08/11/2025: Delicious home cooking with typical Friulian dishes. Excellent wines, especially those from Collio.
30/10/2025: Reservations... a must on weekends.
We immediately settled in and started with a platter of fresh but super-flavorful prosciutto.
A nice bottle of local white wine, of course, at a more than fair price.
The selection of dishes was limited, but we found something for ourselves.
A lively place, with cheerful management.
A good meeting point.

25/08/2025: We had the fixed-price menu for lunch.
Everything was truly delicious, with a choice of three first courses, three second courses, and three side dishes, or pizza, including a drink and coffee.
The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional.
The place, which I remembered as "Le Casate," was lovely.
We'll probably go back for dinner next time.
Well done, guys, keep up the good work.

09/11/2025: We stayed this weekend. The rooms are simple but spacious with exposed beams. The agriturismo is well-maintained and decorated with antiques. The owner is friendly, the prices are average, and the food is well-prepared and delicious. The location is convenient for those arriving by car, with free on-site parking, but a bit inconvenient if arriving by train. The place is very quiet.
16/10/2025: I stopped by here for an aperitif with a friend. Excellent canapés. We drank a spritz. We paid a fair price. I'd already been here this summer for a wedding. I'd already had a great time. The aperitif was plentiful and delicious.

29/08/2025: If you don't always want to eat in the front row of mass tourism, but are still only a few minutes' walk from the center, you shouldn't miss this place. Unassuming from the outside, but the food and staff are first-class.

27/10/2025: A very pleasant little hotel with a wonderful restaurant. The rooms are simple, clean, and functional. The restaurant is cozy, quaint, and simply a place to feel good. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic. The breakfast is also wonderful.
If we're in Friuli again, there's no way we can miss the Orologio.
11/10/2025: Truly a splendid place, a Friulian inn-style, completely made of stone, elegantly furnished with excellent cuisine, a wide selection of wines, and FANTASTIC service. They also offer parking and rooms. I go there every time I'm in Friuli and I'm always extremely satisfied. The icing on the cake is Mrs. Tiziana (the dining room manager), who practically pampers and spoils all her guests.
Highly, highly recommended.

23/10/2025: The customer service was very poor. They gave us glasses but no water—we had to ask for it ourselves. They only provided two spoons, and everyone seemed to be serving with stinginess. The food didn’t taste bad, but they really need to focus on improving their customer service.

This spacious, easily accessible roadside restaurant offers convenient free parking and a lovely enclosed outdoor terrace, accessible even in winter. The grill offers specialty, top-quality meats sourced from various locations and cooked with passion and professionalism. The dishes are fresh and tasty, with excellent and beautifully presented grilled meats. A selection of high-quality white and red wines are served with kindness and elegance. This rustic, welcoming restaurant is highly recommended for meat lovers!
19/10/2025: I went on a Friday and the place was empty; only later did another couple arrive.
We had a tartare and a carpaccio as appetizers, plus a tasting of mixed grilled meats, side dishes of stewed potatoes and buttered spinach, and water.
Everything was simply delicious, so we were surprised that the place was practically empty.
When it came time to pay, we realized: €160 for two is certainly not cheap! The quality of the meats was fine, the service was fine, the professionalism was fine... everything was fine, but... still €160 for two.

27/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria and restaurant in the center of Gorizia. Neapolitan-style pizza, and I also recommend the fried foods!
14/11/2025: Gluten-free pizza absolutely needs to be changed: it's literally a wet focaccia with two pieces of mozzarella, and the one they served me was cold, which is really a lot for something like that.
