07/06/2025: It was a long wait and a long trip, but it was absolutely worth it!!! Traditional, classic place, just as you would expect. Nothing out of place. The guys in the dining room are synchronized like Swiss watches and the shocking thing is that despite the influx of people, they always manage to be helpful and efficient, in a short time. Excellent food as well as excellent wine. I couldn't miss a line for the frontman, Giorgione. Super nice, super kind and super welcoming with EVERYONE. Very good, keep it up!!!! To come back!!!

07/06/2025: And what can I say??? Pure spectacle!! "Family" atmosphere, welcoming, the feeling of being at ease was the master... Food that I can't find words because I can still feel the taste, the deliciousness, the quality and quantity!!!! Having the pleasure of chatting with him in person... Thanks to Giorgio!! It was relaxing, pleasant and fun. We'll be back!!

05/05/2025: Siamo capitati per caso in questo ristorante l'ultima sera del nostro soggiorno ... peccato perché saremmo tornati per provare anche le altre proposte del menù! Ogni portata è un tripudio di gusto accompagnato da qualche parola che ne amplifica la percezione. Davvero ottimo!

17/03/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno in famiglia ed eravamo in 18. Antipasti ottimi! Salumi, giardiniera e il famoso maritozzo mazzafegato strepitosi. Ottime anche le tagliatelle con ragù di chianina per non parlare del dolce base sfoglia che avevamo richiesto come torta di compleanno. Buona cantina. Personale gentile e disponibile. 06/06/2025: Lunch for 4 people. Despite the reservation, our table was in front of the bathroom door. Asking the usual rude people to close the door was the recurring theme of the entire meal. In the dining room with us we had a troublesome group of about 80 tourists so, to make myself heard by my fellow diners, we needed a megaphone! I asked for bread, salt, oil and pepper three times while waiting for the courses. The bread arrived first and then, together with the first courses, the food requested twenty minutes earlier arrived. The courses were not bad even if a parmigiana a little bigger than a two euro coin for 13 euros does not seem in line with the prices of the other courses. The piccorilli with confit cherry tomatoes and pesto were good. The tagliolini cacio, pepe e tartufo were instead a deformed flan that with every forkful came up all over, as if it were a single piece. Slow and awkward service even if someone was nice if not very professional. Too bad. Yet the place is nice and the food is decent. I would aim for greater professionalism and to welcome fewer tourists while maintaining the identity of the area but above all providing an appreciable service.

02/06/2025: Negative experience ... if I order pichirilli with confit cherry tomatoes you have to serve me that type of tomatoes cooked in that way and not raw pachini tomatoes ... otherwise on the menu you put pichirilli with pesto and pachino tomatoes ... then the manner of the owner instead of apologizing used a sarcastic tone that makes you even more angry ... absolutely negative

02/06/2025: Raramente lascio recensioni, ma questa volta sentivo quasi il dovere di farlo. L’urgenza nasce da un’esperienza talmente deludente da lasciare senza parole, e ancora più incredibile se si considera che il ristorante ci era stato caldamente consigliato da un locale. La Barcaccia si presenta bene: l’ambiente è caratteristico, con molte fotografie e quadri legati al Festival di Spoleto, e il personale è gentile. Sembrava l’inizio perfetto. Purtroppo, è stato un abbaglio. I tempi di attesa sono stati molto lunghi, e quando finalmente sono arrivati i piatti… l’amarezza è stata doppia. La mia pasta al tartufo, dal costo decisamente alto, era una porzione gourmet e non particolarmente buona. Ma la vera nota dolente è stata la parmigiana della mia compagna: davvero scandalosa. Sapeva di vecchio, sembrava un piatto precotto e malamente riscaldato, con quella consistenza molle e il sapore piatto di qualcosa rimasto in frigo per giorni. Prezzo? 14 euro. Assurdo. In mensa universitaria, per un piatto simile (e probabilmente anche migliore), ne avrebbero chiesti 3,50 euro al massimo. A completare il quadro, pane palesemente vecchio di almeno un giorno, con mollica che si sgretola, patate al forno stanche e riscaldate male, e un vino della casa acidognolo. Conto salato, soddisfazione inesistente.

05/06/2025: Pleasant and quiet trattoria located in the suburbs. We took 2 first courses and a side dish, spending a total of €37 (including drinks and cover charge). The portions are definitely generous. Fast service and friendly staff.

12/06/2025: I stayed one night in this structure for the realization of the path of St. Francis in the first days of June, starting from the Sanctuary of La Verna and stopping, after really hard work but at the same time happy to have lived an unforgettable experience, in this place as a second stop, reaching the perched village of Pietralunga, between Umbria and Marche. The stay, although short, was exceptional! From the warm welcome at check-in, to the check-out the following morning, everything was managed with care, attention, care, kindness, courtesy and super availability, Manuele is the perfect host: present, discreet, jovial, genuine, ready to respond to any request, a real family-like welcome. Beautiful and functional apartment, spacious and clean and above all quiet, tastefully decorated rooms (it is worth highlighting the presence of books both in the room and in the common areas 😉). A short walk takes you to the historic village, among alleys, views, shops and good places to have lunch/dinner (thanks to Manuele for the suggestion of Locanda Fiorucci, excellent dinner!!). In the morning, excellent breakfast, organized and abundant with quality products and a wide choice of fresh homemade stuff, sweet and savory (cakes, bread, fruit), served in a large room on the ground floor. Not only will I return but I recommend it to anyone who wants a place to relax outside the chaos of the city.

22/04/2025: Non saprei da dove cominciare..Ci siamo fermati a Narni, di ritorno dalle vacanze pasquali. Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante. Un posticino delizioso dove trovare un difetto è davvero difficile. Una location panoramica con una terrazza che è un gioiellino 🤩. Il personale professionale e gentilissimo. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, un tagliere di salumi, dei primi di pasta locale, gustosissimi ed una cheesecake speciale, con dei frutti di bosco unici....grazie di tutto, torneremo 🤩🤩

14/05/2025: With a friend of mine, after wandering around looking for a restaurant with two free seats, we ended up in this restaurant and, I must say, we had a great time. Recommended tagliatelle with trout ragù that comes from the nearby lake. The chicory was also very good. Generous portions and very kind staff. Recommended

La location è suggestiva e curata, con una vista sulla bellissima Torre di Castel San Giovanni, che rende l’atmosfera davvero magica. Il menù è un perfetto equilibrio tra tradizione e creatività: ogni piatto è preparato con ingredienti di altissima qualità e presentato con grande eleganza. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato i primi fatti in casa e la selezione di carni locali, tenerissime e saporite. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti con competenza e proposti in abbinamento ideale. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: personale gentile, attento e professionale, capace di farci sentire coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un ristorante raffinato ma autentico, dove ogni dettaglio è curato e ogni sapore racconta il territorio. Consigliatissimo!
