21/06/2025: Beautiful hotel, charming and completely original. The rooms have a fantastic view of the village and the surrounding valleys. A terrace overlooking Umbria.
The restaurant led by Chef Giancarlo Polito is unmissable: with his highly trained staff he always manages to surprise with exciting and high-level proposals, with excellent raw materials. The cellar is superb.
If that wasn't enough, connected to the Locanda there is Tipico, a 100% Umbrian trattoria that is truly one of a kind.
05/05/2025: Siamo capitati per caso in questo ristorante l'ultima sera del nostro soggiorno ... peccato perché saremmo tornati per provare anche le altre proposte del menù! Ogni portata è un tripudio di gusto accompagnato da qualche parola che ne amplifica la percezione.
Davvero ottimo!

14/07/2025: Never again, a very ugly self-service place but they charge 1 euro for ridiculous service, terrible food, arrogant owner at the cash register with a cigarette, opening and closing the refrigerators with a cigarette in his mouth, disgusting total price for 1 appetizer, 1 burnt chicken leg, 1 sausage, 1 side dish, 2 1/2 carafes of house wine, total 60 euros. I went there to a normal restaurant served and revered. Don't go and throw away your money.
02/07/2025: Truly a wonderful place, the food is wonderful, the atmosphere is perfect as is the service, they are always available and the quality-price ratio is really excellent... I recommend it 100%

26/07/2025: A unique and fantastic place, a little gem we found at the last minute.
We arrived relatively late from Florence, four of my friends and I, and were warmly welcomed.
The food was spectacular, well-made and homemade; compliments to the chef!
I was also surprised by the price; we had everything: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and grappa; it was very cheap.
I recommend everyone stop by if you're passing through.
19/07/2025: La location è estremamente curata. Posizionato proprio di fronte al maniero, abbiamo cenato all’aperto e l’atmosfera era molto rilassante.
I piatti sono semplici ma preparati con cura e con ingredienti di qualità.
Il personale estremamente gentile e premuroso contribuisce ad una experience indimenticabile.

03/08/2025: We stopped for lunch, as we were also guests at the nearby hotel. We had a great time. The food was really good. Plus, the view of the lake is truly breathtaking. I recommend it.
03/08/2025: I chose this restaurant for a gluten-free dinner in Castiglione del Lago. We dined in the outdoor garden despite the strong wind and the threat of rain, but we were assigned a seat on the covered porch, so we had no problems.
We chose all dishes from the AIC menu: two appetizers (king carp roe and zander salad) with two main courses (capitone skewer and porchetta-style carp).
I found all the dishes very hearty, with a distinct, obviously seafood-inspired flavor. I really enjoyed the zander salad, which was very fresh and flavorful. I was less fond of the capitone skewer, which was stringy and too salty. We accompanied everything with a potato baked under the ashes.
For drinks, we chose a glass of white Ascanio (highly recommended) and a glass of rosé.
The service was attentive but not pushy.
The bill was around €75 for everything I've listed.

14/05/2025: With a friend of mine, after wandering around looking for a restaurant with two free seats, we ended up in this restaurant and, I must say, we had a great time. Recommended tagliatelle with trout ragù that comes from the nearby lake. The chicory was also very good. Generous portions and very kind staff. Recommended

22/04/2025: Non saprei da dove cominciare..Ci siamo fermati a Narni, di ritorno dalle vacanze pasquali. Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante. Un posticino delizioso dove trovare un difetto è davvero difficile. Una location panoramica con una terrazza che è un gioiellino 🤩. Il personale professionale e gentilissimo. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, un tagliere di salumi, dei primi di pasta locale, gustosissimi ed una cheesecake speciale, con dei frutti di bosco unici....grazie di tutto, torneremo 🤩🤩

This time we tried the spaghetti all'amatriciana. They were a little salty, but I was really impressed with the perfect texture of the pancetta!!!!
