The environment was clean and very well-maintained.
Excellent food! I highly recommend the experience.

It looks like a village bar, but in the back there's a well-appointed dining room. Friendly staff.

03/12/2025: My compliments to the entire staff! Thanks to you, my dad and I were able to experience a perfect father-and-son evening. The tagliolini were sublime, as were the mixed antipasto and chocolate cake. All this in a truly peaceful oasis, extremely welcoming, and with incredibly kind staff. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who wants to enjoy the food and wine of San Daniele del Friuli! Highly recommended!

08/01/2026: Delicious osteria, the ham was very tasty, the pasta with poppy seeds and ham was exquisite, highly recommended.
05/01/2026: Discovered this restaurant by chance in San Daniele del Friuli. The prosciutto is a must-try, and the tagliolini are spectacular; I'd go back just for that. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it's a bit small, so I recommend booking.

09/01/2026: La Tavernaccia is very welcoming, with a fireplace lit as soon as you enter. There aren't many seats, so I recommend making a reservation.
The cappellacci and fettuccine were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The classic frico and polenta dish was delicious and delicate in flavor.
The appetizers were all of excellent quality, but I expected a little more prosciutto for the price of the "tavernaccia platter."
The staff were super friendly and, above all, very helpful and friendly.
Overall, an excellent dinner, highly recommended!

Excellent Ramandolo, sublime Verduzzo.
San Daniele remains a one-of-a-kind gem, and its DOCG prosciutto deserves UNESCO World Heritage recognition. For these things, I declare myself absolutely anti-global. Long live Italy, an extraordinary food and wine paradise.

31/01/2026: We arrived in San Daniele by chance and stumbled upon this restaurant as soon as we parked our cars. The atmosphere is lovely, clean, and welcoming, with a central fireplace lit, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff is friendly. We really wanted to try the much-vaunted local prosciutto, and it was much appreciated—exceptional! Afterward, some friends ordered the cheese frico with polenta.
Not everyone liked it because they thought it was too toasted, which is probably due to the recipe.
A few others and I ordered the tagliolini with radicchio, and here, we were completely satisfied!
A good red wine accompanied everything! The price was fair and honest.
Great and professional!
26/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to go there for an aperitif and a snack, and when the fireplace is lit, it soothes my heart. A lovely place with good food.

14/12/2025: I'm writing without any intention of controversy, but simply because, reading the manager's comments, I see that they're very intelligent and attentive. Arriving at a restaurant at 8:30 PM and having to pick up your order almost half an hour later makes you feel a bit "abandoned," especially since the dining room was only half full.
Even though the maître d' apologized because he was busy with a complicated quote with other customers at the register, the wait didn't make me feel welcome.
07/12/2025: A refined and original atmosphere. Excellent service. I really enjoyed the food, from appetizers to dessert, with many seasonal dishes, tasty and refined. I had a wonderful evening. I also appreciated the good music in the dining room. The price was more than fair for the quality.

The atmosphere is a bit dated and unfortunately dimly lit. The ladies who served us were very kind, but the lady—I think the owner—at the cash register was a bit too serious...
06/01/2026: Truly excellent pizza!!! Soft dough but still crispy and light, generous toppings, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Overall, highly recommended, we'll be back!!!
