14/04/2025: Rustic and home-made restaurant, without pretensions. A few steps from the center of Assisi, a typical Umbrian farmhouse restaurant, with a vast choice of various dishes, all very good. Barbecue in the center of the room, I recommend meats of any kind to have here, potatoes and onions are also good and each dish has the torte al testo and scamorza cooked on the grill, particular. If you love simplicity I highly recommend. Restaurant frequented by locals.

14/04/2025: We went for dinner on Friday, a very suggestive place, from the entrance you can already see the fireplace where the embers are cooked, ordering meat becomes a prerogative with that scent. Numbers are assigned to respect the queue, after ordering we waited a bit for the second course, but the waiter kindly brought us two steaks instead of one because it wasn't big enough. We spent around 60 euros, we left full and satisfied! Compliments.

06/04/2025: Excellent restaurant in the center of Gubbio. Excellent food and good value for money. The only flaw was that the waiter was a little too intrusive.

17/03/2025: Loved the food and the wine. The waiter was very friendly. The waitress, presumably family of the owner, was not friendly at all.

08/03/2025: I went in and asked the gentleman at the counter for a takeaway focaccia with porchetta, I went to the cash register to pay with a debit card and the girl (I think the daughter of the gentleman before) told me that for the takeaway I couldn't pay with a debit card but only cash, effectively inviting me to leave. I point out to him that the gentleman at the counter was already preparing the focaccia so she turns to him angrily, grumbling out loud that "he always does this" (and thank goodness). Given that 9 euros is not a coffee so it is not clear why this decision was made, among other things against the current regulations of the sector I suppose, but making a customer feel this way is truly in bad taste. So he was very courteous but she was really rude. I conclude by saying that the porchetta wasn't bad but the focaccia was rubbery and cold. I'm not going back.

11/04/2025: Almorzamos en Il Pinturicchio en nuestra excursión de un día a Spello, optando por comer dentro. Está catalogado como uno de los mejores 365 restaurantes de Italia y nos quedamos muy contentos con el servicio, el ambiente y la comida. Compartimos una ensalada Caprese, cada uno tenía un primi (Pappardelle al cinghiale y Ravioli Stracchino) , 1/2 litro de vino de la casa, agua, tiramisú y crescionda spoletina y capuchino por 68 €.

09/04/2025: Impeccable restaurant with real flavors. It's been a long time since I ate a nice pigeon and here I found it really done properly. The creation obviously also stood out, I really enjoyed it and I recommend it to everyone

24/02/2024: I just heard that the restaurant has decided to close at the moment. I'm so sorry, it was a regular stop for us every time we were in the area. The quality, the kindness, the view were so relaxing that we felt like we were at the home of friends. 💛

28/11/2023: Una trattoria vecchia maniera dove fanno da padroni i primi e la carne. Provare le tagliatelle ai funghi che sono eccezionali. Antipasto della casa abbondante e con selezione di affettati, formaggi e bruschette vario e roba non da supermercato. Ottimo come qualità prezzo.

02/03/2025: Visita a Gubbio , pranzo con il menu del giorno che permetteva un rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto un primo con ragù di cinghiale e i tozzetti con il vinsanto, acqua vino e caffè . Il cibo era molto buono e anche abbondante. Il personale accogliente , ben preparato e molto gentile. Il posto molto carino ci tornerei e lo consiglio vivamente.

02/03/2025: Visit to Gubbio, lunch with the menu of the day which allowed a very good quality/price ratio. We ate an appetizer, a first course with wild boar ragù and tozzetti with vinsanto, water, wine and coffee. The food was very good and also plentiful. The staff were welcoming, well trained and very kind. very nice place I would go back and highly recommend it.

05/04/2025: I had dinner at Locanda Del Postiglione during a weekend in Umbria. I really appreciated the modern and bright environment of the place and the fast and friendly service. The first ones proved to be truly delicious but I can't say the same about the second course which I shared with my partner. A nice experience for having consumed two first courses, a second course and the drink. The total price is a little too high.

05/04/2025: Ho cenato alla Locanda Del Postiglione durante un weekend in Umbria. Ho apprezzato tantissimo l'ambiente moderno e luminoso del posto e il servizio veloce e cordialissimo. I primi si sono dimostrati davvero deliziosi ma non posso dire lo stesso del secondo che ho diviso con la mia compagna. Una bella esperienza per aver consumato due primi, un secondo e il beveraggio. Un po' troppo alto il prezzo totale.
