If you come to Matera and you don't go to Il Fiore del Latte you will only experience it halfway. The owner will advise you and offer the best local products. Excellent prices for very high quality products. The Cacio Cavallo Podolico is highly recommended

Localino dove poter mangiare molto bene a prezzo contenuto. Abbiamo riscoperto i sapori di una volta con il salame piccanti e il caciocavallo. Consigliatissimo!

08/03/2024: Small food store with good sausages and cheeses. But if there's one thing it stands out for, it's for its homemade dishes that you can buy to take away or taste there since they have tables. The opening hours are much longer than those of traditional restaurants, making it ideal to grab a bite to eat if it's past lunchtime or, on the contrary, you want to have dinner very early.

01/04/2024: Refined environment, typical and refined cuisine, all local and high quality products; Impeccable service, kind and attentive staff. A small but welcoming place with furnishings in the typical Matera tuff, both the room and the bathrooms are very clean. The evening view is spectacular if you choose to dine outdoors. Fair prices for the type of quality and service it offers.
