10/10/2025: Small pizzeria at the foot of the Zoncolan.
Delicious pizza, and especially the tiramisu, deserves a mention. Definitely try it!
The Friuli Bianco wine is also highly recommended.
Service was very friendly and attentive despite the language barrier.
We really enjoyed it and would love to come back next time we're in Friuli.

19/11/2025: I've had the opportunity to try several burger joints in Udine. I hate to say it, but I don't think Mr. Smoky is among the best. While they offer generally good burgers, I find the portions rather small and the prices excessively high. Paying €15 for a sandwich consisting solely of a meat patty, sauce, and double cheddar doesn't seem justified (with a side of potatoes, of course); I can't imagine the total cost for a family of four. It almost seems like the burger is becoming a niche product, treated like a refined, elite food.
I have no complaints about the service, however: the staff is friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The guy in charge of pouring the beers was very good, and he recommended an excellent selection.

29/11/2025: The pizza itself is good. I was with my daughter, it was freezing outside, and we wanted a slice of pizza.
We had a bottle of water, but the girl wouldn't let us sit inside because we couldn't sit with our own water, but if you bought one, you could. So my daughter and I ate outside in the cold, leaning on their outdoor table. Next time, have a little mercy for a bottle of water. The world won't end if you don't sell it to the customer.

If you can offer this level of professionalism while also creating an environment where customers feel at home and part of the harmony of the place, then you have Julieta. Super!

24/11/2025: A historic restaurant nestled in the natural setting of the Natisone Valleys. It overlooks a waterfall, hence its name. Perfect for a Sunday lunch with friends, this old-fashioned yet very clean and well-maintained venue. The beautiful fireplace inside creates a truly wonderful atmosphere in the winter!

An intimate yet super welcoming atmosphere, the fireplace creating a perfect, relaxing atmosphere.
The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced, the ingredients incredibly fresh, and the portions generous.
The service was impeccable; the young owner was an excellent hostess, always present and attentive to guests but never intrusive. Kudos to her hard work and dedication!

07/10/2025: I really liked the place: a traditional trattoria, limited seating, a family atmosphere, and reservations required. The only downside was the wait time for food: an hour. Probably because it was Sunday and the place was packed. The food was excellent. A 10 for the New Zealand cubroller with baked potatoes.
