04/05/2026: Spurred by the excellent reviews, I booked this restaurant for a Sunday lunch, and fortunately, we weren't disappointed. The service was impeccable; they know what they're doing. We started with what's called the "house appetizer," which is actually more of a platter of cured meats and cheeses with a few additions, like grilled vegetables and beans. Personally, I find this definition misleading: without wishing to criticize the restaurant (also because it seems to be standard practice at restaurants we've frequented in the area), in Puglia, we're accustomed to a different concept of the house appetizer, generally consisting of multiple courses, both hot and cold, which allow for a broader overview of the local produce. Next, we had maltagliati with truffle and sausage: the homemade pasta was truly excellent, thick (perhaps too thick) and al dente, exactly how I like it. The only slightly subdued note was the sauce; in my opinion, it lacked flavor. For our second course, we chose the arrosticini, the real highlight of the meal: soft, succulent, and flavorful, among the best we've ever tasted. Despite the restaurant being packed, we asked for seconds and were pleasantly surprised when, within minutes, they were served without any fuss. To conclude, we had two homemade tiramisu, both very good, accompanied by their own liqueurs and served directly at the table, although I didn't particularly appreciate them. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent. I would definitely return if I were to return to Abruzzo or even just pass through the area.

13/04/2026: Easter at Tenuta di Sipio has become a pleasant tradition for my family, and this year too, it proved to be an experience that lived up to expectations—if not exceeded. This is the fourth consecutive year we've chosen this place, and each time we're amazed by the quality. The lunch was TOP!: carefully prepared, decidedly gourmet dishes and top-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Great credit also goes to the wine selection, unique and top-notch, perfectly paired with the dishes. A special mention goes to Nino, always extremely helpful, kind, and professional. His attention to everyone's needs—from intolerances (like lactose-free) to children's needs—truly makes a difference and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you!

05/05/2026: I had lunch here with my family. It was a really nice meal, everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and smiling. The quality/price ratio was fair. The place was quiet and clean. I'll definitely be back.

08/05/2026: A classic trattoria... as a trattoria should be (that's a compliment, not an insult). Friendly and helpful staff. The food is good, generous portions, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The cured meats you eat are made directly by them. The house specialty is "vrache di mulo," a first course you can only eat there. If you go during the day, you can also enjoy a splendid view of the valley. The prices are more than fair.

03/05/2026: The Duca degli Abruzzi deserves 10 stars, but it's a shame they can only give it 5! Everything was perfect: spectacular welcome, very nice rooms. For those traveling with little luggage, even the attic rooms like ours are more than adequate. The real highlight, however, was the breakfast: as you can see from the photos, it was simply exceptional. A perfect start to celebrating my 🎂 birthday 😜 Highly recommended 🔝😍

The room was super comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and varied, the hotel was very central, and the owners were very kind. My daughter couldn't wait to come down for breakfast every morning. 24/05/2026: For breakfast, with their Sunday Special Day, we chose their Pain Suisse and Papillon from among the many options. What can I say? They're incredibly delicious, flaky and crunchy. The custard has a delicate and enveloping flavor. The coffee is top-quality. The atmosphere is very refined and bright. We were greeted with a smile and felt pampered by the owners, Michela and Fabio. We then picked up some pastries to take away. The pastry shop offers a wide variety of miniature pastries, and pastry chef Michela gave us perfect advice. Thank you to everyone at Pasticceria Desiderio.

08/03/2026: I celebrated my 50th birthday there. They were fantastic. Among my guests was a nickel-intolerant person who complimented me on how they took care of her. The waiters were all kind, friendly, and attentive. Rocco, Marialuce, and Fabrizio were excellent. The chef, for me, is Michelin-starred; all the courses were tasty, colorful, and beautifully presented. Then there was the hostess, Luana, who was impeccable. I had an additional request for the cake, and she completely accommodated me. She made me delicious mini Pavlovás. Thank you so much for making this day unforgettable. ❤️
