01/06/2025: Kind service that understands when the kitchen creates embarrassment and should change profession. I'm really sorry, but if I went to the kitchen I would eat better. They brought us a meat that had gone bad, it smelled, kindly replaced with another cut and didn't charge for it. Too bad that, despite the kindness of the service, even the second meat was salty, the potatoes old and dry, ditto the shank, the artichokes boiled and tasteless, the gnocchi were opened from a bag and put in the sauce, the pizza offered dry, old and reheated. In short, we must have been unlucky or the chef was sick, but we ate very badly. It's no coincidence that the place was half empty. On the way out I had to get a sandwich because I was hungry. The place is then abandoned to itself outside tables with bird poop. Too bad because it has a wonderful view.

24/06/2025: Trattoria Santucci is one of those places that stays in your heart. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is kind, helpful and smiling, and each dish tells a story of tradition and passion for good food. We had the pleasure of tasting different courses, all delicious: from the tasty and well-prepared appetizers, to the second course of meat with porcini mushrooms, very tender and tasty, up to the tiramisu, which melted in the mouth with an incredible lightness. A detail that particularly struck us was when, after asking for a large carbonara, they brought us a second course for free, without us even asking. A gesture that shows how much attention and care they have for customers. The dishes taste like real home cooking, the one made with fresh ingredients and recipes handed down, where every flavor has its reason. It's not just eating well, it's feeling welcomed and pampered. Highly recommended for those looking for authenticity, quality and a service that goes beyond expectations. We will definitely be back!

22/07/2025: La Taverna di San Silvestro is definitely the place to go for those who want to eat well, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere of one of Italy's most beautiful villages. Always ask what's on the menu—you might be surprised!

18/07/2025: Given that I'm a lover of trattorias and the authenticity of the culinary tradition that in central Italy blends seamlessly with the historicity of its villages, I couldn't resist trying this restaurant, which has a good review and is in a spectacular location. We booked a day in advance just to secure a table for two and appreciate the setting, but upon our arrival, we were handed a small plastic table on the restaurant's terrace. Not exactly the best place to appreciate one of the restaurant's signature features. The service was barely adequate, and the staff were unhelpful, unfriendly, and at times almost annoyed by our presence. My expectations were dashed from the start. As for the food, my opinion is slightly on the positive side. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was good, and the Pajata (a Lazio tradition and a rare dish these days) was also decent. At the "let's pay the bill" stage, the wait was quite long. From the kitchen came shouts and vulgar insults, which didn't quite cap off my evening of cuisine and tradition. But you know, perhaps even insults are a part of tradition, certainly not of politeness. All in all, I hope this place can make significant progress, including in terms of staff, because the location and the village of Collepino are already a draw that draws this place. It's no coincidence that the restaurant was packed. Lastly, I paid, and left unsatisfied, but at least with a full stomach.

03/05/2025: Elegant, refined and wonderful restaurant; unique and beautiful location, the Roman excavations are the setting; excellent gourmet cuisine, selected and refined dishes offered in delicious dishes; cuisine aimed at gourmets with a refined palate. Compliments to the chef. Avoid going in if you think of "restaurant food". Quality does not go together with quantity. Impeccable service with great availability of proposed waters and wines. Also very good by the glass. The price is right for the location and quality service offered. Amazing cellar with excellent selection of wines. I repeat recommended only for connoisseurs.

18/04/2025: Almuerzo el martes de abril. Cappeletti bien hecho en caldo, un excelente filete localmente ptoducido con papas asadas y luego tiramisú. Muy bueno y de precio modesto. Tienen una impresionante selección de vinos de Umbría. Muy recomendable.

02/07/2025: We only used the restaurant which has a very nice and romantic internal courtyard. The food was very good and I would say excellent value for money, the staff is kind and courteous and the service is fast. The restaurant adheres to the discount of the Narni Sotterranea initiative.
