30/03/2025: Abbiamo preso un antipasto freddo misto, niente di eccezionale, troppo freddo, evidentemente era tutto in frigo, sapori quasi assenti, i gamberetti erano sommersi dalla salsa rosa, l'antipasto è stato portato dopo 4 minuti dall'ordinazione. Sia io che mia moglie abbiamo avuto problemi di digestione, non voglio aggiungere altro!!!! Pagato 56,30 euro!!!

04/01/2025: Ordered a maxi, bri sausage and half a Margherita, the pizza toppings are plentiful and the taste excellent. The crust is high but very soft and crunchy. Pizza arrived piping hot

18/03/2025: A pleasant confirmation, we had dinner based on fresh fish, good wine and courtesy, I rarely post a second review for the same place, but the rare excellences of the territory must absolutely be reported and "celebrated". 05/03/2025: The stay was excellent. The room with a vintage but refined taste is clean and very quiet; the mattress and pillows are very comfortable; the bathroom is large. I had one with a small balcony (I don't know if all are like this) I appreciated it even if I stayed in February. The breakfast could be improved from the savoury point of view, excellent from the sweet one; fantastic brioches. (obviously we have to consider the low turnout due to the low season) The host is very kind and sociable: he takes care that the stay goes well and is very knowledgeable about the area and its products. We also used the internal restaurant and it was actually an excellent choice: all the dishes are rich and refined; if you don't have a high budget for dinner, they are also available with a reduced choice at a more reasonable price. (However, 2 abundant dinners with wine and grappa for 70 euros in my opinion is not expensive at all) If I find myself in the area I will not fail to return.

24/01/2025: Small bar right at the foot of the ski slopes. Work in all capital letters outside there is an area covered by tarpaulin with benches, right in front there are seats with benches and a roof made of very characteristic and nice wood where you can observe the ski slopes. A relevant kiosk is also open, especially on weekends, where sandwiches with sausage and grilled frankfurters or cutlets are prepared. Personally I had an excellent sandwich with Sauris raw ham, the bread was also excellent.

26/02/2025: Cozy place and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I tasted a very good filter coffee and by asking for details on the blend the girl was able to give me specifics on my coffee and other blends present, I will be back to try some desserts as soon as I pass through Trieste again

22/02/2025: Caffè Mug is a charming spot in Trieste with a cozy atmosphere and a great selection of coffee and pastries especially cupcakes. The latte macchiato was smooth and well-balanced, and the cappuccino mug with cinnamon and cacao on top was a delightful treat. We had cheesecake with apricot and brownie which were both delicious. The staff was friendly, and the interior is stylish and inviting, making it a nice place to relax or get some work done. Prices are also reasonable for the quality you get.

18/04/2025: The first challenge with Zushi is just writing it. Try it: WhatsApp, Telegram or any well-intentioned keyboard will turn it into "Sushi", as part of a conspiracy by the restaurants of the Land of the Rising Sun. And instead it is one of the most well-known and stylized gastronomic realities in the city. It's incredible how the new generation immediately recognizes quality (I'm talking about my daughters): you can't fool them with other sushi. Just one look at those perfect nigiri, the sashimi arranged like in a zen anatomy table, and the dishes that seem to pass an ISO 21621-style quality control (it really exists!) is enough to understand that here every detail counts. I suspect that between the kitchen and the dining room there is a secret room where each dish is scanned, X-rayed and, if it doesn't pass the test... it is incinerated along with the chef. Also because it seems that the kitchen staff changes as quickly as a Korean TV production: creative turnover or ritual sacrifice? Nobody knows. The result, however, is always exceptional. The only slight downfall: the yaki udon with beef and shiitake mushrooms (that's how it's spelled, if memory serves). But I suspect it's a karmic trap for those who dare to order a hot, soupy, beef dish at a place called Zushi. Come on, the message is clear: 'There are no Lubianske, you're here for the fish. Raw!' So yes, Zushi is more than sushi. It's a style. Corporate. And if autocorrect doesn't get it, the palate and the eyes do.

08/03/2025: The food is great but the waiters don’t speak English very well and they brought sushi that we explicitly said we don’t want and asked them respectfully to return it but they started arguing and made us pay the sushi we didn’t order!!
