02/10/2025: I visited Pasticceria Sensi in Assisi and unfortunately had an unpleasant surprise. A "rocciata di Assisi," a croissant, and a piece of plain pastry cost me €9.00. My greatest disappointment isn't the quality, which I actually believe to be very high, but the final price and the lack of transparency. I noticed that the prices weren't displayed. The asking price didn't seem justified given the type and quantity of products purchased. I believe that practices such as the lack of price display and the perception of tourists as a source of easy money ("chicken to pluck") damage the image of the artisanal sector and don't at all reflect the welcoming spirit of a city like Assisi. It's a real shame that such an excellent quality product is accompanied by such a poor purchasing experience in terms of fairness and transparency.

29/10/2025: Highly recommended! A family-run trattoria with a warm atmosphere, just like the ones I used to go to with my parents when I was a child. Dishes that taste of Florence and Tuscany, all delicious in their simplicity. The welcome is top-notch: you feel right at home, and even better!

26/10/2025: My husband and I recently visited Trattoria Gigi for dinner. The atmosphere is authentic. The food is extraordinary. Service is impeccable. Be aware you need reservations. We were very lucky to get reservations for the same evening. The servers were attentive and courteous. We ordered their house cabernet, a salad, carbonara, and steak filet with truffles. The carbonara was excellent. It wasn't pasty like some can be. The best I experienced. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely beefy with a truffle crust. He finished every bite. The chocolate truffle for dessert was to die for. This restaurant is a MUST for anyone visiting the area. You may arrive as a customer, but you leave like family. Looking forward to our next visit.

08/10/2025: Sara, Paolo, and the entire staff do everything they can to pamper their customers with top-quality products. We've been loyal customers for almost a decade because the pizza is a guarantee (at that price, it melts in your mouth), and the seafood menu offers quality dishes. This evening we had meat dishes. I must say, everything was delicious: mixed bruschetta, potato gnocchi with pecorino cream and zucchini flowers (excellent balance), tortello with butter and sage and toasted almonds, beef meatballs with cacio e pepe (excellent), and bombette with Tuscan prosciutto and creamy Tuscan cheese. Excellent wine list (local). Well done everyone! 👍👍👍

08/10/2025: If you're looking for authentic, innovative, and heartily cooked Italian food, this is the place to be. We had lunch there, received a warm welcome, and excellent advice. And the food was delicious. We'll be back next time we're in Bolzano.

16/10/2025: Out of season, the menu is weak, and the prices are seasonal. The Caesar salad is so small for 14 euros that it should be served as an appetizer. The Coperto is also seasonal, 3 euros per person. It's a bit pricey, though.

We will return, eager to embark on another culinary journey of deliciousness and quality.
