10/05/2025: We were walking around and stopped in for lunch, having found and chosen this restaurant almost by chance based on reviews on the Internet. I really liked it! The food is not only delicious, but also exquisitely presented. Rich menu, interesting interpretations of traditional dishes, excellent service and friendly staff. We will definitely return.

07/05/2025: Already the sign, with this beautiful name, “Terrae Madre”, instantly captures you as soon as you arrive in Pietrasecca. Then you enter, and it seems like you're crossing the threshold of a house, with that very "village" door, in front of which you feel like knocking and asking permission. Despite the refined appearance of the place, you immediately understand that you find yourself in a genuine environment, surrounded by quality wines and homemade jams and compotes, like everything you will taste, bread, pasta, desserts, vegetables from the garden with an unmistakable flavour. The atmosphere that is created and that the owner Luigi himself helps to create, makes you feel as if all the guests belonged to one family. The attention also paid to the children (two were present during our dinner, one of which was our 1 and a half year old daughter) was exemplary. The food and cocktails, mixed perfectly, are a triumph for the palate. Crunchy and tasty bread, vegetables with a strong flavour, juicy and delicious meat that melts in your mouth. Desserts with a unique flavour. Believe me when I tell you that the Crème Caramel had a freshness, consistency and deliciousness that I had never tried before. We can't wait to return to the country to relive this experience of purity and delicacy.

18/05/2025: It is rare to find a restaurant that perfectly combines a typical hospitality of the past with a culinary tradition made with love and quality products. La Berlocca is one of these rare cases. From light but tasty pizzas to typical dishes of the Abruzzo tradition: pallotte cacio e ove divine, pizz e fuje, arrosticini, first courses and magnificently cooked meat. The sheep stew and the thin pizza deserve special mention: a paradise for the palate. Added to this is the professionalism and smile of the staff, especially Antonio who, with professionalism and friendliness, advises the customer on this journey of the taste buds If you are looking for a place to truly eat as tradition dictates, you must absolutely go to La Berlocca

14/05/2025: We had dinner here while staying in Ortona, recommended by the owners of the apartment and we had a great time. We had typical dishes and all in balanced and delicious portions The owner also stopped to exchange 4 words with us My son ate a plate of pasta and it arrived in very short time

30/05/2025: On the port of Ortona, this place, although it has the radio call sign of a police car, is the right choice for eating fresh and well-cooked fish. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer: just the right portions, very fresh ingredients and a few creative touches that never go wrong. Followed by grilled fish cooked to perfection, without burning and above all without flavors covered by too many condiments. The mixed fried fish was also a nice surprise: dry, light and crunchy. The service was impeccable: friendly staff, present but not intrusive, and available to explain the dishes or recommend the wine. By the way, the wine list is well-stocked: local and national labels with a good choice of whites, rosés and some bubbles. The bill is in line with the quality and location of the restaurant.

06/05/2025: Bel posto, informale, caldo ed accogliente, non un bar freddo tipo anni 80, per capirci. Abbiamo preso 3 calici di vino, uno comprensivo di ricco tagliere, una cedrata per un bambino ed un tagliere vegetariano. Formaggi buonissimi ed in grande quantità. Stracciatella, due tipi di pecorino, uno stagionato, squisito, l'altro morbido, altri tipo ricotta dura, tranci di mozzarelle... Salumi, pancetta, cavoli rossi sott'aceto, funghi sott'olio, pomodori secchi, buonissimi, sott'olio, focaccia fragrante, cosa chiedere di più? Abbiamo pagato 40 euro. Considerate che nessuno di noi, dopo, ha cenato perché le porzioni erano davvero abbondanti. Ah, dimenticavo, anche la musica non era affatto male, non le solite cose, orribili, che si sentono in giro.... Ci torneremo, grazie

25/04/2025: In tre abbiamo cenato in un contesto familiare tipico di un bar/chalet di montagna. Proprietario super gentile e disponibile, prodotto seppur in bassa stagione di primissima qualità in modo particolare la carne. Si mangia davvero bene e il prezzo è contento. Ottima carta dei vini. Punto di ristoro davvero unico che garantisce prodotti di qualità.

Menu that satisfies any palate and maximum availability to respond to the guest's needs. Excellent food and very well presented. The same is true for desserts and presented in an artistic way. Correct price. We will be back.
