03/06/2026: I celebrated my daughter's first birthday at Villa Basti and everything was perfect. Nicola and Marco are two very kind people who are always available to satisfy every single request. Quality food. Fabulous location.

The food and dishes are rich in expression and flavor. I recommend it for any event. Thanks to the staff and chefs Marco and Nicola... keep up the good work.

11/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. There were eight of us, and we were greeted with truly kind and helpful service. Fast service and excellent food. There was even a friend who didn't eat meat, who was satisfied with the grilled cheese substitutions. The fried pizza and cured meats as an appetizer were truly excellent. The pasta was homemade that morning, and the ravioli filled with tons of ricotta, mushrooms, truffle, and incredibly tender meat. Everything was delicious and at prices that are, nowadays, unbeatable. Above all, we were impressed by the kindness of the manager and the waiters! Thank you so much, highly recommended.

19/04/2026: A strategic location and guesthouse for those who enjoy outdoor activities in the Voltigno area. The manager, Cristiano, is a wonderful and very kind person; he welcomed us warmly and fully met our needs during our short but delightful stay at the Locanda. The rooms are spotless and well-renovated. The ARROSTICINI are TOP!!! 😍

19/05/2026: Spacious dining room. Good pizza. Nothing special.

04/05/2026: Sunday lunch. The place is packed, but they suggest we eat in an alley next to the restaurant, well-sheltered from the sun and city traffic (which is still limited in the historic center). The menu offers local dishes (and plenty of pizzas and pinsas in the evening). The appetizers are excellent and plentiful, even for four people. The first courses are tasty (I was expecting a wild boar ragù in white sauce, but it's still good). The arrosticini are excellent (including the liver ones). Prices are fair. Service is perhaps a little slow (due to the large number of tables), but it's absolutely friendly and attentive. We'll definitely return, especially for its location, just steps from the city's main square.

14/04/2026: A wonderful experience. We're from Bologna and were taken there by friends from Abruzzo. Nestled in the hills, it's a simple yet elegant place with friendly staff. The food is truly excellent, from the hot and cold appetizers to the pasta alla pecorara (which I love but rarely find elsewhere), the grilled lamb, and the arrosticini. The appetizers were already filling, but the rest was irresistible. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to return this summer.

06/05/2026: Lorenzo, and his mother in the kitchen, create a unique home style experience. We felt as though we were being served by a long-lost cousin. He was passionate and attentive all the while being pulled in all directions to take care of all the patrons in the restaurant. The meals were delicious- you will only wish you didn’t get full. 03/05/2026: I was really excited to try a Neapolitan pizza in Abruzzo: as a native of Campania, my expectations were inevitably very high. Unfortunately, however, the experience left a bitter taste in our mouths, and I'm truly sorry to have to write this review. Before ordering, I specifically asked if roasted eggplant was available, and they confirmed they were. That's precisely why I was disappointed when the pizza arrived with fried eggplant, without being informed of the change. Furthermore, both my pizza and my boyfriend's were overly salty; perhaps this was related to the quality or the type of pancetta used, which should be reconsidered. It's a real shame, because the dough was truly excellent: light, well-leavened, and very pleasant. As for the service, I found it rather rushed: my boyfriend was trying to make a request, but wasn't even allowed to speak. In the end, we wanted to order dessert, but no waiter came to the table, and our dishes were taken away without us asking. On a positive note, however, the owner was very friendly: a sign that certainly gives us hope. Overall, a pizzeria with good potential, especially for the quality of the dough, but it could improve on order accuracy and customer service.

20/03/2026: Really lovely restaurant! The owners were so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, highlights were the freshly made warm bread, fettuccine porcini, arrosto misto (with delicious arrosticini!), verdure contorni which was fresh chicory, and finishing off with homemade tiramisu. Having no formal menu was a fun experience and special way to connect with the owner! For those driving, their onsite parking lot made it stress-free to visit, too. Delicious food and amazing hospitality makes this a must-visit every time in the region!

30/04/2026: A very good experience; the service was quick and impeccable. The portions were generous and the food was excellent. One small drawback if you eat on the terrace: cigarette smoke from your neighbor at the next table can be bothersome.
