The place is the first one on the Italian side when coming from Villah. It is always crowded and dirty. Buses also stop here so the queues are huge.

We stopped for a short break on the way to Lignano. The restaurant had a good selection of goods, the staff were very friendly (some spoke good German), the sanitary facilities left something to be desired (some were out of order during our visit), but otherwise it was okay.

Osteria Ai Turians

03/06/2026: Yesterday, June 2nd, we had lunch at this Osteria and everything was fantastic, starting with the wine... a sparkling Ribolla, then the delicious first courses... tagliatelle with ragù of the day... with duck... and then gnocchi with black truffle and to finish, a delicious ice cream with strawberries and a fantastic sorbet... and a delicious grappa.
28/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Recommended for the food and the owner's friendliness.
