Cazzanedda In Lauria

Our visit to Cazzaneda Agriturismo was a big letdown. We were hoping for an authentic agriturismo experience, but it felt more like a regular restaurant with inflated prices. On Pasquetta, they charged a whopping €45 per person, which felt like a rip-off given the mediocre food and small portions. We were promised fresh farm-to-table dishes, but they fell short. And when we asked for vegetarian options, the staff seemed clueless. The whole payment process was a nightmare too, with malfunctioning POS terminals causing long delays. To top it off, they blasted loud house music, totally killing the peaceful vibe you'd expect at an agriturismo. Even though they were on TV show "4 Ristoranti," don't be fooled – our experience proved it's not worth it. Overall, Cazzaneda Agriturismo disappointed us with pricey food, bad service, and out-of-place music. We won't be going back anytime soon. It might be okay for locals who don't mind sacrificing quality for quantity, but for tourists like us, it felt like a scam.

I was in this farmhouse for Easter Monday, so I certainly wasn't able to fully appreciate its cuisine, but the menu was really poor and banal, certainly not comparable to other farmhouses in the area. Excessively loud and tasteless music. Sufficient service. High prices. Maybe they deserve a second chance but I wouldn't go back.

Very popular restaurant for lunch stops traveling along the Salerno-Reggio Calabria road. It offers typical Lucanian cuisine at reasonable prices in a rustic setting where you immediately feel the family atmosphere. I must say, however, that I was expecting a little more: not so much because of Alessandro Borghese's visit, but because in Basilicata you can eat well almost everywhere. So good dishes, but not very good. The appetizer, with slightly industrial cured meats, left a bad taste in my mouth. Good and tasty Cavatelli alla Lucana, but with such an excessive depth that it almost seems like a stew (here, however, my personal taste takes over, since I prefer to eat it dry). Decent mix of meat: ok chicken, beef and sausage, a little less lamb and rib which were reduced to a couple of bones. Thumbs up for coffee and house wine. Nothing to say about the bill: low prices are the specialty of the house and have not been affected by inflation. Friendly service, but a little cold by regional standards. I have already given top marks even though I haven't been there, but from Borghese's "4 restaurants" program I saw excellent cuisine and a wonderful place!! I will come to visit you even if it is an hour and a half away😋😋😋😍😍

From the farm that professes homemade pasta you expect homemade pasta. the rest is good and whoever welcomed and served us was really courteous and nice

Very nice and well-kept place, excellent Lucanian food!! The educational farm is beautiful and interesting and Domenico, a very kind and helpful boy, takes care of it with passion. I highly recommend it, especially for families with children, to come into contact with animals and carry out various activities

... the victory in the "four restaurants" TV contest was well deserved

Un bravo ad Annarita, chef e titolare di questo bellissimo agriturismo. L’esterno e l’Interno del locale, bellissimo. Tutto curato nei minimi particolari. Veramente bello, ambiente caldo e familiare. Incuriosito dopo aver visto la puntata di 4 ristoranti di Alessandro Borghese girata nel Parco del Pollino che ha visto vincere proprio Cazzanedda. Le bruschette al pomodorino, ai funghi porcini e quella alla scamorza affumicata e peperoni cruschi, fantastici! Anche le pappardelle ai funghi porcini, generosi in quantità, molto buone. Prezzi modici, da agriturismo. Potrebbe tranquillamente avere un listino più alto per la qualità dei prodotti utilizzati. Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere anche Annarita, simpatica e solare chef/titolare di Cazzanedda. Ci tornerò sicuramente, magari con famiglia ed amici.

Da frequentatore seriale di ristoranti lucani, devo ammettere, a malincuore, che in questo ristorante non si esprime il vero concetto di lucanità gastronomica. Senso che si percepisce, invece, in gran parte dei posti da me visitati in tanti anni. Lo dico a malincuore, perchè il lavoro delle persone va sempre rispettato e qui di lavoro ce n'è, il locale è molto bello e curato, però la recensione, se va fatta, deve essere oggettiva e rappresentare efficacemente la realtà. Non vado alla ricerca delle cause, del perchè del per come, ma mi baso sul risultato finale, cioè su quello che mi arriva nel piatto. E quello che mi è arrivato non mi ha entusiasmato. Sin dall'antipasto e via via i primi e via discorrendo. Inoltre per qualche incomprensione, al posto di avere una porzione di scamorza ai ferri divisa in 6, ce ne sono arrivate 6. Alla nostra rimostranza finalizzata al rifiuto delle portate ci è stato risposto: ormai sono state fatte, ve le faranno pagare, tenetevele. Non si tratta del costo delle 5 porzioni in più, ma del fatto che le abbiamo mangiate controvoglia, il che ha contribuito a rendere l'esperienza a tavola non molto gradevole. Ma al di la di questo episodio, la percezione generale è stata di un ristorante più orientato a fare numeri (tanti coperti) che a proporre chicche gastronomiche.
