Delicious local Italian-Japanese fusion cuisine. The only downside was the awkward forks and cold plates. Impeccable service. I recommend it.

Exceptional quality of ingredients and preparation: it's truly difficult to choose a dish we enjoyed the most, but the uramaki "sgagliozza" definitely deserves a special mention. Attentive and welcoming service!

The takoyaki were the best I've ever eaten, good to die for 😍🤤 The location was small but cozy and characteristic, the chairs were a bit uncomfortable though. Very kind staff. The meat was very good and tasty, and also the Japanese beer.

29/05/2025: I had eaten there before but this lunch today was terrible service without a constant change of fish and dishes often only black dishes, that is, the most expensive ones some that have been around for a long time have become inedible so much so that I sent them back including the steamed ravioli that are hard and cold just to say that, for the price they have, the quality should be excellent not to mention the staff, not very polite while I leave the table, I try to collect my things but he intervenes preventing me from leaving I point this out to him, he responds with arrogance and indifference I suggest to the gentlemen owners of Basara to choose the staff more carefully. 90 euros 8 small plates and a bottle of water!!!! THE FOOD IS A SERIOUS THING alas, it's just fluff

24/07/2025: Excellent place: a short menu (which is a plus), but it offers plenty of choice, and each dish is decidedly good and surprisingly light. The food is prepared very quickly: within 10-15 minutes of ordering, we were already eating. My first ramen experience couldn't have gone better! Recommended.

30/06/2025: I had high expectations but I was disappointed. The quality of the fish is good but the problem is the size of the pieces. The rolls are so big that they fill me up quickly, making it impossible for me to try more dishes and try more flavors. Also on the official website through a coupon you are entitled to a free sorbet but once I requested it I was told that they no longer do it. Update the website!

29/06/2025: Excellent choice and convenient service thanks to ordering through the site. The only flaw is the lack of clarity in some dishes that the staff can hardly clarify due to their poor knowledge of Italian. On the other hand, one of the best ayce in Cagliari

23/08/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant where we were greeted wonderfully! The waiters were very friendly, the sushi, although not exceptional, was still good. The service was TERRIBLE. Our dishes arrived and the table hadn't been set yet, and the glasses were still warm from the dishwasher!

06/08/2025: When you walk in, it seems a bit plain, but the sushi selection is excellent, and the quality is especially good! The waitress is super friendly and speaks good English. A big surprise is the cozy courtyard where you can sit—very nice!

05/08/2025: The service was great, and the girl who served us was very friendly. The price was okay, as was the sushi, but we would have preferred larger sushi and perhaps a better selection, as there wasn't much to choose from and the sushi pieces were quite small.

12/07/2025: It's not a big place so it feels cozy and relaxed. The food is delicious and there's a good selection. The kitchen is open and you can't see the whole area from the restaurant but there's plenty of parking. The service was great as there were only two girls in charge and they were very nice and friendly. [Laughs]

It's the perfect place to discover and appreciate typical dishes from another culture, with a variety of options that fully meets your expectations. I loved every dish I tried; they were well-crafted and, above all, delicious. The presentation was captivating, and the flavor was incredible. The service was courteous and fast, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who were able to explain the dishes and offer expert advice. The location is beautiful and quiet, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was very kind and helpful, doing everything they could to make our evening a memorable one. We'll definitely be back!
