Cazzanedda In Lauria

I had dinner with a large group of friends on June 1, 2026. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful and welcoming place. The Cazzanedda appetizer was excellent, as were the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, the cod ravioli with cream, the vruska, etc. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Pleasant place both inside and out. Truly special food at very fair prices. I highly recommend it.

Delicious, compliments to the chef. The service could be improved a little. My guest was served after I'd already finished, but otherwise, it was top-notch.

Friendly, helpful, and the food was exceptional. We went on the recommendation of an acquaintance, and since we often come to Basilicata because I have relatives and a house there, we wanted to try something different. An experience we absolutely must repeat; the food is fantastic, and the owner is incredibly kind. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Agriturismo Cazzanedda after a wonderful day of hiking in Basilicata, and it was truly a pleasant discovery. We stumbled upon it almost by chance, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. The wooden structure, surrounded by greenery, immediately conveys a sense of tranquility and welcome. Outside, there's a large green area with a play area for the little ones, while inside, there's a large room with a very high ceiling, furnished in a rustic style reminiscent of an ancient shepherd's house: a warm, relaxing, and very characteristic atmosphere. We sampled several dishes, and I must say, everything was truly excellent: cod ravioli with chickpea puree and cruschi pepper crumbs, tagliatelle alla vrusca, fusilli alla Ruggero, mixed tagliata with local potatoes and porcini mushrooms, and a selection of pork ribs. The dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, with just the right portions and ingredients that truly conveyed the authenticity of local cuisine. The cruschi peppers, too, gave that typically Lucanian touch that I really appreciated. We finished with an excellent coffee, perfect after lunch. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always available, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. The prices were also absolutely affordable and consistent with the quality of the products and the experience. Overall, a place I highly recommend to anyone in the area who wants to eat well in an authentic and relaxing environment. 🌿🍝

Everything was excellent, especially the meats, which were divine. The wine was spectacular, full-bodied, and of excellent quality. I will definitely be back.

The staff were attentive and friendly, and we ate very well. The first courses were delicious. Perhaps the only complaint was the cured meats, which were good but not exceptional. The rest of the appetizers, however, were exceptional. I recommend them.

Good experience, nice and well-kept place, friendly service (there were few of us in the room), good quality for starters and first courses, sore point the pork parcel, dry, perhaps overcooked, honestly in general, given the reviews and in the past the victory on a well-known program, I expected more from the cuisine even though I didn't eat badly.
