17/06/2024: Good value for money. Unfortunately, the pleasantness of the interior furnishings is not repeated in the garden furnishings, but the environment remains intimate and welcoming. The food is very respectable, the desserts are not memorable.

17/08/2024: Il ristorante ha un ampio parcheggio ed è vecchio stile ma carino. Abbiamo preso 1 pappardelle al ragù toscano, 1 risotto ai funghi porcini, 1 tagliata rucola e grana, 1 porzione di patatine fritte, 1 acqua frizzante, 1/2 lt di vino rosso della casa e 2 caffè spendendo 50,00€. Sia i primi che la carne erano buoni seppur nulla di eccezionale ma nella media e il prezzo è stato ottimo! Il cameriere (un ragazzo alto e magro) è stato molto professionale, celere, attento, gentile e sorridente! Davvero molto bravo! In tante serate è l’unico posto dove ho mangiato bene a Terricciola! Lo consiglio!

30/08/2024: We had an early dinner here with our three young children. We were unsure whether they'd be catered for, but the friendly staff assured us they could offer smaller portions or simple dishes to cater. The food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We felt it was good value too, and enjoyed the wine that we ordered to accompany for us adults.

29/08/2024: Hospitable and private environment. The friendliness of the owner was truly pleasant, as was her kindness and spontaneity. Excellent Pici with meat and tomato sauce, authentic Tuscan taste.

01/01/2024: Ho avuto modo di apprezzare molte volte la qualità, il servizio e l'atmosfera di questo locale, fino a diventarne un cliente assiduo fino a quanto purtroppo nello scorso mese di giugno un incidente stradale si è tristemente portato via Cristiano membro chiave della proprietà e a causa di questa tragedia l'attività è stata sospesa. Auguro che la famiglia possa riuscire superare il terribile evento e voglio con questa recensione ricordarli e incoraggiarli.

29/07/2023: With great sorrow I had to learn today that the owner has passed away following a motorcycle accident. I have visited this excellent place last year with friends three days in a row, and I felt compelled to come here again with my girlfriend just because of the Osteria Del Ghiotto. The exquisite cooking, the friendly welcome, and the impeccable service have stayed in my memory. My deepest condolences to the family and the village for this tragedy.

25/08/2024: We ended up here by chance and are very happy about it. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and pleasantly unobtrusive. The food was delicious and the wine was good. Thank you for the great hospitality

14/08/2024: We found the place in Volterra a bit by luck, yes, it was full of people and all the tables were occupied... after having dined there, we understand. Very good food, fresh, with a lot of aroma and great taste. The cheese selection is spectacular. The caprese with bufala the same. The variety of crostinis are good. The desserts are all homemade and very good. A super experience highly recommended.

11/08/2024: Nice place, fair prices, good food, good service, a little slow perhaps but I understand it was a nice busy evening. Maybe the bottle of wine could be opened at the table, but otherwise it fits.

01/09/2023: Locale ottimo, punto di riferimento per chi cerca la tradizione ma non le solite cose viste e riviste ovunque. Cucina e sapori autentici, si mischiano all’ innovazione dello Chef e alla cordialità e professionalità del personale di sala. Ottima anche la carta dei vini (si vede che dietro c’è tanta passione oltre che competenza). Il tutto in una location stupenda!

08/08/2023: It is the second time and this too fully met our expectations. Nice, quiet and very welcoming place, friendly and attentive staff. Food with an impeccable taste and well presented. Good wine cellar. If you are in the area (even not) and want to spend a nice and tasty evening I recommend it.

14/08/2024: Menu' non particolarmente ampio, ma ottimi cibi nella suggestiva piazzetta omonima. Ricordo le acciughe alla povera, i pici coi moscardini (da provare) ed il baccalà coi porri alla pisana (ben diverso e superiore a quello alla livornese!). E che dire delle pesche nel vino bianco, ottimo dessert "povero" che ormai non fa piu' nessuno ? Veramente da consigliare Un solo appunto, non certo alla cucina che va lodata. In questi tempi caldi sarebbe opportuno che si dotassero di aria condizionata, in modo che gli splendidi piatti non siano "annacquati" dalle gocce di sudore dei commensali. Claudio Poli

13/08/2024: Piccola trattoria nel rispetto della tradizione. Pochi piatti ma ben fatti con porzioni generose. La trippa è qualcosa davvero di speciale. Prezzi davvero onesti, l'acqua è inclusa con il coperto. Cosa volere di più?

31/08/2024: Service really too slow. We waited 50 minutes before having the starter. Otherwise friendly staff, a little inattentive but still pleasant. Good food quality. We had high expectations for the baked potatoes, we were a little disappointed.

30/08/2024: It's a pleasure to eat there. We were served very friendly by the service team. Always attentive and courteous. The food was a delight. Very very tasty. I had an antipasti selection and a Filetto al Pistacchio (see photo). Price/performance fits perfectly. We had a table on the terrace. Great view and very nicely equipped. I can highly recommend this Osteria. Pisa (and the Leaning Tower) are just a few minutes drive away. A small but beautiful village in the interior

12/08/2024: Really nice and nice place! Gourmet sandwiches like real food p**n 😅. We recommend the drying rack as an appetizer and yellow zone and carbo2.0 as sandwiches.

06/08/2024: Hi guys, I would like this review to be constructive and not discriminating, we went to dinner yesterday so randomly, we ordered 2 tartars and a Neapolitan starter.. The tartares were all normal, but the starter was all cold and reheated, the ham was very good but for the rest all things were prepared well in advance and simply reheated, and I'm sorry because you can see the effort you put into it. We were outside and there was a strong acidic cat smell. I repeat, I would like this comment to help you improve because I came to you when you were doing the tomahawk, which was fantastic, among other things. AM

21/07/2024: Venerdì 19 Luglio abbiamo festeggiato i primi 70 anni di mia moglie Elisabetta con 60 persone fra parenti e amici,molti dei quali venuti appositamente da Firenze ed alcuni di loro vi hanno anche pernottato. Bellissima location gestita con professionalità e ottima cucina. Grazie alla referente Chiara splendida padrona di casa. Lo consiglio caldamente per qualsiasi evento.
