18/08/2025: Unfortunately, it's not the same place it was years ago. My least favorite thing was definitely the service, which was a bit rude. The house wine was acidic, and the food was overall okay, although the bill was increased by €1 per dish, without any prior agreement. In conclusion, if the prices had remained the same, the total would have been fair.

12/08/2025: We arrive at the boutique, hoping for one of their excellent drinks. Since we're a fairly large group of independent and proactive women, we decide to push the three tables together with chairs. We sit down and this blonde waitress comes over and immediately, rudely, takes away the chips from our table. We have nothing to say about this, however, because what struck us most was the way she kicked us off the table we'd carefully arranged, claiming it wasn't our job. She then proceeds to set up the tables exactly the same way we'd arranged them. In the meantime, however, we've gotten fed up and have moved on. It's a shame because the drinks are really good, but in our opinion, those who work in restaurants shouldn't be allowed to treat customers that way. Furthermore, we always have to wait too long to get the menu, to order, and to receive our orders. In conclusion, I'll share an unfortunate incident with a friend of ours, who was threatened by the owner that he wouldn't be able to have his seat unless he ordered a second round. Shame on you, you can't FORCE people to order AGAIN while also threatening them.

07/08/2025: Have you ever witnessed a manhole being opened less than a meter from the table where you're trying to enjoy a coffee? And perhaps with a generous sprinkling of ant and cockroach poison? Here, yes. In disbelief, I watched the scene as if it were the most normal thing in the world, the atmosphere definitely ruined. No apology, no explanation. A surreal experience. It's a shame, because a little more attention would have been enough (and perhaps better timing for pest control...)

07/08/2025: Nice place away from the chaos of the street. I tried good cold cuts and cheeses even if the choice wasn't huge but I would recommend it for a quiet stop.

22/07/2025: Drinks are very reasonably priced for what they are. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The service is fast. I recommend it for a drink on the terrace :)

27/09/2025: I came to the restaurant when it was almost empty, told the waiter I still need a moment to think about what to eat. He didn't come back to take my order for 40 minutes. When I went inside to order another waitress told me the kitchen had already closed (at 14:00). When I said I hadn't been told the kitchen would close and had been waiting outside for the waiter for a long time she rudely told me I could order some soup. Neither of them apologized for the misunderstanding. So I got the soup of the day served with stale bread. When I went to pay she wanted to charge me 7€ for the soup when the menu on the door said 6€. I told her I would pay what the menu said. Again she was very rude. Before I left she showed me a printed menu (probably for tourists) that said 7€ for the soup. I told her I only read the menu on the door and that they should fix their prices. Again she was very rude. I left the place very hungry and angry.

07/07/2025: Excellent meats, disappointing desserts, good service overall, but a bit of clumsiness disappointed us. The terrace has a lovely view. Beautiful dining room with rustic decor. Overall, good, but there are still some areas for improvement.

13/04/2025: If you offer a paid breakfast service, do you assume you can handle it?! The coffee shop is ALWAYS subpar, to say the least... undercooked croissants, terrible service. My company has an agreement with the gas station next door. I stop by for breakfast every now and then, but honestly, less and less often, if ever! Highly not recommended. I won't be back.

10/04/2025: I've been going to this bar for some time, both the spritz and the really good sandwiches, now I'm here for all lunches, the atmosphere is very welcoming, convenient because it's partly at the petrol station and at the car wash, the bartenders are beautiful, friendly and very good, both in the morning and in the afternoon/evening, truly recommended!!!!

26/10/2025: A good old-fashioned pub. It harks back to the days of the lira and happy Italians; I love that kind of atmosphere. Pizza is only available in the evenings from Friday to Sunday. We always stop by when we're in the area. If you're looking for something more elegant, there's a pizzeria across the street in the hotel—they also have a wood-burning oven. *Another visit (June 2025), and another good experience. New pizzaiolo (female), great pizza—thank you 🇮🇹😎🤩😋🇮🇹

13/10/2025: A historic, vintage restaurant serving simple cuisine featuring typical local dishes. Generous portions, with a few vegetarian options.

28/10/2025: A bar in the piazza, with outdoor seating in a gazebo. The interior is modernly furnished. It offers a good selection of cocktails and long drinks, as well as a good selection of wines. The display case with cicchetti is attractive.

28/09/2025: Very good, authentic Wallachian pizza from real Italians. Not some Turkish kebab pizza, but real pizza from locals. Delicious in flavor and a filling portion at a good price.

17/07/2025: Excited to try it, given the reviews, we came for lunch today. The lunch menu was minimal...just 2 pieces of sashimi per person...that's it! Mixed sushi, yes...but plenty of rice (so you're full quickly) and very, very sweet. The location is neither good nor bad...the service is with a smile! In fact, I noticed the waitress was incredibly patient helping a lady navigate her way through the dishes! In short...IT'S NORMAL THAT AT NOON I CAN'T EXPECT THE UNBELIEVABLE, but at other sushi places the selection and quantity you can order at lunch is much greater!! If you want to try it for dinner...then let me know!!!

04/10/2025: We tried the brioches: one with jam and one with cream. The pastry was good, but we found them excessively greasy and, above all, very thinly filled (perhaps a teaspoonful, for example). The place is also nice, but we couldn't even talk because the voices of everyone else in the room echoed so loudly.

31/08/2025: Brioche with crispy, buttery puff pastry. The brioche fillings are delicious. We paid €2 each for takeout. The experience was okay; I expected a wider selection of pastries, considering it's called a pastry shop. To me, it felt more like a well-stocked café. A bit pricey for the quality.

15/09/2025: Service is a disaster, second-rate service!!! Only certain guests get to see the daily specials, which are displayed on a separate board. When we asked, we were referred to the standard menu. The staff was unfriendly, and many guests had to wait longer. So we only ate the usual fare (vongole, etc.). You don't need to go to this restaurant for that!! We won't be back.

06/09/2025: A wonderful and very quiet place with first-class and friendly service, topped off with excellent food. We'd go back anytime!

05/06/2025: The cappuccino served no longer has the same quality that only a few months ago I would have described as the best in Gorizia! Too bad!

15/05/2025: Wonderful to start the day, cosy atmosphere, pleasant calm jazz music, in the centre of Gorizia, enjoying the view of morning vibes or reading a newspaper or a magazine while drinking your first cup of cappuccino and eating a croissaint.
