04/01/2026: La Baita a Scanno is an excellent restaurant to stop at after a day spent in nature. Lunch was delicious and of high quality, featuring traditional local dishes. The arrosticini, in particular, were excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making the experience pleasant and relaxing. It's a recommended place for anyone who wants to sample Abruzzo cuisine in a family atmosphere.

02/03/2026: We went here on Saturday the 28th for lunch, and the experience was exactly what we were looking for: substance and no frills. The Food: Home cooking in the noblest sense of the word. We tried first courses that tasted "homemade" and second courses cooked to perfection, without excessive seasoning but bursting with flavor. The Portions: The portions here are generous, almost old-fashioned. We left feeling full and satisfied, an increasingly rare thing these days. The Bill: The real surprise. Unbeatable value for money. It's one of those rare places where you eat well, and I'd even say very cheap compared to the current average. The Atmosphere: Informal and convivial atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, despite the restaurant being full. We'll definitely be back.

From the attention to detail in the dishes and the customer service, you can tell they put their heart and soul into what they do, so we highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

17/02/2026: In my opinion, the agnolotti stuffed with Chianina beef is a first course that alone is worth the visit. I've got the photo... the other dishes disappeared before I could take any more. I still think about the Black Angus carpaccio, the polenta with berbere, the sour chicory, and the tiramisu: everything was too good to stop and take photos! In any case, I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves carefully prepared dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. And, in my experience, in a snow-covered, sun-kissed location, a lunch like this was worth double!

20/01/2026: I can't say enough about the owners, who are so kind. Luigi is truly a great chef, he knows how to bring a refined soul to the dishes he prepares. We had lunch at Cervo for my son's baptism and everything was sublime, not least the welcoming atmosphere of the new rustic restaurant, which perfectly complements the stunning views from outside. It wasn't your average lunch, it was a memorable experience.

An honorable mention goes to the vegetarian dishes: finally, original, tasty, and anything but predictable options. ​The welcome: The owner is the place's added value. 09/02/2026: Pity we only discovered this restaurant on our last night at l'Aquila. We shared a lovely starter, then had the most exquisite pizza and pinsa ever! A gem of a restaurant offering an extensive menu, not just pizza. Other dishes seemed delicious too! And all at very affordable prices. Very friendly staff and efficient service. Complimenti Nonna Cristina!!

25/01/2026: We entered a little pre-emptively, but we left very satisfied. The wait times were proportionate to the freshness of the dishes. We tried three different starters, each better than the last. But a top score definitely goes to the pecorino carpaccio, which I ordered as a main course, but could easily have been a standalone dish due to the generous portion. Kudos to the entire staff.
