07/04/2026: We came here on Easter Monday and were really satisfied. Everything was delicious, from the starters to the main courses, with quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes. The portions are generous and the value is excellent. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

23/06/2026: What a wonderful discovery in the heart of Pescara. I was impressed by the attention to detail, starting with the dark ceramic container with the personalized inscription that keeps the arrosticini warm. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the presentation of the dishes is truly meticulous. It's the ideal place if you're looking for a welcoming and authentic atmosphere for a dinner with friends. I'll definitely be back.

09/08/2026: We had lunch here on a Monday in August, intrigued by the advert on a popular TV show! We ordered two appetizers: a crostone with marcetto and a frisella with vegetables. Among the first courses were pallotte cac' e ove qui, and gnocchi with saffron and sheep's milk ricotta. For the main course, a scamorza with prosciutto al coccio! Overall, the cuisine was neither good nor bad! The ingredients were good, but no dishes particularly stood out, especially considering we didn't order any meat! I expected something more!

12/08/2026: Spectacular food, everything delicious! The only problem was getting to the restaurant: since Pretoro is a very small town and can only be explored on foot, it was a bit difficult to find our way around. We ordered some typical products: cheeses, homemade cured meats, homemade pasta, and a main course. Recommended dishes: antipasto della torre, ravioli alla ventricella, and dishes off the menu (almost all of them are good). Not recommended: chitarra pasta with duck sauce (not very flavorful).

08/08/2026: It was a wonderful discovery. In a small village of 600 inhabitants in Pretoro in Abruzzo, we discovered the La Torre restaurant, an enchanting place carved into the mountain rock. The staff were very kind and explained the various courses, the dishes were refined with top-quality local ingredients. The off-menu items with seasonal products were also recommended. The trio of desserts with excellent coffee was also top-notch. The quality/price ratio was very, very much appreciated.

27/08/2026: Welcoming and very clean place. The young woman who welcomed us and showed us to our table was incredibly kind and truly surprised us. We started with a tasting menu where we could savor truly delicious and unique dishes. We continued with a first and second course that deserved top marks. The real surprise was dessert, where we were presented with a tiramisu made with cantuccini, not ladyfingers—a 10/10. Special credit, as I mentioned before, goes to the young woman in the dining room, who was very knowledgeable in presenting each course with great professionalism. Excellent prices. Highly recommended.

26/08/2026: I went with my wife and we were immediately greeted by the owner's daughter. The fish was incredibly fresh and the welcome was fantastic. A lovely evening, thank you for everything. We'll definitely be back.

20/08/2026: I highly recommend this experience. We had a wonderful time; we had the appetizer of raw, cooked, and hot fish, and a grilled dish. I must say that the appetizers were already quite large, but we got carried away. Everything was perfect, incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The service was fast and attentive, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

15/08/2026: My husband and I dined at Da Stefano on Ferragosto (August 15th). I can say it's an elegant, refined restaurant that immediately puts you at ease. We then ordered a standard appetizer, which we shared between two of us. It was very rich, with raw ingredients, both cold and hot, and we were already full. Delicious, fresh, and clearly show the research. Then came the mixed grill, with the fresh flavor of the sea, and the fried fish as well. Nothing was left to chance, a good wine selection, and we finished with a refreshing coffee, sorbet, and an iced Amaro del Capo—all perfect. Congratulations, and I want to come back for lunch.

24/08/2026: Every dish is amazing in flavor. Friendly staff, excellent chef. We tried this restaurant on the first day of our vacation and ended up dining there every night for a week! Highly recommended, especially for its value. Reservations are required.

21/08/2026: This has become my go-to in Rocca di Mezzo! A one-of-a-kind restaurant... extraordinary first courses... the baskets filled with cheese and pears with gorgonzola, honey, and walnuts are truly exceptional, the panciotti stuffed with eggplant and scamorza are worthy of applause, and the red hearts are fantastic... the chitarra pasta with duck breast ragù and licorice is mouth-watering... not to mention the appetizers and desserts! It's worth a visit because you can enjoy special dishes made with so much love by the owner Alessia, who goes from table to table throughout the evening thanking all her customers. The service is exceptional. Only flaw? It's always crowded... who knows why!?!?

04/08/2026: Our trekking guide recommended this excellent restaurant serving traditional Abruzzo cuisine, where we had a truly wonderful time and a delicious meal. The convenience of the ample parking was evident from the moment we arrived. The dining experience was excellent from start to finish, with authentic, well-prepared dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. In short, a restaurant that offers top-notch quality at a fair price. 🟢 THE STANDOUT: The cacio e ova (cheese and egg) meatballs are delicious, and I recommend them. The ravioli with ricotta (80% sheep's milk, 20% cow's milk) are perfect. The rabbit was also very good and well-cooked. I also thought the arrosticini were well-made, but we didn't try them. 🟡 THE ATMOSPHERE: A welcoming place with meticulous attention to detail; the bathrooms were also worthy of note, as they were very clean. 🤵 THE SERVICE: Attentive, courteous, and always available service. They make you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. 💰 VALUE FOR MONEY: Excellent. We paid just €52 total for what we ate: the bill was more than fair and proportionate to the excellent quality offered. 🔧 ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Honestly, there's nothing to complain about; the experience was impeccable in every way. 📌 OVERALL: An excellent confirmation of authentic Abruzzo cuisine in Abbateggio. 26/05/2026: Alessandra and her family were very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The property is strategically located for many excursions; we came here on a motorbike, but if we could visit those areas again (which I was pleasantly surprised by their beauty), I would return. An experience worth repeating. The cuisine is very good and generous, and they also cater to those with food intolerances. Thank you!

08/06/2026: I'm in Celano for health reasons. Before being hospitalized, I was curious to try some typical local products, so I searched online for a restaurant. The Locanda della Madonna delle Vigne immediately appeared. Looking at some photos, I was intrigued by the place, so I decided to book. Access to the inn is via a staircase in an alley with a breathtaking view. We were greeted by Mr. Sandro, a very helpful, empathetic, and welcoming person. Sitting at the table, we looked at the à la carte menu, choosing for one an appetizer of mutton skewers with white onion and chickpeas, to say the least 😋 delicious. Then we ordered cured meats and cheeses. I was amazed. 🤩 2 first courses: gnocchi with venison ragù, which were good, but the pappardelle with sausage, saffron, and truffle were a delight for the palate. 😍 Excellent service Beautiful serving dishes, the cheeses served with fantastic fruit pairings. He delighted us with two cheeses that unfortunately I don't remember the name of, but I will always remember the taste 😍🤩😋😋😋. All this including coffee and water, €65. Blessed are you for all the delights we received... Thank you, thank you, I will definitely be back.
