04/10/2025: For tourists! The staff were very friendly. We had a reservation for 2 pm and were seated as soon as we arrived. The restaurant is in the center of Assisi, overlooking a beautiful square if you eat outside. We ate inside, there were two of us, especially on the feast of St. Francis. We had two appetizers: cold cuts and cheese, and bruschetta. Let's say the quality was adequate. As for the entrees, I have to comment on the quality of the grill; it was decent and well-cooked. We had two first courses: fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and another truffle dish. The mushroom and truffle sauce was sparse, but there was a lot of butter and pepper. For €18, I wasn't expecting a prized truffle, but at least it was fragrant. The mushrooms were good, although very few, and the portions were adequate. The restaurant is geared toward one-touch tourism. The dishes aren't those in the photos, and some of the restaurant photos look like they're from another location; perhaps they have two restaurants. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to digest. Price: €67 for a bottle of water, two covers, two appetizers, and two first courses. I give it three stars for the kindness and service, and in any case, you're in the historic center. For food 2 I don't want to add anything else.

04/10/2025: Excellent food: I recommend the truffle! The staff was very friendly, and the place was perfect and welcoming for my dog. I'll always come back!

14/08/2025: The food was exceptional … very traditional and local dishes, prepared with pride by the family team. Service and atmosphere were also “familiar” hence with the little imperfections one would expect in a family setting 😏 I really enjoyed and highly recommend !!

15/10/2025: This winery, besides being beautiful, offers a very wide selection of wines and excellent cuisine. Try it and believe it.

26/09/2025: Friendliness, kindness, and helpfulness from the owner and all the staff; excellent hotel, good food. I plan to return again; we had a great time (we were a group of four friends). I encourage everyone to visit.

13/09/2025: We were on a pilgrimage in Assisi and we stayed in three hotels. Specifically, we were not in this one, we just ate. Breakfast was terrible, only cheese and ham. No vegetables or yogurt, just very poor. But lunch and dinner were quite decent.

14/10/2025: While visiting Narni with the excuse of lunchtime, we found this charming restaurant. A pleasant surprise for the atmosphere, courtesy, price, and above all, good food.

02/11/2025: The place is very beautiful, in this quiet and charming village. We ate very well; the portions were more than adequate, but the prices, for an inn, were a bit high. The service was a bit slow; two young men were managing the dining room. The Desideria appetizer and the off-menu pici were excellent!

08/08/2025: The meat is good, but it's a shame that the service is chaotic, the atmosphere resembles the cellar of a dusty country house with worm-eaten tables, and the price is decidedly excessive.

25/04/2025: Il locale è davvero carino ed il personale estremamente cortese e disponibile. I piatti davvero buoni! Abbiamo preso come antipasto la polenta con il ragù di cinghiale, come primi cappelletti in brodo (davvero buoni e soprattutto perfetti per il freddo che c’era, almeno mi hanno piacevolmente riscaldata) e gnocchi di patate con il castrato. Per concludere in bellezza tortino caldo al cuore di cioccolato, una vera goduria! Assolutamente consigliato

16/02/2025: Consigliato. Sono andato a cena per due sere di fila. La prima mangiato delle ottime ricette consigliate fuori menù, la seconda mangiato ricette dal menù. Tutto estremamente buono e con porzioni giuste (non mi sono alzato con fame). Personale molto cortese, professionale e disponibile

17/10/2025: Historic restaurant located in the city's most beautiful square. The welcome was unprofessional, as was the service: they were generally inattentive and rude. On the other hand, we were fortunate to be seated with very kind and welcoming locals. The food was exceptional! Overall, I consider the experience positive.

23/09/2025: I have just had the worst meal ever in Italy. The salad was tasteless and the shrimp suspect, the hamburger was an inedible slab of freezer pressed meat. This place is good for a drink but I would rather eat anywhere else.

16/09/2025: This is a job that is not for everyone... the customer when he arrives at a place wants to be welcomed, at least... they look at you with the face of someone who does not want to see anyone that evening... not a smile, not a bit of kindness... excellent calling card for a historic place like yours!!
