10/09/2025: We had spaghetti vongole, impepata di cozze, and torta alla nonna, all delicious. Regarding the service: the waitress spoke Italian, but it's Italy, where people speak Italian; and anyone who can write reviews can find out more about the menu on the same page. ;) We will definitely eat there again.

22/08/2025: Oh… this is one of those places you have to visit at least once in your life. Sonia and the whole restaurant are just amazing. We got to try the full range of dishes, all introduced by Sonia, specially picked by her mom, with their homemade beer… If you’re ever around, don’t miss it!"

31/08/2025: Not great...ate hear in July...place was empty after rain shower...still couldnt get a seat....staff gave us a table completely separate...food combinstions not good at all...staff very unhelpful...have visited Trieste several times...Italy numerous amounts ..without doubt worst dining experience of all my times in my favourite country .

26/08/2025: The fried seafood is excellent, the other dishes (spaghetti vongole pistacchio, calamaro, scallops, etc.) much less so. Not spicy enough, very slow service, one of the five of us forgot a dish, which delayed dinner. A bit expensive for the overall experience. We probably won't try it again.

06/07/2025: The rice was half raw and crunchy when I chewed it, clearly not cooked enough. The polenta tasted strangely sour, almost as if it contained vinegar, completely inedible. The staff was extremely insufficient. The waiter instead of taking care of the customers spent his time giving unsolicited advice on what to do and where to go. The environment was unbearable due to the excessive heat. Despite the high temperatures, the air conditioners were not turned on even at the end. They simply opened all the windows and doors, letting swarms of mosquitoes in. I will never return to this place and I advise anyone not to waste their money here. Non-existent service, incompetent kitchen and unpleasant environment. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to

19/06/2025: Trieste per lavoro. Pomeriggio libero a Marina Julia. Mare, sole e aperitivo. Direzione Vicenza ma ci siamo detti ceniamo in zona così facciamo presto. Cerchiamo su Trip Advisor ed ecco che a 3,5 km ci compare “Locanda La Ferula” Staranzano (GO), mi sembra ok e via… Locale molto carino, ci fanno sedere sotto dei gazebo colorati acqua e menu… Piatti originali dai nomi altrettanto originali: sushi agricolo, caprese impressionista ecc. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma non voglio rovinare la sorpresa con parole che ridurrebbero le aspettative perciò vi invito ad andarli a scoprire… Purtroppo però la lentezza del servizio ci ha reso l’esperienza mediocre. Entrati alle 19:45 usciti quasi alle 22:00… avevamo anche detto di aver fretta! Dispiace. Le 5 star saranno per la prossima volta.

07/03/2025: Gli amici non lo conoscevano, ed avendolo noi provato di recente li portiamo certi di far bella figura ! Polpettine, flan, frico, cotechino, primi piatti….tutto eccellente, amici soddisfatti particolarmente dopo aver assaggiato i deliziosi dolci…ed abbondantemente bevuto dell’ottimo Refosco. Torneremo in Friuli questa primavera e non mancheremo di tornare a trovarvi

Everything is perfect, from the meticulously designed furnishings in both the rooms and common areas to the friendly staff, attentive to guests' every need and full of valuable local information. The lush garden offers rare moments of relaxation, and the wine bar, where you can enjoy homemade wines, offers pleasant breaks, including aperitifs and organic tastings. It's a true pleasure to find establishments where the principles of hospitality are so alive. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

25/07/2025: The staff, especially Mr. Lorenzo, were excellent, friendly, and helpful. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained, as was the bathroom. The simple dinner was delicious, especially accompanied by an excellent Merlot from the on-site wine bar. We were in an emergency situation due to a car breakdown, and the staff's help was simply fantastic and deserves a special thank you.

04/05/2025: der Weg vom Zentrum ist schon ein Vergnügen. aber dann dieser freundliche Empfang. aber das Beste wartet am Teller. das ist jeden Cent wert. so eine Spargel Suppe mit Garnelen und Trüffel habe ich noch nicht gegessen- und ich war wirklich schon oft gut essen

23/04/2025: Tappa della nostra breve vacanza una Grado fuori stagione e semideserta. Locale molto carino vicino al nostro albergo ma soprattutto aperto! Entriamo e ci accoglie il titolare molto cortese! Al tavolo una cameriera deliziosa ci elenca il fuori menù e ci lascia il tempo di scegliere L’ordine viene preso da un altro cameriere e la gentilezza dev’essere requisito essenziale di questo locale! Mangiamo 2 secondi di pesce “Boreto”, tipico della zona, molto equilibrato nella preparazione che ne esaltava il gusto e, nonostante non fossimo particolarmente affamati, la bontà di questo piatto ci ha molto soddisfatti tanto che ne avremmo mangiato almeno il doppio! Niente dolce ma un buon sorbetto arricchito dal Calvados! Limoncello offerto da titolare talmente cortese che ci ha salutati dandoci la mano! La qualità del cibo qui va di pari passo con la cortesi! Bravi

10/06/2025: Sorry, but burnt frico, polenta that tastes like nothing, warm beer, water the same, chips... (the ones from the bag) paid enough and returned home hungry. I don't recommend 😞

11/05/2025: Posto meraviglioso niente da dire. Locale belissimo. Ma servizio scarso. A partire dalla ricensione dell'ordine a portata livello casalinga. Sto parlando di apperitivo. Volevamo mangiare semplice, senza grandi impegni, ma Panini presentati nel menu si è finiti. Alle 12 di mezzogiorno! Apertura alle 11 😆 Delusione. Nel mondo dell'alta concorrenza sceglieremo un altro posto.

10/05/2025: Oggi ho festeggiato i miei 50 anni con mio marito e mia figlia. Non è la prima volta che mangiamo qui ed è per questo che l'ho scelto per festeggiare questo compleanno!! Tutti i piatti che abbiamo scelto, dagli affettati alla pasta cacio e pepe,al frico grigliata e stinco alla birra, tutto buonissimo!! Per concludere poi con il birramisú e la panna cotta al caffè con salsa al cioccolato bianco e rhum che erano a fir poco squisiti!! Volevo un ristorante a me familiare,con ottimo cibo e un panorama che rimette al mondo e Alturis è sicuramente il posto giusto. Il personale sempre carino e attento!! Ho fatto i complimenti alla nostra cameriera per i piatti deliziosi ma ci tenevo anche a esprimerlo pubblicamente. Ottimo piatti e un panorama rilassante per un pranzo perfetto.

02/07/2025: First courses, second course (deer fillet) and dessert, all exquisite and presented, with harmony of flowers and mountain fruits. 🥇👏👏👏Even Gigi, the waiter, was attentive and thoughtful. We will definitely return.

04/09/2025: Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly, from start to finish. The waitress was very friendly, both to us and to the tourists. Excellent food.
