13/07/2025: Excellent culinary experience at this location. Not only is the food excellent (from appetizers to main courses, all the way to desserts), the staff is also very courteous, kind, and attentive to customer satisfaction. I went to this restaurant in Milan last night and was pleasantly impressed. The meat particularly impressed me😋. The price was fair for what I ate. The only downside was the beer. I ordered a medium Weiss, but found it a bit too bitter (personal taste). Otherwise, everything was excellent. Highly recommended.

13/07/2025: We've been customers for several years, but our last experience wasn't a positive one. After they brought us cold appetizers, 1 of the 7 main courses arrived, followed by the hot appetizers. The other main courses didn't arrive at the same time...they arrived far apart from each other. The quality of the food was also lower than our previous experiences. It's a shame...we had high regard for the place, but now we're undecided about returning.

16/07/2025: I chose this restaurant on the fly without a reservation. I was immediately greeted warmly and was very helpful. The food was very good (a revisited capon magro is a must-try). Mrs. Martina, a young waitress, was a real surprise. She took impeccable and discreet care of me. Her descriptions of the dishes were full of passion and detail. The service was all about kindness and a smile, which I greatly appreciated. It's worth a visit, and I'll definitely be back.

13/07/2025: I was looking for a place I used to frequent years ago and remembered the food was good. Alas, it's no longer there. Only by chance did I discover that the old "Trattoria" has only changed its name and location. Today it's "Il Porticciolo" with a splendid terrace overlooking the lake. The pizza is still the same, very good, one I remembered. I'll be back to see if the restaurant has retained its former quality.

24/07/2025: Very charming place with rustique italian food. Interiors are toned down with original details. Attentative service, great wine pairings. Menu is quite straightforward, food of high quality but the wines are the main attraction at this venue. Charming owner.

27/07/2025: Nonostante la grande affluenza di clienti, organizzazione davvero efficiente. Servizio effettuato con rapidità e cortesia, camerieri sempre puntuali e gentili. Pizze buone e ben fatte da una coppia di pizzaioli instancabili. Esperienza soddisfacente, anche tenendo conto del fatto che c'erano sempre file di almeno venti persone in attesa e nonostante questo tutti i clienti avevano modo di cenare senza attendere troppo. Un funzionamento da orologio svizzero. Bravi tutti.

14/08/2025: The worst pizza we ate in Italy, no complaints. The seafood was weak, it made me sick. The service was okay, and the location was good. Those are the only positives.

04/07/2025: Wonderful lunch. 41° in Este today, so the cool and calm interior of Le Strie was a very welcome discovery; the quality and imagination of the food was more welcome still. Primo: Bigoli with "corte" ragù (made from roasted white meats) which was subtle and delicious with a crisp glass of Manzoni Bianco. Secondo: Local chianina beef sausage with charred spring vegetables. Robust flavours, beautifully done and really satisfying. Heartily recommended!

12/06/2025: We went with our local friends to this beautiful little restaurant. Almost sophisticated atmosphere, not so big but very welcoming. It gave the impression of being very expensive because everything was very well-kept. We ordered two lasagnas with ragù di corte which were fabulous, the goodness of homemade, a spaghetti with pesto that our friend really appreciated, and the cold cuts and cheeses board that my husband ate... very rich, very well presented. I then chose a plate of vegetables... well-picked, all lined up, simple but exquisite; then two desserts that I didn't look at too much because otherwise I would have wanted to order. Despite the idea I had made, we paid the right amount... excellent quality/price. Genuine products, the service, I would dare say almost obsequious. Professionalism is at home. Congratulations.

15/08/2025: Tip for those arriving by car: when exiting the highway at Falerna, don't follow Google directions for "Contrada San Pietro." It's better to reach the restaurant by passing through Falerna Marina and continuing on the SP97, a simpler and smoother route. Antipasto di sapori calabresi: an explosion of authentic flavors. A must-try! The ravioli are also worth a try.
