09/07/2025: Very nice place, with attention to detail and cleanliness. The staff is friendly, and the food arrives promptly once you order. The food is very good and the portions are generous. We had a mixed antipasto and two grilled dishes, and the fries were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the truffle frittata as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. I gave the service 4 stars because I think they're understaffed, but overall I'd still give it 5 stars. I recommend it if you're in the area. Parking is a bit difficult if you're on a motorbike, as the parking lot isn't paved and is all gravel.

06/07/2025: Great food, good prices, but slow service. Appetizer brought right away, but then about 3/4 hour wait between other courses. Overall a very positive experience. Nice place, delicious food, and competent staff except for the wait.

13/07/2025: A little gem in the heart of Perugia. We dined outdoors during Umbria Jazz. The food was exquisite, the wine was perfect, and the service and courtesy were top marks. Definitely worth a try!

08/08/2025: The service was terrible. We booked a table for 7:15 PM and were seated at 8:00 PM. We asked several times for someone to take our order. We didn't feel well cared for. The prices were on the higher side. The food was okay, but not amazing. The place was more for tourists, although it's not exactly a tourist trap. Edit: We did book for 7:30 PM and were seated at 8:00 PM. My mistake. I'll also share our experience with the reservation. We had booked a table outside for 7:30 PM. The reservation was confirmed. We arrived at 7:30 PM, but the lady was setting up the tables outside, so I told her I'd be back in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, she continued setting up the tables, then setting them all, while we stood and watched as she set them for 20 minutes. We weren't allowed to sit down until all the tables were set. Instead of seating us and at least serving drinks, the restaurant decided we had to stand and watch as the waitress set each table one by one. A wonderful experience. For future reference: in such a situation, simply set one end table and continue setting after serving the guests, or at least after serving the drinks.

09/08/2025: In viaggio verso il cuore dell'Umbria ci siamo fermati a Città di Castello per il pranzo, attirati dalla segnalazione di un ristorante su una guida. E soprattutto da una parola: tartufo. La trattoria Lea è molto grande, ma anche molto frequentata, in massima parte da gente del posto, infatti è consigliabile prenotare. Con un po' di fortuna abbiamo trovato un tavolo e nonostante un po' di attesa (il ristorante era alla capienza massima) siamo stati estremamente soddisfatti. Buoni e vari gli antipasti misti, assolutamente straordinari i primi: tagliatelle e gnocchetti al tartufo bianco, di cui erano letteralmente ricoperti (al doppio di un primo normale, prezzo assolutamente giustificato). Buoni anche i mazzafegati, presidio slow food locale, assaggiati come secondo.

09/07/2025: The kind of review that you don’t want to give because you don’t want to spoil the authenticity. There is a menu and it’s in Italian but you can order whichever, it’s delicious! They serve dishes from Umbria and wine to go along with. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoy if you have then chance!

11/08/2025: A restaurant that does non-restaurant dishes, a 33cl Coca-Cola costs 4 euros, no, come on, then no typical desserts, I'll take a Nutella cheesecake with a Nutella topping, it was clearly NOT Nutella

21/07/2025: In posizione comoda per accedere alle scale mobili, vicino al teatro, abbiamo mangiato bene e con la compagnia del servizio sorridente della proprietaria. Il conto, forse, più alto di qualche euro rispetto al previsto, ma complessivamente esperienza positiva, da rifare quando torneremo in visita a Spoleto.

20/07/2025: Excellent location right in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. The menu is very unique; we ordered stewed shelled snails, grilled lamb, and spaghetti alla chitarra, but there are also dishes with local truffles. Extremely authentic flavors, a relaxed atmosphere, and a wide selection of wines. Definitely recommended if you want to try new flavors in a quiet setting.

27/06/2025: Small restaurant hidden in the streets of Città di Castello that hides excellent dishes! Excellent strascinati, absolutely to try, and pasta ricotta and walnuts. Also very good is the braised wild boar and the roast suckling pig, the latter perhaps cooked a little too much. To top it all off, the friendliness and chatter of the manager. Recommended!

15/06/2025: Typical Orvieto cuisine restaurant. Excellent dishes: truffle carbonara, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and spiced beef with porcini mushrooms, truly fantastic. Very young chef but he already seems to have a star, the lady who served us was very kind and welcoming, the owner extremely helpful. Thanks Raffy…..

27/07/2025: Excellent local cuisine. The appetizers are recommended (a mix of cured meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs with truffles, and fried bread). The first courses are all excellent, as are the meats. Attentive and friendly service.

21/07/2025: An alchemy of flavors and senses. A welcoming and unique atmosphere. The young woman who served us was so lovely; her stories made you fall in love with a dish, wine, or dessert. A discovery in an enchanting, quiet location, where time seems to stand still. Then we met the pastry chef...an artist who infuses her customers' dreams and desires into her creations. Each dish is a discovery of extraordinary flavors and combinations, and when it comes to dessert, the choice becomes overwhelming...the house's signature dessert is a chamomile ice cream, white chocolate rocher, and...nothing else, you have to come here to discover a treasure trove of precious delights and wonderful people.

12/07/2025: Before our trip I spent considerable time reading reviews and recommendations for restaurants along the way. Enoteca L'Alchimista was "the" restaurant in Montefalco, and I completely agree. Some of the best food we had on our trip. Great helpful staff with wine recommendations too! Try the Sagrantino, don't be afraid! It's excellent!

18/06/2025: Really liked the food. The carpaccio and tortelinni were amazing! We didn't find the service very friendly (maybe because we are tourists and not Italian and there were only locals?) but the food and the fast service more than made up for it!
