Even though we didn't have the privilege of knowing him, Linda's words clearly convey what a special man he was, the soul of this place, a presence that still lives within these walls today, in the memories, gestures, and the authentic atmosphere that reigns here. 06/01/2026: A culinary experience not to be missed. The restaurant is located in a unique landscape. Accessible entrance. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Traditional and modern dishes. The braised wild boar is recommended. The house-brewed beers are also worth trying. The stout is especially recommended.

01/01/2026: We had the pleasure of celebrating New Year's Eve in this welcoming restaurant. We extend our compliments to the entire staff, both for the unique and delicious food (which, on these occasions, especially considering the number of guests, is never a given!) and for the special attention given to our four-legged friend: when we asked for a glass of water, the owner brought us a dog bowl, with a big smile... Thank you so much, we felt at home, I highly recommend the place!

21/10/2025: We moved to Abruzzo, a wonderful land, and we tasted typical Abruzzese dishes... delicious... well, I recommend you first of all... Ristorante il Setaccio. Fresh pasta made by them is a real delicacy. Plus, the owners are wonderful people.

Whether you eat pasta alla scernese, raviolis, grilled meats with seasoning vegetables (and all the rest in the menu!) you cannot go wrong! Thanks Katja

24/09/2025: We went to this place one evening in September. It's on the beach, nothing super sophisticated, very simple, and I'd say it's suitable for families. The menu, as the name suggests, features mostly fried fish dishes. The prices are in line, neither expensive nor super cheap. The dishes are good and well-balanced. I recommend it if you're in the area in the summer.

23/09/2025: I have been to this restaurant for dinner three times now and each time it has been a great experience. The food was delicious – always fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely flawless in taste. The service was also top notch, kind, attentive and professional, making us feel really welcome. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and relaxed, which makes the visit an experience to look forward to. I definitely recommend it and I would love to go back soon myself!

04/01/2026: La Baita a Scanno is an excellent restaurant to stop at after a day spent in nature. Lunch was delicious and of high quality, featuring traditional local dishes. The arrosticini, in particular, were excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making the experience pleasant and relaxing. It's a recommended place for anyone who wants to sample Abruzzo cuisine in a family atmosphere.

14/01/2026: I went to eat dinner with my family, spectacular food, delicious pizza, an ancient and old-fashioned and very clean environment, the restaurant was very full, we hadn't booked, but luckily they let us in, and I must say that we chose the right place, excellent service, they advised us well, an experience to repeat, I must also compliment the excellent wine, we will gladly return

05/01/2026: Excellent service, friendly and quick, attentive to every request. Fresh homemade food, stellar handmade pasta, and a 10/10 presentation, as well as the quality of the ingredients. Welcoming, clean, and well-furnished restaurant. Pet-friendly, very close to Santo Stefano di Sessanio, a wonderful village worth visiting.

30/12/2025: Excellent experience. Very friendly, kind, and attentive service, with the room management being organized with professionalism. At lunch, the menu is rather simple (presented on an A4 sheet; even a wooden folder with a logo would have been more presentable, but the quality is out of place), and I also found the wine list a bit sparse: small aspects could be improved, probably different at dinner. A note of great attention: there were sanitary pads available in the bathroom, a rare and truly appreciated detail. 🍽 Excellent dishes Saffron tagliatelle with lamb stew: devastating, perfectly creamed. Fried pizza with Montepulciano pecorino and fig compote (I don't remember if it was right) was spectacular: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not at all greasy. 🏡 Not a very large place, with rooms (especially interesting in winter for me): reservations recommended. 🚗 Parking available in front or a few minutes' walk away. 🌄 Fabulous setting and surrounding area. Highly recommended, definitely worth the trip. Well done everyone.

The pizza is extraordinary: light and easy to digest, top-quality ingredients, and always perfect pairings. The arrosticini are spectacular, tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable: Nino, Anna, Francesca, and the entire staff are wonderful people, always smiling, attentive, and ready to recommend the best pizzas based on the customer's tastes. A place that never disappoints, a must-try for anyone who loves good food. Definitely worth a try!
