"Simplicity is enchantment"—this phrase seems to have been coined specifically for this place. Simple, beautifully presented dishes and top-quality ingredients manage to amaze you. I waited to write a review; I wanted to make sure the "wow" effect would recur every time I tried the dishes from the "halfway point," and I'd say they succeeded: a top rating. Small, welcoming place, friendly and knowledgeable staff. If I really had to find a flaw, it's the lack of an English menu, but that's an easily remedied detail.

A welcoming little place in the centre of Livorno. You will find home-made cuisine, traditional dishes, well-cooked, smiling and polite service, honest prices. Excellent for a lunch with friends. If you fancy something simple and honest, we will be back to try other delicacies.

A quaint seafood restaurant where we were warmly welcomed. The food was good and plentiful. Mr. Giovanni introduced us to ponce, a typical Livorno dish to finish off lunch. Ponce, a 10/10.

We stopped at this restaurant in Livorno's Venezia district almost by chance and were thrilled. My wife has been a chef for many years, and I'm in the business myself, and we have to compliment everything: the food, the service, the ambiance, and the truly fair prices. We definitely recommend it.

13/05/2026: I tried this restaurant by chance during a business trip, and it was a pleasant surprise. The menu consists of a few interesting dishes, and a good variety of red and white pizzas. The interior is small, with just a few tables, but quaint. The quality is good, and the service is courteous and fast. The quality/price ratio is fair.
05/05/2026: 5 stars, you know, not just for the sake of it, but honestly you deserve them because we ate very well and some new things... The service was very very professional and everyone was nice... I ate the anchovies which were really very good but above all I ate the cacciucco tortelli with the prawn tartar on top, my goodness my mouth is still watering, congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 but also the rest, the Cinta sauce was very good, the fried food etc... WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN ✌🏻😜

03/05/2026: A restaurant serving traditional Livorno cuisine, such as cacciucco (excellent with garlic bread...and lots of delicious fish, even with the bones, which add flavor)...delicate Livorno-style cod...and a Livorno-style punch made to perfection!!!! Friendly and helpful staff...attentive service that pampers the customer (the disposable bib is wonderful, so you can eat the CACCIUCCO in peace). Very fair prices Truly traditional and welcoming atmosphere Monika served us impeccably We'll be back
