17/09/2025: Large rooms, with high-quality finishes and a large glass shower. Mountain style with a rustic wooden roof, but recently built. The rooms were very clean and we felt right at home! The restaurant was also good and convenient. Thank you!!

15/09/2025: This is another discovery worth mentioning. We stumbled upon this place purely by chance, while wandering around San Salvo and taking the road to Cupello. Late at lunchtime, we checked Google and it pointed us to this place. The owner, despite it being closing time, hosted us in the practically deserted restaurant, and we enjoyed the special attention. I have to say, I was very impressed with the well-maintained place and the dishes, both aesthetically and tastefully. The experience was beyond positive, and if I were ever in the area again, I would definitely visit again. Also noteworthy is the outside area, which, despite being in the village, has a beautiful view. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. Although it calls itself an "osteria," the prices don't reflect that name, but we noticed this immediately from the first courses, which were more gourmet than osteria-style. For three of us, including several 1/2 portions, we paid €100, but despite everything, we were all more than satisfied with our lunch here.

04/10/2025: We stopped by chance at the port of Ortona for a stroll, and from there, we discovered a whole new world! 🚴‍♀️🌊 We took a bike ride along the coast—despite the somewhat challenging route—and then stopped at the Doppia Vela restaurant ⛵️, right on the port, for a simple coffee. The very kind owner thought we wanted lunch, so we decided to make a reservation for 2:30 PM. We ate wonderfully: everything was delicious, well-organized, and the staff was courteous and helpful. But what struck us most was the attention to accessibility: perfectly accessible bathrooms, a comfortable ramp to enter, and enough space for a wheelchair user. We highly recommend it, both for the quality of the food and the great attention to detail they give to all their customers! 💙♿️🍝

30/09/2025: We arrived at the peak of lunchtime and hadn't made a reservation. We had cycled from Valle Caterina, 25 km away, and looked quite sweaty from the heat. Nevertheless, the owner asked us to wait a bit and even offered us a free drink while we waited. After a short wait, we were assigned a table overlooking the harbor. We ate octopus with potatoes, fried calamari, and swordfish. All the dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted delicious. Although the restaurant was packed, the food came quickly and the staff was very professional.

11/09/2025: On holiday at Lido d'Abbruzzo, practically next to Fiorella... really good A-list arrosticini, but the liver ones were exceptional. The owner, a weasel, was smiling and friendly in the dining room. Compliments, truly clean, friendly environment and lots of authenticity, just what you need. Well done, you and your smiling collaborators...

29/09/2025: A wonderful discovery, a warm and friendly welcome, and authentic food. Everything was delicious: cheeses, homemade pasta, arrosticini, and an excellent house Montepulciano wine. A trattoria from another era! A must-try for us when we're in the area! Thanks for everything.

26/09/2025: A wonderful dinner, featuring high-quality, simple yet refined Abruzzo dishes. Delicious vegetarian options are also available. The saffron gnocchi are a dream!!!

15/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago and hope to return soon. Finally, we can eat traditional Abruzzo food. Homemade pasta, appetizers with local products, and then wood-fired pizza... finally, Roman pizza... the kind where you can eat the crust because it's thin and crispy. We were so full, we skipped the main course, which is why we'll be back soon. The desserts are excellent. If you're passing through Antwerp, you can't miss this place.

The right portions I recommend it to anyone who wants to make a unique day discovering the beautiful villages of Abruzzo.

20/07/2025: We came to Scerni specifically to dine at this restaurant, recommended by a local friend. We made a simple reservation online on a weekday. We dined under a well-ventilated portico. We sampled many specialties: from cured meats and cheeses to traditional pasta, pizza, even mutton and dessert, all divinely cooked and with generous portions. The place is welcoming, the service is attentive and friendly, and the food is excellent. The price is absolutely fair. WORTHY RECOMMENDATION

30/09/2025: I organized a dinner for a large group almost at the last minute. I agreed with the very kind owner on a set menu. Normally, you expect the right amount from set menus, but the dinner turned out to be exceptional. The charcuterie and cheese platters were all excellent, huge, with lots of local cured meats, and beautiful to look at. The mixed focaccias were soft and delicious. And the arrosticini were amazing. The arrosticini are, in my opinion, the best I can remember. I've eaten them in ten, maybe fifteen different places, but these were truly exceptional. The desserts were excellent (someone said they had the best tiramisu ever). I tried both the pistachio and lemon cheesecakes, and I must say they were both excellent. The owners were extremely attentive and extremely kind, accommodating every request (we had a vegetarian in the group, and one person who didn't like arrosticini, who said the chicken arrosticini alternative was also excellent). The bill was truly excellent. What can I say? The 20 other people I was with and I highly recommend this restaurant. It's truly worth it. PS: I apologize for the photo... I was too busy eating... this is just to show that I was actually there ;)

24/09/2025: A delightful evening tasting wines from an organic winery, accompanied by delicious crostoni and a side of fabulous zucchini, especially the raw ones. Matteo is happy to share the recipe, but I already know they're as good as he makes them, impossible to replicate. I also recommend trying their stozze!
