08/11/2025: Fantastic place!! The food is excellent, both the pizza and the pasta dishes. Perhaps the only downside is that the fried food is sparse and frozen, and not top-quality. Otherwise, the prices and the generous portions (which is why I go there often) are great. I hope they stay that way!

Enchanting place... a regular stop for us when we come to Verona... on the first hill, wonderful view... beautiful rustic-style structure with exceptional, polite, professional and helpful staff. Food suitable for all varieties and local products and also wood-fired pizza.

15/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, right on the beach with excellent gluten free choices. They were quite busy so it was a little hard to get a waiters attention but they were sweet enough when we did, and we did fine with the english/Italien barrier. The food was superbly made, I would definitely come back.

10/09/2025: I'd go and eat here every day of the week if I could. Everything about Ba' za Bo is to my liking from the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant, to, and above all, the food. Anna, the proprietor and her family Paolo and Silvia all make sure that you're dining experience will be unique, flavoursome and not too costly.

10/11/2025: A typical Roman trattoria with a historic atmosphere, excellent service (the staff are really quick, kind, and courteous, with a big smile). The menu is varied, not just traditional dishes, offering the perfect choice if you don't always want to rely on the classics. The portions are generous, and prices are moderate. The house wine is good. Found it by chance while staying in the area for lunch, and was very pleased with the welcoming, quiet place, the service, and the food.

06/11/2025: In my 4 days in Rome, this was one of the best restaurants I tried. The price was reasonable, and I recommend it. A bit noisy, but Rome is noisy 😉

03/11/2025: I went for dinner with a group of friends a couple of weeks ago and we were really pleased. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very nice; we had a few laughs. We definitely recommend this place if you're craving good pizza: it was truly delicious! A must-try.

16/10/2025: August 19, 2025. First time in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, fate led us to this special trattoria for a few days: "IL BRACIERE." As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with sincere and warm smiles that lasted throughout the entire meal. For appetizers, we were delighted by a varied platter of local cheeses accompanied by a delicate jam. For the first course: "Fresh pasta squares with sausage." The texture of the pasta, wrapped in a delicate sausage sauce, was astonishing. "The risotto...", whose name, alas, I don't remember, was a delicate and enveloping cream cheese velvet. For the second course, an amazing "Mixed grill" of meats with bold flavors. Finally, a superb "Panna cotta ai futti di bosco" and an exceptional "Tiramisu" concluded our gastronomic experience in the enchanting Gressoney-Saint-Jean valley with a truly sweet touch. We'll be back soon...!!! ...

05/10/2025: Bad experience, the waiter was very kind but otherwise a big disappointment. Polenta without salt and reheated, cheese risotto and cheese platter of low quality, compared to the service and the food the price was exorbitant, we will definitely not return.

01/11/2025: They use mostly mass-produced ingredients, practically nothing homemade. The pizza dough is too thick, and the pesto tastes like it's packaged and not freshly prepared. All the mushrooms they use are canned. The price is a bit too high considering the quality and quantity of ingredients I found on my pizza. Furthermore, in my personal opinion, their pizza has too much crust, actually too much crust. The level of courtesy of the person who served me left much to be desired. The pizza was poorly divided into pieces, it tore completely, and all the toppings fell out. One point to note, and not least, is that they save a lot on napkins, which I didn't find in sufficient quantity inside the bags and packages of the products I ordered for takeout.

20/10/2025: Calling this place a trattoria is lowering the standard of what is actually very good. As a place and especially the food. The prices aren't like those of a trattoria, but they're still fair for the setting... which is not easy to find. Very good.
