28/08/2024: Ho cenato con la mia famiglia, il locale era stato consigliato dall’hotel dove alloggiavamo. Cibo ottimo, buone le materie prime, personale disponibile e gentile, menù con ampia scelta. Locale caratteristico, ex cantina, vicinissimo al centro, molto comodo per il parcheggio. Consigliaitissimo.

21/11/2024: I went yesterday for the first time and will go back again. Beautiful environment, very private and well arranged tables. The staff is courteous, helpful and smiling. The owner knows how to put the customer at ease. Last but not least, excellent cuisine, wines, desserts and prices. It must be visited.

31/07/2024: Nice to come across places like Dal Piciul by chance, finding it on our route. Very kind owner and staff, starter (beef for me and salmon for my girlfriend) and first courses (cold broth and tortelli) super tasty. To close, an excellent tiramisu. Very nice and welcoming place. I hope to be in these parts soon otherwise I'll wait for you in Amsterdam ;)

28/07/2024: We found this place by chance, going to visit the nearby Corniolo lake. The staff was very kind and welcoming, even though we arrived near closing time and without a reservation. Exquisite food, menu written in a very fun and evocative way, beautiful and refined environment. Kindness, quality and hospitality will definitely make us return for a second visit.

16/12/2024: Visitando San Daniele, fra le viuzze del centro storico, si nasconde questa osteria friulana dai sapori autentici. Inutile esaltare la bontà del prosciutto e dei tagliolini! Merita provare anche la trota friulana. Ottimo il salame all’aceto con cipolla e polenta. Davvero un pasto eccezionale e un tuffo nella tradizione!

15/12/2024: Watch out for children! Table of 25 people, including 8 14-year-olds who ate ONLY 2 platters of raw ham (and I repeat 2 platters in 8, not 2 platters per person) 1 5-year-old child.... still paid the ENTIRE fixed menu of 25 €. FOLLY! It's a shame because all the raw materials are very good and the environment is very pleasant..

11/12/2024: Typical and rustic restaurant in the center of San Daniele, a stone's throw from the hospital. Excellent freshly machine-cut ham. The side dishes of mushrooms, artichokes, goat cheese and cheese are good. The bread not suited to tasting ham or other cured meats, too dry and crunchy. Nor the packaged breadsticks which do not pair well with San Daniele. There is no real menu, the bill is totally unknown, reaching prices above average and not in keeping with what is offered. We were a group of 15 people, two days in a row there for lunch, fixed price of €20 each.

04/12/2024: Good choice of wines, accompanied by quality ham. Well-kept and welcoming environment.

01/12/2024: Nice place, classic tavern. The raw food was good, but the pickled vegetables were cold from the fridge and the €7.50 was a steal. The grilled ham looked like it had just been taken out of the cheap plastic packaging you buy at the supermarket. The crouton of warm bread buried in salty lard, cold from the fridge, too, €4 is a steal! The bread and breadsticks were cheap. Cover charge €2.5 no comment. If you want to stop, limit yourself to the raw dish with a glass of wine. For being in the center of San Daniele it was a disappointment paid dearly.

01/12/2024: For years a point of reference for the quality of the cuisine and the attention to the offer of gluten-free dishes. In addition to the menu proposals, we always appreciate the refined environment and the friendliness of the owner and staff.

11/11/2024: I don't know about the rooms, but from what I hear they are wonderful, the food is excellent and as for the classic wine at the bar it is the least expensive in San Daniele and it is top. El paron le salvadi ma le un touch of Pan.
