Beautiful place, delicious food, welcoming service. Price slightly higher than average which I didn't find entirely balanced…. note: still very affordable.

A quaint restaurant with friendly, welcoming staff. A fireplace where they grill meats. A terrace with a panoramic view of the valley. Parking 150 meters away. Highly recommended.

Reserve a table ahead of time on their website and you can request a table with a view but note that, at busy times, you may not get one. This is a traditional foods restaurant so if you had an Italian cook in your family you will be transported back in time to delicious meals at the family table. They specialize in local game meats like deer, duck, and boar. All are very good, the deer is almost creamy buttery delicious and if they are serving it with the mushrooms it’s a gustatory delight. The server was a bit impatient with us when we were ordering and spilled a little on the tablecloth as he banged our carafe of Sangiovese on the table but warmed up after he served us and (and perhaps after he heard me mutter a complaint in Italian). Overall, the food is good the restaurant is beautiful and the views are SPECTACULAR. Good indoor spot for when it’s cold, too. Note it’s a bit more challenging to find. Once you’re on the Piazza del Popolo, go under the Palazzo dei Priori and go straight a bit. Worth the trip.

Great restaurant with fabulous views of the surrounding country side. Very varied delicious menu. The staff were welcoming an spoke decent English which is always a big help when hoping to get recommendations on what dish to choose. We had a very relaxed enjoyable dining experience.

The place is dated and a bit run-down in some areas. The food is honest. I'd call it nothing special if it weren't for the Roman-style artichokes, made in May with frozen artichokes and sold for 10 euros.

A really quite restaurant with amazing food and the best view in Umbria.

There were two of us for dinner; I had a main course and a side dish, and my companion had an appetizer and a first course. The food was passable, I'd say just passing. The truffle pasta was absolutely bland, while the appetizer and second course were edible but nothing exceptional. We were inside, so unfortunately we didn't enjoy the view, which I believe is the restaurant's strong point. The interior was nice but not particularly well-maintained, and the service was average. The price was absolutely exorbitant for what we ate. Overall, not an experience I'd repeat.

Not the best food and service. We got here based on the recommendation of a friend, but got quite disappointed with the quality of the food. For example, the artichokes were clearly out of a can. Service was also odd, with the waiter behaving in an awkward way. The place was quite cold, despite the chimney being on.

Food is delicious. Menu is mostly in english. Out server spoke some english, which was helpful. The deer roast was delicious and the green tortellini. Veal cappuccino was excellent.
