30/09/2025: Well, it was raining and we were glad that the pizzeria was open for lunch. Before we could even look, we were invited in. We had to decline the boss's attempt to sell us the best fish in Italy, as he put it, because we really only wanted a bite to eat. We ordered a large beer, but this ended up being a 0.25. The pasta and pizza tasted okay, but nothing more. The pizza was almost cold and the crust had been crispy for maybe a quarter of an hour before. I've had better toppings on the pizza, especially since the mushrooms weren't fresh. As for the bill, it was more than reasonable. The small beer, however, was billed as a large one. We wouldn't recommend it here.

30/11/2025: Every time I return to Gorizia, I happily return to the Mediterraneo. A truly high-quality restaurant. Specialty seafood dishes and Neapolitan pizza, perfect service.

21/06/2025: Great pizza, if someone happens to pass through this city like me, I recommend stopping by. One of the two people knows English but that doesn't cause any problems. Additionally, the menu is on the wall so you could probably even communicate with sign language (the average person would understand the names of the pizzas and ingredients)

07/10/2025: We arrived as two families (4 adults and 2 children) on Sunday around 6 pm just for an aperitivo. Total bill: €50. And, I repeat, a bowl of chips and a bowl of taralli. My son goes to the waiter and asks if (after the second round) we could still have chips. They refused, saying they were out of chips. A rather sad response, especially given to customers who were, in fact, eating. Disappointing. Very nice atmosphere, but given the treatment we received, I obviously don't think we'll be back.

06/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming restaurant. I had a truly remarkable braised cheek. The service was fast and attentive. The breadsticks they brought with the bread were truly extraordinary; I could have eaten 200 of them.

30/10/2025: Reservations... a must on weekends. We immediately settled in and started with a platter of fresh but super-flavorful prosciutto. A nice bottle of local white wine, of course, at a more than fair price. The selection of dishes was limited, but we found something for ourselves. A lively place, with cheerful management. A good meeting point.

28/10/2025: During our journey through the splendid wineries of the Collio Friulano, we had the pleasure of discovering this wonderful osteria immersed in nature, just steps from the Slovenian border. 🌿 A typical, welcoming, and well-kept farmhouse, with ample parking and a relaxed atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. We were greeted with kindness and professionalism by the host, who guided us through the selection of dishes and wines with great knowledge and passion. We began lunch with a truly excellent appetizer: crostini with excellent cooked ham and a light sprinkling of fresh horseradish—simple yet authentic and perfectly balanced. This was followed by a knife-cut beef tartare with caramelized onion compote and black garlic mayonnaise: the freshest, highest-quality meat, an elegant and delicious dish. On the host's recommendation, we paired everything with a very fresh Chardonnay from Cantina Livon, the perfect companion to a lunch that encapsulated all the essence of Friuli. 🍇 For our first courses, we chose tagliolini with San Daniele ham and poppy seeds, tasty and delicate, reflecting the local tradition. I opted for the traditional Cjarsons with sage butter and smoked ricotta: a signature dish of Friulian cuisine, expertly prepared. The aromatic filling, the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the thin, well-rolled pasta make them, without exaggeration, the best Cjarsons I've ever tasted in Friuli. Sincere compliments to the chef! 👨‍🍳 Osteria Vineria Vencò won us over with dishes that reflect the tradition, passion, and authenticity of this splendid land. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, the staff is kind, helpful, and attentive: every detail contributes to making the experience pleasant and memorable. With a more than fair bill and a homey atmosphere, we left this place extremely satisfied, promising to return. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for their hospitality and for giving us a true Friulian experience filled with flavors, warmth, and authenticity. 💛

25/10/2025: Terrible service, the girl didn't know what wines to order, dirty glasses, supermarket food, and poor value for money. It's a shame, considering the place is beautiful.

27/09/2025: Let's start by saying that both the tartare and the rib steak were truly excellent. Now let's consider the rest. The fact that they don't have beer, not even bottled, is a legitimate choice, but, as it was for me, it can be a bit disconcerting. When I ordered, I asked for a bottle of red wine, but it didn't come with the tartare. When they took the dish away, I didn't have time to ask, and only when the rib steak arrived did I mention it (I would have liked to sip wine throughout the meal, not just at the end). When I got the bill, I found it high (higher than I expected). In the car, I checked the receipt again and found the tartare had been priced at €75 instead of €18. I must emphasize that they promptly and apologetically refunded me the difference. In conclusion, the food is excellent, but given the level and price range they're aiming for, two setbacks are unacceptable.
