19/08/2025: The bar is in an excellent location for reaching the Great War Museum. The coffee is very good, and the service is very helpful. Highly recommended.

29/03/2025: We stopped by and had a wonderful dinner: excellent meat and Vicenza-style cod, good quality, and generous portions. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They treated us to dark chocolate split with a special cutting board and a glass of rum. Highly recommended!

22/07/2025: After being on a hike in Italy-Slovenia for 10+ days I felt like eating something different. Saw this place when stepping out of the bus in Udine station. Checked it on google maps, and although it had only few reviews they all seemed authentic and truthful. Tried the food and it was really good!! Fair price and really good taste! The staff didn't speak English and I don't speak Italian or Chinese, but it was not a problem. Some translating with the phone and hand gestures were enough to order. We got exactly what we wanted! We had a cucumber salad, some homemade tofu with vegetables and fried noodles with vegetables and beef; to drink a 0.66L beer and a can of 'latte di coco'. All for 25e. Highly recommend !

11/03/2026: Highly recommend - we stopped here for dinner. Fantastic starters, delicious pizza. Service was excellent. Google maps did take us to the top of the building but you park around the other side.

20/03/2026: Super fluffy pizzas, just like in Naples. Great vegan options (Pizza Marinara, Pasta al Pomodoro, Salad). One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! The waitress was very friendly and funny. We'll definitely be back! ☺️

09/03/2026: Friends and I came for dinner. We ordered. Half an hour later, the waitress returned and said something was broken and the order had been lost, and we needed to reorder. We waited an hour and a half for the food 😵‍💫 and they brought us bread as an apology for the long wait. :/// The fried squid and fish were terrible. The pizza, with its huge sides, was very mediocre. Some of our orders were forgotten, and some weren't even cooked yet, so they brought us takeaways, like calzones, which had been topped with sauce, as it turned out, to hide the burnt dough, which was raw inside. The evening was ruined. :///

10/07/2025: Absolutely amazing! We are from America and every time we visit our family in Italy we stop here, several times. Bread is so good, pastries are incredible! Definitely one of our favorite place!!

01/03/2026: We used to frequent Buffet Vita often and had a pretty good time, until one evening last summer, when we went there for our usual sandwich, sat down, they set the table for us, and the kind owner came to order. Only then did she inform us that every (Wednesday?) in the summer they ONLY serve seafood. Once we were seated, we ordered, and ended up spending the same amount as at a high-end seafood restaurant. The food was still good and the fish was fresh, but honestly, we felt a bit trapped.

06/12/2025: The atmosphere is dated; we left smelling like cooking. The location is stellar, but inside, it feels like a step back in time to the '70s. As for the food, I have to say the starters and main courses were good, and the side dishes were awful... A stringy braised beef and the potatoes "in tecia" were outrageous.

10/12/2025: Our first contact with the people of Trieste was impeccable. Very friendly staff. They told me what beer to drink. Very nice rolls with whatever you want on top to eat. And the wine was impeccable. The bad thing for us who came on Monday night is that the shop is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, they do well to rest, but we will come to you again in the future. Our love from Greece and Babbo Natale if you remember us.

02/01/2026: Great place, great view, polite, and very good people. Psychologists, don't stop at the Bar Alle Alpi in Forni di Sotto. The manager is rude.

09/11/2025: In a warm mountain setting, with a lively dining room, Monday night showcased the vibrancy of one of the few active establishments in this beautiful mountain village. There were some pleasant surprises when choosing wines, including the magnificent Livio Felluga, Vértigo, which speaks of terroir and foreign grape varieties. Just a couple of pasta dishes with venison ragu, where the magic was diminished by the overuse of a heavy-handed knife that flattened the dish. The pasta was good, but the overall experience was underutilized by the presence of this harsh knife, which made everything seem even. A little cheese served as a fitting end to the meal. The next day we returned for lunch and found the same flaw in a goulash and a venison stew. The dishes fell short of their potential. Attentive service. Friendly atmosphere.

02/11/2025: It's a fast food restaurant serving Balkan products in the center of Trieste. The quality is top-notch and the ingredients are delicious. The prices are a bit higher than average, but considering it's in the center of a "rich" city, that's understandable.

04/10/2025: Interesting lunch options in the city center. Delicious meat and sausage platter. Serbian beer 🇷🇸 worth trying!

23/09/2025: I've been frequenting this lovely pizzeria in Maniago Libero for years, and I can assure you that if you like Neapolitan pizza, here at Caminetto you'll find the best in the area! The owner and chef, a young and enterprising woman, comes from a family of chefs and puts her heart and soul into her work! All the ingredients are carefully selected, healthy, and delicious, from the flour used in the dough to the delicious mozzarella. Highly recommended.
