything delicious, we will definitely be back.

11/10/2025: Super! A beautiful place, surrounded by the mountains of the Agri Valley. Excellent quality food, the meat melts in your mouth. Everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. The prices are very fair and the portions are generous. We were served quite quickly even though it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. Satisfied...I'll definitely be back 🤩

20/02/2026: A truly excellent restaurant; excellent food, fast service, and a truly friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful, well-appointed setting. The pizza is delicious, and you can taste the excellent dough and evenly cooked food. Both the first and second courses are excellent and plentiful, including those featuring exquisite porcini mushrooms and truffles. The homemade desserts are also delicious, and Pizzo Calabro ice cream is available. Prices are definitely reasonable. The staff, starting with the owners, were always available even when I arrived quite late for work.
