The food was good and the waitress very friendly, but the owner was incredibly rude!
After a meal for four, we left and, after walking just 10 meters, decided to come back to use the restroom... and the owner refused!
We were disgusted by this disrespectful and impolite behavior, which only came after the bill arrived.

This restaurant is in the center of Ferrara, with a fantastic view (the Estense Castle). The food is excellent, but what I love most is the attentive, polite, and friendly staff!!! I come here often because they also have excellent pizza! 🍕

I had an aperitif this evening with complete and excellent quality appetizers, the service was impeccable and the waiters were very kind, the beers and drinks were impeccably placed, I recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time today at Locanda 22. The food was excellent, and the outdoor atmosphere with a view of the Estense Castle was also wonderful. Even though the restaurant was closing, we were given time to finish our meal. Special thanks to Giusy, whose friendly and professional manner made our lunch special.

A truly lovely restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The outdoor seating is also very pleasant, perfect for enjoying the city center. (The enclosed terrace at the back is noisy, however.) The location is excellent, right in the heart of the historic center.
The staff was very professional, kind, and attentive. The cuisine offers simple local dishes, but with attention to detail and beautifully presented. RECOMMENDED

Highly recommended place; I went there for a friend's birthday and it met our expectations. The atmosphere was simple and welcoming, everyone was friendly and helpful, and above all, the food was delicious.
