04/09/2025: With four friends, we wanted to spend a fun day while eating well... and this place exceeded our expectations... very well-kept, clean and fun location (there are only four beautiful rooms, so book in advance if you want to go). The dishes are spectacular: delicious appetizers with refined ingredients, delicious first courses, spectacular second courses of meat and fish, both raw and cooked (see photo). The meats are tender and the quality of the meat and fish is worthy of a starred restaurant... the desserts are divine, the selection of wines and beers recommended by a sommelier and the people are really sweet and kind, ample parking outside, we will be back.

24/08/2025: Stunning location, meticulously maintained down to the smallest details. My wife and I stopped for lunch. The service was perfect, the staff attentive and extremely kind, and the cuisine was top-notch. It deserved 5 stars. The owner was incredibly kind, and the atmosphere was truly pleasant. 22/06/2025: A Beautiful Hotel with Some Disappointments The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful, with charming architecture and a tranquil setting. However, we left feeling somewhat disappointed due to several issues that affected our stay. We specifically chose this hotel for its stunning swimming pool, only to be told on arrival Friday evening that it would be closed for a wedding the next day. While we understood the need to accommodate private events, it would have been appreciated—and more professional—if the hotel had contacted us in advance to inform us of this closure. Especially as we had phoned the hotel earlier that same day to let them know we would be arriving late due to car trouble—this could have been a perfect opportunity to let us know about the pool situation. On Saturday morning, we noticed some guests by the pool and decided to check with reception again. This time, we were told we could stay until 11:30am, which we did. In the end, the wedding didn’t start until much later, and we felt disappointed that our access was unnecessarily cut short. On Sunday, after checking out, we asked if we could spend a bit more time by the pool. Despite the area being empty (it was a grey day), we were told it was reserved for guests checking in later—though check-in wasn’t until the afternoon. We suspect it was again reserved for the wedding party. Given that the pool is a key selling point for the hotel, it would be advisable for them to notify guests in advance if access will be restricted during their stay. The receptionist even mentioned that this has been a recurring issue over the past 20 years and suggested that guests should call to check beforehand. While we understand the challenges of hosting events, we believe it’s the hotel’s responsibility to proactively inform guests if amenities are not going to be available as advertised. That said, the hotel did make some effort to address our concerns. When we requested a complimentary breakfast one morning due to the pool situation, they kindly agreed—and the breakfast was good. The building itself is charming, though our air conditioning malfunctioned the first night and began leaking, but it was repaired promptly the next day. Unfortunately, on the second night, the unit emitted a persistent ringing noise, which made sleeping difficult. On a more positive note, the hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious, high-quality food served in a gorgeous setting. The staff were friendly and attentive despite being busy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Overall, while there were several positive aspects to our stay, we feel the experience could have been significantly improved with clearer communication and more consideration for non-event guests.

18/06/2025: Ho scelto questo ristorante per celebrare il mio 70mo compleanno con la nostra grande famiglia. Sabato 14 giugno di sera. Un vero successo, decretato da mia moglie, i miei 40 convitati e, ovvio, da me. Tutto organizzato alla perfezione, a bordo piscina, in un ambiente che è degna cornice ad un evento che, accade una sola volta....Gentilissimi nel soddisfare le nostre richieste. Ottimo il servizio, molto attento. Passiamo alla cena: ha fattos eguito ad un benvenuto ed aperitivo molto sostenuto. La cena di per sè è stata ottima. Ripeto: non oslo nei miei giudizi, visto che continuo a ricevre complimenti. Ottimi vini e il dolce praticamente assemblato in real time. Poi, un accompagnamento musicale soft, con musica per ballare stile anni '70 a seguire. Siamo soddisfattissimi. Nel frattempo del nostro evento, hanno ovviamente gestito altri ospiti. Conosciamo il Postiglione, e sappiamo che lo hanno fatto con stile e qualità. Bravissimi!

02/09/2025: The biggest drawback I have is that it's quite hot inside (we went in September, so it'll be even worse in the summer), and they only have a small fan. We had risotto and spaghetti carbonara, which were very good, although what we liked most was the cheesecake; it was spectacular.

30/08/2025: Excellent, superlative dinner prepared by people who know how to cook properly without artificiality. In my personal opinion, the pasta lacked a little salt, but I can say that it is one of the places where I have eaten best in my life, and I cook all day for work. I highly recommend it. The staff is kind and above all qualified and understands orders such as cooked meat, etc. I will return as soon as I have the opportunity. Sometimes you still find people who know how to work with passion and without too many frills.

01/08/2025: An elegant restaurant with well-appointed tables and armchairs, complete with lamps, a spacious outdoor area, and plenty of style. The indoor rooms are air-conditioned. We discovered their cuisine and the quality of their wood-fired oven: to start, mussels with pepper, mixed salad, and eggplant parmigiana (fantastic), followed by excellent pizzas, including the Norwegian one with salmon, cod, ortolana, and Margherita. Rich, large, and made with excellent dough. Great prices, thanks in part to online offers, and friendly staff: I recommend booking. We'll be back to explore the cuisine.

17/07/2025: Vom Aperol bis zum Dessert ein sensationelles Erlebnis. Gestartet mit einem feinen Amuse Bouche, gefolgt von drei hervorragenden Gängen. Zum Abschluss ein Digestif aufs Haus und ein kleines Geschenk. Sehr zuvorkommender Service und traumhafte Lage über dem ligurischen Meer.

16/07/2025: Location consigliata da una spiaggia di Sanremo ( ahimè pessimo consiglio). Location tipica di ristorante cinese all you can eat di Milano con l unica differenza in esposizione una bottigliera da locale notturno. Esperienza culinaria pessima ( napulè al porto vecchio in confronto ha 3 stelle Michelin) primi molto basilari e privi di gusto, mare in vapore pessimo. Avevamo aspettative positive siamo usciti molto delusi da non tornarci mai più. Sconsigliato per gli amanti del mare e del buon gusto con prezzi da ristorante e cucina da trattoria scadente. Servizio buono camerieri molto cordiali. EVITATE DI ANDARCI PER GUSTARVI IL MARE! Questa location andrebbe bene per gli amanti dell american bar NON RISTORANTE!

12/06/2025: We were passing through Pistoia, and we went to eat at this establishment for 2 nights in a row, as we found such a warm welcome and delicious, very affordable food. We had to return to France a little hastily without having greeted and thanked the 2 people who welcomed us so pleasantly. This message is dedicated to them. We hope to return to Pistoia and will be happy to come to this establishment.

07/08/2025: A regular stop almost every day: this bar on Via San Martino, where delicious sandwiches, tasty lunches, and perfect breakfasts will happily accompany you through the day. The staff is always friendly and welcomes you with a positive energy that makes all the difference. The food is good, the price is right, and you immediately feel at ease. Highly recommended.

29/07/2025: I often go to this bar for a break or to do some light work on my computer. What can I say? Everything is perfect: the area is super quiet and just a stone's throw from the city center; the service is excellent, very friendly and attentive; and finally, the quality of the food and drinks is excellent (I recommend the ice cream, delicious!). In short, an oasis of tranquility in the center of Pisa, where you can relax but also find the right concentration for work. Highly recommended!

10/07/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant on May 1st. The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. The mixed raw seafood was incredibly fresh and the portions were generous! Definitely worth returning!
