10/01/2025: While walking in Venzone we stopped for a coffee and asked if it was possible to have lunch. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food. Starter, pappardelle with venison ragù, pork fillet..... We didn't have the opportunity to taste the desserts because the kitchen had reopened after the New Year's rest. In the restaurant the grilled meat is cooked in a spectacular fireplace.

31/08/2024: Located in Ugovizza (Val Canale) not far from Tarvisio, this small mountain hut transformed into a small farmhouse serves local products using almost exclusively lunches and dinners still in an artisanal and traditional way. (gnocchi dumplings mountain cheese polenta, all still handmade) The flagship product is the goulash, not to be missed. Located at more than 1000 meters above sea level, the small hut overlooks a stupendous and fascinating mountain panorama. The prices are happy and the atmosphere is familiar

12/04/2025: Big disappointment. Went to dinner with my partner, we order some starters and a meat. Once the starter is finished, my partner kindly asks the waitress why she didn't ask us to cook the meat since I wouldn't have eaten it rare. The waitress replies unkindly that the chef's philosophy requires cooking rare, so it's like this or nothing. We explain that it would have been professional to inform us from the beginning, but we still try to explain to him that it was enough to simply prevent the blood from coming out, a medium-rare, there was no need to cook it completely. We are offered other second courses, but at that point, given the lack of willingness to meet our request, to avoid ruining an evening that had become quite tense we decide to pay and finish with the starter (good, but not exceptional). Definitely first and last time.

07/03/2025: I have been to Mus several times, the place offers a welcoming and familiar environment, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. The furnishings are meticulous in detail, with a particular and witty touch that recalls the name of the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. The service, although it can be improved at times, is quick and efficient, with reasonable waiting times even on the busiest evenings. The real peculiarity of this place, in addition to carrying on the tradition with typical dishes of Friulian cuisine, is the proposal of two types of pizza dough: one on a pan, typical of Abruzzo, and the other on a pan, Roman style. Both doughs are exceptionally good and digestible, thanks to a correct relationship between maturation and long, natural leavening and the use of high quality ingredients. The flavor combinations are well balanced and offer an imaginative variety that satisfies all palates. The prices are competitive and consistent with the quality of the offer, therefore there is an excellent quality/price ratio. In conclusion, Mus c'al Svuale is an excellent choice for those looking for a high quality pizza, with different and digestible doughs. A place that manages to combine innovation and tradition by offering a culinary experience that fully meets expectations. 07/01/2025: I have known Carlo and Ilse for about 20 years now when they were still in Casarsa. And they are certainly biased given that they have catered weddings and 1 year and 10 year parties. Unfortunately in the new location I don't frequent it as I would like and as I did in Casarsa. The cuisine has always been of a high standard. Today I want to add that I find that the quality has risen again with revisited traditional dishes. The menu is excellent, varied between meat and fish dishes. The wine list always puts me in difficulty because in addition to having a good number of labels it is of good depth. Highly recommended
