09/12/2025: We had lunch with a nice group of friends... and honestly the food was good... the appetizers were traditional, yes, but everything was very good and the quality products, including the cold cuts... the first courses were spectacular, the penne alla boscaiola was super... a remarkable combination of flavors, as was the tagliolini with white ragù, you could tell there was an expert hand in the kitchen! ... grilled meat for the second course, but it was average. The atmosphere was overall quiet and quite familiar, although the bill was a bit high at the end!! Highly recommended.

11/12/2025: I don't think I'll ever go back. I ordered tagliolini with truffle for €35.00, and they had cream in the middle. I'm allergic to lactose, and I was sick all night! Not only that, but the cream is disgusting—maybe butter, but cream! Ugh! My partner ordered pici all'aglione, but I assure you there wasn't any garlic, just garlic, so strong and persistent that you couldn't stand to be near it; chemicals have that effect! In my opinion, if you want to try truffles, go somewhere else! They're poor quality and overpriced: two fried eggs that smell like truffles cost €35.00! Aren't they ashamed?

04/01/2026: Difficult to get to, the road is extremely narrow and the parking lot, once you reach the top of the hill, isn't very large, but the view is absolutely rewarding, spanning the entire valley all the way to Marina di Pisa. The place feels like an Alpine cabin, with a fireplace, a wood-burning stove, and wooden finishes, including the roof beams. The staff is extremely friendly, and you're greeted with a small sample of focaccia, bread fritters, and fried polenta. The menu is typically Tuscan, with appetizers featuring cured meats and cheese, and first courses ranging from ravioli, paccheri with duck ragù, sliced ​​beef, peposo, suckling pig with porcini mushrooms, and more. The house wine is not bad, a fragrant San Giovese. The homemade desserts include the deconstructed millefeuille with orange-flavored Chantilly cream and the traditional torta co' bischeri. Generous portions, very good ingredients, and a fair price, around €40 per person. Recommended even if it's not exactly on the road...

05/01/2026: Very good food in the center of Florence. The sirloin (I think) in truffle sauce, the second cut of meat under porcini mushrooms, and the sea bream – everything was cooked to perfection, and the service was top-notch. The Florentine steak, which I unfortunately skipped, was exorbitantly priced, and of course, because of its weight and size, so it would have to be shared between three or four people, but that's the standard price for this dish here. We dined there for New Year's Eve, and given the quality of the service and the dishes, this place is definitely a great choice for both a family dinner and an elegant gathering. I have nothing to complain about.

It was worth it. Beautiful, romantic place, and the staff were incredibly kind. 100% recommended.

08/01/2026: I've known this restaurant for a while and am prepared for the rudeness of Pisan waiters, but the owner has really gone too far, taking unacceptable liberties with us customers (perhaps because we're young). I hope they realize that by doing this, even if the food is delicious, people will eventually stop coming. I'm very sorry I won't be setting foot in here again.

27/12/2025: I don't think the owner's rudeness can be commented on. It's okay not to care about hit-and-run tourists, and that's perfectly acceptable, since we won't be returning. But there are too many things to comment on that would be unspeakable. The food is average, and the value for money is good.
