10/06/2026: Excellent raw materials. Both the cold cuts and the truffles. I would have liked the cold cuts to be a little more generous. Anyway, I'd go back.

06/06/2026: THE CHEF WAS IN LOVE ;) Unfortunately, the pici with wild boar ragout were a bit too salty. The rest was very good.

05/05/2026: This isn't a review, but a thank you to Dario and Samanta, two unique and rare people. We stayed three nights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the mattress was indescribably comfortable after a day of exploring the area. We decided to have dinner there every night... the pici, the Florentine steak, the burrata-filled sweets, the platters... not to mention their homemade tarts and tiramisu, so delicious that they express all the passion of a couple who put their heart into what they do. Thank you for letting us spend four days with smiles. The laughter we shared as if we were old friends will stay with me until the next time, and I hope very soon that we'll be back... because we definitely will, your sacrifices leave a lasting impression. We love you guys, and see you next time.

30/04/2026: We stayed there for 3 nights, but unfortunately we had some problems with the room. The fan in the next room or in the kitchen was making a crazy noise. It was partly resolved, partly not. One day, we left in the morning and returned late at night to find the door to the room open. I asked for information, and the gentleman who had been in the attic told me that the TVs were broken and they had been left unlocked. With the entrance doors to the rooms always open day and night, they didn't have the key. The gate to the building was also always open, and on the floor we found everything that had fallen through the hatch in the ceiling. Breakfast was good, the croissants. We asked if we could have savory food... yes, but the lady was very annoyed and she didn't know how to make scrambled eggs. 🤷‍♀️ Very convenient location for reaching Volterra, San Gimignano, and the surrounding areas. Outside, the garden was a real mess. It's a shame because I had read good reviews.

08/06/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Trattotia. The restaurant is situated on a small hill within a small village. The ambiance is wonderful, typically Italian. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced!

28/04/2026: Lunch with friends was super satisfying, everything was good, we left with full bellies, the price was a little expensive but fair all in all, we'll be back.

27/04/2026: Food was really bad. I never complain about meals but the bread was stale, the penne dish was bland, and the meat dish was also bland. 4 of us went. Really disappointed but its only 1 meal.

17/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with perfect organization. We were invited by friends who had dined here before, and we were pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of the dishes but also by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Despite the varied menu, the courses were all served in sync (first round and second round, as they called it). Our table, however, wasn't the easiest to serve because it included 11 children and 8 adults with different needs (two with celiac disease). We had a great time and absolutely recommend it. We hope to return soon, and we apologize if the presence of so many children created service difficulties at times. (It should be noted that the staff remained smiling even during the inevitable moments of greatest "confusion.") See you soon.

21/12/2025: Dinner with friends, a wonderful surprise, with a very refined atmosphere. The "whatever you eat" menu is worth trying; I wasn't disappointed. Local produce, or even their own, is served. The price is fair for the dinner offered. There's no à la carte menu, and everything offered is top-quality and seasonal. We'll definitely be back to try other delicious options. Congratulations!

21/12/2025: We went to Casale la Piaggia for dinner with friends. The place is truly beautiful and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. The dinner was excellent: truly tasty and well-balanced dishes, a perfect combination of high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. 20/05/2026: A two-level restaurant with spacious dining rooms, it was very popular. Despite it being a Tuesday, the place was packed. It was difficult to converse during dinner due to the cheerful hustle and bustle. Traditional Tuscan cuisine. We opted for a mixed grill with sides. I was already expecting a long wait, but it was actually reasonable. The waiter served a nice platter with steak, rosticciana, and sausages, along with the classic sides of beans and spinach. The steak wasn't "as tender as butter," as they say, and the sausages tasted like supermarket sausages. The rosticciana was good. To finish the meal, an excellent torta della nonna. Overall, an average restaurant.

05/05/2026: Cozy and romantic Fair price and quality, considering the place is worth it! Clean and easily accessible restrooms, convenient parking. Spectacular natural views, even at night, worth trying. There's something for vegetarians, too 😅

06/04/2026: We were greeted without even looking at us. Just like when we ordered. I wanted to replace the potatoes with mashed potatoes, but the girl who took the menus walked away without listening to my request. Leave this restaurant to Borghese. It was the only one with a table on Easter Monday. Does that mean anything? It's not worth the expense.

25/04/2026: Dinner with friends... There were eight of us, but since it was a Monday night, I wasn't expecting it to be full! However, the service and wait times were impeccable!!! The appetizers were good and plentiful, then we opted for two 2kg steaks, two different types of fish, but both sublime! The wine was served in the house "Fiaschetto" (flask), but it was truly excellent!!! The girl from Verona who served us was truly friendly and nice. A fair price, in my opinion, and more. Would I go back? Definitely YES!

The interior is well-maintained, but the outdoor gazebos are a huge plus, especially in Tuscany, allowing you to enjoy the climate and scenery in complete relaxation. The cuisine is excellent, faithful to the local tradition; you can't go wrong with quality ingredients and traditional recipes. Highly recommended!
